The door was opened by the guy not forced open. The deputy announced “sheriff’s department” 2 times and the office personnel told the deputy apt 1401… the deputy never said “he all shot up”….

I see a mother hugging the picture of her beloved son who is devastated and heartbroken. It sends a certain sadness in my heart to know he was safer in the air than he was on ground! I can't stand hearing a good guy get killed who was actually doing well for himself and his family. To be killed by a spooky and judgemental cop. He's gone but I know his family and his community will keep his name alive. Justice must be served!

Tragic!!! Just saw the body cam footage it was an execution. You have the right to answer your door with a firearm in your possession. The Airman answered the door with the weapon he legally owned pointed down and never raised it at the officer. The officer told him step back then discharged about 6 rounds into the Airman. The officer Never told the Airman put the weapon down or asked questions before he opened fire on the Airman. I hope that justice is served and may the Airman R.I.P. 🕊️

Apparently he was on FaceTime. Still doesn't change the fact that the lady who called the cops said she heard the commotion while "Walking by." Only problem is... Roger is on the 4th floor and the very LAST apt on said floor. Why the hell was she walking by? There's nowhere to walk but to his apt. She was nosy and called the cops cause she thought someone "was talking too loud."

That was an ambush. He hid beside the door and immediately fired when the door was open. His weapon was already drawn and aimed as the door opened. Ironically, this was allegedly the only blk resident in the complex and they knew he was there as a registered gun owner. It was a set up from the beginning

I see a few things on both sides. I see the officer identify himself 3 times. But standing over to the side, the Airman inside cannot see it is really a police officer. It could have been anyone saying they were police, and coming to rob him or something. The airman, while he did have a gun in his hand, AT NO TIME was it ever raised or pointed at the officer. Nor did the Airman make any aggressive move towards the officer. I can understand seeing a gun and being alarmed, but a drop your weapon would have been enough . Viewing the video bit by bit, when the officer told him to step out BOTH of his hands were at his side. He only raised a hand, and it was not the hand with the gun, to protect himself from the bullets coming at him. It was a defensive move.
How did they have the wrong apartment. The woman told the officer 1401... he was at 1401. Did that woman give him the wrong apartment number? I think the officer jumped the gun, literally. There was no aggression on the part of the Airman, whatsoever. The officer was the only one showing aggression.
I want to thank this Airman for his service to this country, and pray for him and his family. They must be heart broken. I would have said maybe the officer should have waited for more police before he went up there, but then that would have probably triggered more adrenaline and more shots at the Airman. I think this officer needs to be held accountable.

How many times does this have to happen? Tell me? The Palm Bay Police, namely "Steve Shytle, PBPD" illegally broke in to a home in 2016. A home the family owned since 1978! Steve Shytle physically stole everything from the home, a free for all for him, he stole cash, cell phone, jewelry, computer, art work, and expensive momentos, yet no record or inventory exist. A 3bed/2bath/2 garage fully finished home was completely empties by Steve Shytle, PBPD. There were witnesses, Attorney Bryn Brito and her assistant and others witnessed the crime. When police commit crimes, no FBI, no lawyers, no Department of Justice, no government agency create justice. If in 2016 the illegal break-in was administered justice, and corruption in Florida was stopped, then this young man would be alive. So do we wait until the next person's life is ended to say how sad we are, how we will pray for them? They are DEAD!! They will not see next year, a new car, a trip to Europe, a promotion, or their sons and daughters attend high school for the first time. They are DEAD!! However, the cop will have to stay home, eating pizza, watching Netflix, all the while depositing his paychecks in the bank with a smirk on his face.
It's not a perfect world no matter how bad you want it to be. Cops are just people. People make mistakes all the time, even when they're trying not to and so to answer your question; an indefinite amount of times.

This only happens In Florida but Oregon and Washington we have the defund the police which has been a good thing cause if they try killing you, they will be lock up and also start cutting law enforcement salaries cut on them.
I wanna know why the cop knocked on the door the first time and walked away with out announcing himself. Come back to the door with his gun already out and knocked a 2nd time. Then announce himself. Why not announce yourself the first damn time? Playing ding ding ditch is dangerous
The disturbance was two weeks prior and the caller decided to report it two weeks later and she the Karen, didn’t know which apartment the noise was coming from. Suspicious AF!

Some woman called about a disturbance. She admitted she wasn't sure which apartment it was coming from but she gave the police his apartment number. Anyway, it was dumb lady who called the police and got him killed.
