If one can & will respond back ? My question is, Is it fine to boil the medium? I have a life time supply of pine bark. It's the sponge like medium refuring to. Thank you for this knolage
One more question please. There's another orchid plant in which the flowers have been broken off by someone else. What do we do with it? Will it bloom again on it's own or should we do something for it? Thanks and have a lovely day❤️❤️❤️
About 3 months ago, I bought the recommended potting mix and plastic cups. I followed her instructions for repotting completely. My two orchid plants now have new leaves and the plants look very healthy. Thank you so much.
When I first saw the comment, I thought it was gonna say... "and now everything is dead." Only because the full comment needed to be expanded, and also this is a comment section, so it's not the place to look for kindness and respect, although I wish it was ❤ Thanks for taking the time to update with your experience! I am heading out in a few to get the things needed to follow her advice and give my orchid new life.
I just impulse bought my first orchid and ALMOST put it in regular soil!! I’m so glad I found this video lol now I want to go buy more orchids I’m obsessed 🤩🤩
You saved my mini phal. I was killing it by following the “instructions” on the store card. Reported it in a solo cup I cut slits into until I could get to that website once things left up after COVID just a bit. Now I have three orchids and repotme has my money lol.
Miss Orchid Girl, you saved my orchid! I knew nothing about orchids when I was given three of them as gifts. Two of them died not too long afterwards, despite my best (maladministered) efforts. Then, I searched for help and found your videos. OMIGOSH-you made orchid care incredibly straightforward and simple for me! My third orchid now has buds that are just about to open! And it looks so healthy. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
This was one of the best RUclips's I've seen. I have a small phalenopsis I have had for 3 years with only 1 set of blooms. It now has 6 perfect blooms and 14 buds on healthy green stems. I was about to repot it and you saved me from bad timing. Thank you for an awesome tutorial! You have created an orchid lover! Being shut in, due to the virus, made this discovery possible! Stay Safe everyone and share in the joys of orchids. "In every crisis there is opportunity" :)
Its been a long long time since I have seen such a beautiful orchids. My mother used to grow flowers in general. Daffodils to roses Roses Sunflowers, to Touch Me Nots. and all sorts of other flora. When it came to it, she had such a green thumb, and it also gave her something to do other than sit there and look pretty, and yes, she was pretty even at Seventy years old. Inside she had an array also, African Violets, climbing Irish Lattice, table mums, mini tea roses, flowering spagnius (a kind of moss ) Angels tears, and others. Oh yes.. one more flower called an elephants ear. It only bloomed once, and that was the year she became very ill with Rheumatoid and Osteo arthritis Yes, she had both of the crippling forms of the disease, and had been suffering with it for many years prior. The flowers were her hobby, and it kept her moving till she couldn't care for them any longer. All the inside flowers she gave away to other happy people who took them away, and then, she would cry after them. but she knew she couldn't care for them anymore. I have suddenly took a liking to Orchids. but they are ultra hard to grow. Love your channel here. Take care and God Bless you and yours. May your green thumb never turn gray !!
What a lovely story of your poor old Mum...what a great shame she had to give her beloved plants away. Disease is cruel. I hope she found solace knowing the pleasure she gave to others by giving them her plants. You obviously love your Mum and I send you both best wishes 🥰

Wow you really are very good at what you do! Honestly in the beginning I thought...oh no, Miss Orchid Girl is doing infomercials now! BUT you did such a nice job explaining the difference in mixes. Repot-me should be proud.
Flying gnats: get some of the mosquito dunks (small brown hard donut shaped things that you put in standing water to kill mosquito larva). Put a piece of one in water and let it soak for a few days then Use the water to water the orchids. The pesticide will kill the gnat larva. Keep doing this.
THANK YOU! I’ve been researching orchid care for several years and your videos are THE MOST helpful by far that I’ve found. Me and my orchid thank you 🌸💛
Wow, I learned so much in this video. Thank you for explaining and going over the importance of root care and why you don’t cut the yellow roots. I didn’t know it was lacking in chlorophyll. I would have cut it lol
Thanks to your videos I'm finally able to keep happy orchids! All those times when I got orchids, they'd die because I followed the instructions on the tag. The store I work at sells phalaenopsis orchids sometimes and when the flowers drop, they're thrown out. I brought some of them home and it was such a surprise when I repotted it how it had the most horrible potting mix and most of the roots were already rotten. It took some time for them to recover, but they soon started to make new leaves and flower spikes. I now have three beautiful orchids flowering and another one that's growing its flower buds after recovering from the fungus infection it had when I got it. These flowers bring me so much joy! I look at them every day and they always make my day better.
I bought the soil and pots that she recommended and it saved my dying orchids! Amazing ❤ thank you so much. They are both growing new leaves and roots like crazy! 😊
I repotted 3 phalaenopsis today. It is my first experience with this type of orchid. I'm glad that I watched this video and several related ones. I used the "Phalaenopsis AAA Gold Imperial" from rePotme, and I love it. I also used 2 "slot pots" and 1 "carousel pot" from the same company and I like those also. I will see how the plants do. One of the plants was injected with a dye to cause the flowers to turn blue in color. Attempting to wipe the leaves clean of dust also got dried dye on my hands. I hope to save that plant. My wife asked me to take over the care of these plants, all of which are potbound and in some cases dehydrated. I feel I am on the right track. Thank you for this excellent video and also for the many other videos you have posted. I see that if I have a question, I can check your catalog of orchid videos and very likely find a video that will answer my question.
These videos are very helpful! I bought an orchid at CVS about 6 months ago and the flowers didn't last too long. It's still producing new leaves that are very green and firm so I guess I'm doing something right! However, I plan on repotting it. So, I bought some plant medium, and a slatted pot/saucer so that I have all the correct items that my orchid needs to hopefully bloom again! Thanks for showing us how to care for these plants!!
I found rePotme a while a go and they have great products and wonderful variety. Thank you SO much for demonstrating HOW to use rePotme supplies. I've needed to repot my orchids for years now, but didn't want to take the chance I'd damage them. This video removed that fear.
We receiving a huge phalaenopsis orchid from a flower shop sent to us by our neighbors. It had 11 huge white blooms and bloomed for over 3 months. When I watched you repotting I decided to try and repot mine. I was a little hesitant since it grew a new leaf in the month of January'! When I repotted I had no idea there was so many roots, 1 measured 18 inches long. I only had the next size up of pots so it's very crowed and will require repotting in less than a year. But thank you for all you recommendations. I used rePotme pots with Gold Imperial Orchid mix since I live in the southwest desert. I had to dig out all the palm mulch which was old and smelly. Since repotting her a week ago I now see a node on the old flower stem is puffing out. I've only fertilized the plant once a couple of months ago and will put some liquid fertilizer on her this next week. Thanks Danny for giving us you expert opinion and knowledge.
Thank you for these videos. I love how you explain things so clearly and show what to look for. I went from feeling anxiety, worrying that I was neglecting my orchids, to feeling happy, knowing my orchids are actually healthy, and confident in how to properly care for them. Now I'm super excited about being an orchid mom 😁💜🙏 Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you so much for all the time and effort you spend making these videos. I was given a beautiful "grocery store" no ID Phalaenopsis in March. The last of its beautiful flowers just started to wilt. Because of finding your videos I was able to repot my first orchid today. Thank goodness I did it, the pot was so small and tightly packed that some of the roots were just beginning to get mushy. I was able to repot my orchid in a more suitably sized pot, with good quality potting mix from repotme. Now the potting media actually retains moisture and my orchid will hopefully survive and be able to produce more blossoms after the growth season. By the way, this was a just add ice orchid. Thank goodness I followed my instincts and used water instead of ice. I was especially fortunate to find your videos last month, and learned how to better care for my plant. Thank you so very much for the education you provide in your videos 💞
I’m so glad I found you! A coworker recently gave me my first orchid after my dad died. Well, she overwatered it and… you can figure out the rest. She gave me another one and didn’t water it at all for almost two weeks when I was sick. I came back to work and all the flowers were dried up. I’m determined to bring it back to life, the leaves are beautiful and I’d say 1/2 of the root system is healthy. I’m just waiting on my shipments from rePotme to get started. I have learned so much. Thank you for helping those of us who would otherwise ruin these lovely plants.
Hi! I watched this video a year ago, about the time the blooms fell off my gift orchid. From the cane and only two viable roots, following your potting and care advice, four blooms were produced from the now healthy orchid this season! I can't tell you how excited I am about it, because I have a brown thumb! For Valentine's, I asked for another orchid, and I got two! Repotted them same day. Yes, Ma'am! Thank you so much!
Excellent video even for the seasoned orchid grower!! I noticed that the potting medium you used has a substantial amount of moss. I thought it was best to use a minimal amount in the pots. Also, can you please make a video showing when it is time to report because of cramped roots? Can you show the different size pots and which size phalaenopsis should be planted in each pot? I can't tell if my roots are too crowded in its containers.
I was enjoying these videos so much and learning a lot but now that they're sponsored, I can't be sure that the products being tested are ones she really uses or believes in. I'm confused.
Thank you so much! Last year I knew nothing of orchids and my beautiful plant quickly shrivelled and lost her blooms. Today my orchid has flowered after one year of following your videos. She's a beauty!
Hi Danny! Just repotted my first Orchid ever a Phalaenopsis. I got it for christmas realized from watching your videos not to do the ice cube thing and even though it was potted in sphagnum moss it was dehydrated! Wasn’t in a pot with slits on the sides so bought from Repotme new pots and Monterey Gold Imperial mix. I thought it would be good to graduate it over from total sphagnum moss to this medium. Got the gloves, sterilized the scissors and saw the roots were pretty good. Ran the roots under warm water and had tweezers to pick out the moss. Would not have had a clue what to do without you. It looks good fingers crossed!
You are everything! Thank you for doing what you do... my heart is exploding with gratitude for your knowledge but more so for all of those little plants you saved (including my own) Namaste🙏
Thank you for the advice! I have a mini phalenopsis I got on discount at the grocery store, I’ve never had much luck with orchids but I wanted to try again, I feel much more confident about replacing the medium now.
I recently became obsessed with orchids, I want more and really want to make sure they are happy. Definitely checking out repotme for some supplies. Thank you for the helpful advice!!
I'm new to orchids - my husband bought me a mini-phalaenopsis in January. It didn't last long. Now on orchid #4, I found your video. I followed your instructions to transplant this little guy. Found impacted medium but mostly healthy roots. I feel more optimistic that this one has a better chance of survival, thanks to you.
So glad you repotted flowering plants. I did this for the same reason, to prolong the life not the flowers and I was scorned by my husband who was wounded by the flower drop. My plant came with moss and was so wet from the shop. So I swapped it for one with some clay balls as well. Much happier now 2years on I have it double flowering :)
Hi. I'm a newbie with orchids as my daughter was throwing hers out and I wanted to try to save it for her. Your guidance was clear and simple. Will let you know how things go.
Hey Dani, I watched your video on separating large orchids and repotted them in two pots. I didn't have much hope because it was in terrible shape but what happened was fabulous. The one section that I hoped would live has bloomed with two spikes! It's never done that and this plant I'd years old. The plant in the second pot had no leaves but green stalks and I had not much hope. What happened a totally new stalk grew out of what I thought was dead! You're awesome!
It was so interesting to see the video on the aquarium gravel. I am in Hawaii and African Violets love growing in the aquarium gravel with no drainage. I was thinking of doing that with my orchids. My phalaenopsis I got for my birthday 4 months ago hasn't lost a flower or leaf in 4 months, even tho I haven't repotted it. I guess they are more forgiving in the tropics, lol! Your video and my violets sure let me know I'm on the right track, thank you so much!💖👍🥰
I've been following for a few years and I tell anyone interested in Orchids to come to this channel. Last week, I ordered the repotme brand soil used in this video and the set of 8 pots (2 each in 4 different sizes). Today I will be repotting the four phalaenopsis I own. They are all healthy, all have new growth in forms of new leaves or air roots, but I know the medium they are in is old and one is literally growing OUT of her pot so she needs a new home. :D Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of Orchid knowledge. What would we ever do without you? I know what we'd do, we'd still be watering our orchids with ice cubes and would toss the plants when the flowers die. LOL
Thank you for this video! I especially loved the segment on the root health of the first orchid. I learned so many valuable things about orchid roots from this.
Thank you so much! I watched your video the first time a few months ago and finally repotted my tiny orchid that I’ve been tending for years. It exploded with a new leaf and the leaves grew like crazy. Because of that I repotted again a few weeks ago and now it has buds 🤭 I’m so glad I finally got it out of the hard foam or whatever it has been in in its tiny cup from the grocery store. I couldn’t have done it without this video and your recommendations.
I’m repotting my distressed orchid tonight and I’ll probably have this video playing while I do. So glad I came across Miss Orchid Girl’s channel so I could actually tell my girl is in trouble.
I appreciate your videos, thank you! I was recently gifted my first orchid, which was already flowering beautifully, but I wanted to ensure that she was really happy and healthy so I followed this video and repotted her. I’m glad I did, because I didn’t like the looks of her potting medium, although I only had to snip off one root. I hope that she will now be even happier! Thanks again.
This was really helpful! My husband likes to buy me orchids but i dont know how to take care of them and ends up dying (or so I thought) this time i decided to maybe save them. Now i know I definitely have to repot them. 😁
I wondered about the white roots so thank you for the info concerning those. I love the look of Repotme's media, looks so clean! I also heard before that the roots like to touch the sides of the pot but I see with the poor mini that that isn't always necessary. Thank you!
Nicely done Danny!! Very easy to follow and learn for a beginner. You have definitely taught me a lot over the last two years. I'm definitely a lot more confident my care and problem solving with sick plants. Thanks for your great content and presentation!!!
Thank you for your videos! Just got to a mini phalaenopsis that had some bad roots, re potted him hopefully he continues to do well. I'm pretty confident that I did everything I could and did it properly thanks to you! :)
I just bought an orchid and your video's are very informative. I am interested in keeping orchids because they are very beautiful. Looking forward to viewing more of your sessions. THANK YOU
Hi Danni, love your videos. I am an Orchid lover too and like every beginner I have lost a few in the process of giving them the right care. Your videos are very educational and helpful. I have purchased Phalaenopsis and dendrobiums and have been very successful in repotting and giving them healthy grow. Thank you!! 😘
Wow its been a few years since I watched 1 of your videos, they are so professional now, great job! More concise and edited well, thanks for great info. I discovered Repot me site from you, ordered some clear orchid pots which don't seem to be carried in stores. Getting ready to repot so watched this as refresher and learned new things about which roots to trim! Forwarded to newbies I gave orchids to as the store orchids all seem to be potted with ball of spagnum around center to keep from drying out until sold, but it stays too wet and rots roots eventually so needs to be repotted. Question: I thought orchids weren't supposed to be repotted while blooming but u just did all 3, did the flowers last or drop after? Thanks Danni.
I am so glad I found you! I was given an orchid as a gift and have never been able to grow them. I just repotted mine and fingers crossed it survives. 😊
Great work, one thought, add to the screen, spelling of words that are so new to us students to this culture. Either way you are the best on FB that i have found.
Bought my first orchids last Fall, I have been watching your videos for three days to find out what I have (Phalaenopsis), and how to repot and care for them. Beginners luck, I have two Keiki's on one of my three plants. Thanks so much for sharing all your expertise and advise, your amazing!
Oh no a sphagnum plug in the middle haha! That is my nemesis. Oh wow that poor mini Phal and the black roots 😱 gives me freaky shivers, hope she recovers! I wish I’d seen such helpful videos like yours when I started keeping Orchids. Luckily, I found your channel shortly after. Repotme and their mixes are really great; I’m happy you partnered with them 😊🌺
Question: Can you put the transparent pot inside a decorative pot, or does it need to stay inside a transparent pot all the time for the root to receive sunlight for photosynthesis?
repot about every year or so into fresh medium, and repot into a pot that's a size bigger if it's overflowing the current pot. they don't seem to care too much about what time of year you repot, so don't worry about that.
i was gifted a Phalaenopsis Orchid from a co worker and so happy i found your channel. Learned so much already from just a handful of videos especially this one on caring for these beautiful flowers. I bought the special blend with the link you provided and am excited and eager to get my orchid on track for a healthy life.
I have had orchids for many years, and quite in need of repotting. Some are falling out of the pots they are in, but continue to spike. I have one orchid that has had a baby and I need to separate it and replant. So thankful I have watched this so I know how to look for dead roots -- and there are many on every plant. Will order this mix and new pots. Thanks so much for the information. Can't wait to undertake this project!
You have a great series of videos; thank you! I would appreciate hearing your thoughts about the ceramic pots that have large holes on the sides, but none on the bottom. They are advertised as 'orchid' pots, but I haven't seen you use them. Instead you use the plastic pots with slits down the sides. Thank you!
Hi, unglazed clay pots (of any kind) dry out too fast for my climate, due to their porous nature. So they just make my life much harder, but they could benefit people with different environments than mine :)
Such a great video. Thank you so much. I am a new orchid owner and so grateful for your help and Repotme.com for have the best mediums to grow orchids. Great job both of you. Ty.
#suggestion create a seperate playlist for this so it is easy to see it and all repotme stuff gathered in a same place so we dont need to search on phal potting for beginers and other orchids potting in other playlist😁 congratulations for your partnership im happy for you and 111k subscribers😍🤩🤗 thats awesome to see😊
This is the first time for me repotting an orchid. I was given a beautiful purple mini orchid after having surgery. I'm determined to keep this one growing. Unfortunately, it was not potted in proper orchid medium. It appears to be potting soil. This was not addressed in your repotting video. I just spent 25 minutes to get the dirt off and roots basically cleaned. But there are some remnants still stuck to the roots. The stems were dried so I cut those as you instructed. Almost all the roots are firm however there are several that are half broken. You say not to cut into the green so do I leave them broken for repotting?
Debbie I am so proud as I had bought a mini orchard months ago then after her flowers fell off. I decided to try mounting her on a beautiful bush root. To my happy surprise i knew she was growing a new crazy shaped spike... Then this a.m. she is growing a nice size flower bulb then some tiny ones behind it... Wow !! I did buy some ferterlizer just for them.. I have another mini not mounted & growing in a tiny pot. So need to getvan orchard pot.....love ur videos... Thanks Debbie
Thank you! I am a new orchid momm and 😬😬😬💯 i repotted and used the wood chips they sell at the store... I could tell it is unhappy so glad i found your channel! Definatly one of the most informative!)
After watching this video, I braved up and repotted my orchid, which was growing new leaves but has a lot of rotten roots. I was debating whether to leave it alone or give it a fresh start. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will survive the repotting and thrive. One quick question to Danny or other orchid expert: if the mid-section of a long root is rotting (bottom part is still alive), should I still cut it off of leave it alone? Can the root still carry water/nutrients back is the mid-section is black and rotten away? Thank you for any input.
Thank you so much for this video. I received an orchid for my birthday, and it was my first one and I was very excited. I had suspicions that it was improperly potted, I watched your video and saved my orchid! I couple weeks later the roots look so much better.
Thanks for all the informative videos! I've recently bought an orchid that was packed so tightly in the pot I had to repot it, I bought the repoting basic kit from Repotme which includes an all purpose orchid mix (no media), I've watered eveytime I saw the roots getting the greyish color (10m in water, like you taught in the other video). But now the wood pieces from the mix are getting moldy, what should I do?

I learned a lot from this video. Thank you.

One more question please. There's another orchid plant in which the flowers have been broken off by someone else. What do we do with it? Will it bloom again on it's own or should we do something for it?

I’m glad your orchids are healthy and happy!!
My husband gave me an orchid for Valentine’s Day and I’m determined to keep it alive and well. Thank you!
me too 😅
Same. Got mine for Mother’s Day
This is a great video, glad I watched it before destroying my orchid thinking I could just pot it in soil 🤦🏻♀️
What did we do before RUclips??

When you already potted your orchid in regular garden soil mix.... I’m crying now my orchid is dying and idk what to do!
That’s exactly what I was going to do. I’m glad I watched this!
I just impulse bought my first orchid and ALMOST put it in regular soil!! I’m so glad I found this video lol now I want to go buy more orchids I’m obsessed 🤩🤩
How is ur orchid doing?
Me too! i got one as a present, and not only has it survived, it's bloomed twice!
I bought one too $*
I also got one because I was bored
I got one as a gift the other day and I'm looking up video to see how to take care of it. I'm not a planter but we will see what happens.
The instructions on how to determine which roots should be trimmed are amazing!
You saved my mini phal. I was killing it by following the “instructions” on the store card. Reported it in a solo cup I cut slits into until I could get to that website once things left up after COVID just a bit. Now I have three orchids and repotme has my money lol.
into a silted solo cup .. youre an icon im gonna do that with mine!!!
What soil mix did you use for your mini?
@@autumngwinn2246 the same Phal mix I used for my big one!

After seeing these videos I feel strange urge in markets to buy all the poor orchids in tight dense aged media and save them. 😄
I was thinking this exact thing. I also want to educate the flower shops, lol.
I was gifted a beauty & I'm now obsessed.
I'm juuuuust having the same feeling omg
You can put a wanted ad in your local neighborhood app , FB marketplace or Craigslist if you have avail by you. Many people want to get rid of them for free.
I often save many poor dying plants in nurseries. I imagine I will add more orchids to!
Where can I buy the new potting mix?
Wow you really are very good at what you do! Honestly in the beginning I thought...oh no, Miss Orchid Girl is doing infomercials now! BUT you did such a nice job explaining the difference in mixes. Repot-me should be proud.
Dear Orchid Lady how can I get rid of the flying Knats that fly out from the orchid pot while waterlng
Vanellen Hawthorne you may have decomposing medium that is attracting gnats. Definitely inspect and potentially repot your orchid.
Flying gnats: get some of the mosquito dunks (small brown hard donut shaped things that you put in standing water to kill mosquito larva). Put a piece of one in water and let it soak for a few days then Use the water to water the orchids. The pesticide will kill the gnat larva. Keep doing this.

This video has been so helpful! I’ve transformed 5 very sad orchids and three are now producing flower stalks and blooms!
I repotted my 5 & 3 year orchids out of the media that they came with. Amazing that they were still alive. Thanks for the video.
O
I think she uses more moss than you would normally because she lives in a very hot and dry climate

I got a 4 inch one on sale this weekend. It was on clearance because the flowers fell. I can't wait to repot it.
Thank you. I just adopted an orchid from an estate sale and with your video I will give it the best opportunity to thrive
Your video and my violets sure let me know I'm on the right track, thank you so much!💖👍🥰
Thankx for all of your helpful videos. I have found my "One Stop Orchid Shop"!
Thank you so much for sharing your wealth of Orchid knowledge. What would we ever do without you? I know what we'd do, we'd still be watering our orchids with ice cubes and would toss the plants when the flowers die. LOL
Thank you so much!!!!!!! Great video for a beginner who loves orchids!
what to do if flowering stem die also no more blooms were on the stems do I cut it off the rest of leaves are green and roots look good
Missorchidgirl thank you, you have the best voice for teaching, the content is also very clear. I love listening to you :)
Dani’s videos are so helpful! I’m a real rookie at this, and I find if I watch them more than once, there’s always something new that jumps out at me.
7:53 Amazing video! 🌸 I love how clearly you explain each step of orchid care
Yup, a day later and I'm still watching and re-watching.
This video was best I’ve seen - clearly explained, concise and very well presented. I’m new to orchid growing and found it so helpful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this series! 🤞 for my orchid, I had no idea what I was doing! She's repotted and we shall see how she does.
Thank you for this video! I especially loved the segment on the root health of the first orchid. I learned so many valuable things about orchid roots from this.
I love this series, I’m new to orchids, can’t wait for the watering video.
When putting the orchid medium, I saw another video where a chopstick was used to help☺️ Seems like a good idea 💡

Thank you so much. I have just repotted 12 of my orchids and saved them from lack of ventilation. They already look happier.
This was really helpful! My husband likes to buy me orchids but i dont know how to take care of them and ends up dying (or so I thought) this time i decided to maybe save them. Now i know I definitely have to repot them. 😁
Thank you I just repotted my orchard I got for a gift I'm learning so much from you
I have been using repot me and it def is amazing.but now the difference in media I understand so much better thank you Dani
Thanks for adding that bit about the root colors! I was eyeing some white roots wondering if I should cut them so I'm glad I watched this first!
I wondered about the white roots so thank you for the info concerning those. I love the look of Repotme's media, looks so clean! I also heard before that the roots like to touch the sides of the pot but I see with the poor mini that that isn't always necessary. Thank you!
I like how you include your promotions now. It isn't obtrusive at all, and really shows what you like in the casual 2ay someone would talk about it
Nicely done Danny!! Very easy to follow and learn for a beginner. You have definitely taught me a lot over the last two years. I'm definitely a lot more confident my care and problem solving with sick plants. Thanks for your great content and presentation!!!
I love your clear instructions and how you refer to these beautiful plants as 'she' xxx
THANK YOU
I'm so glad I found you. I'm totally new to orchids. Thank you for well explained video. Learned so much. Andrea x
This is one of my favorite RUclips channels so calming and informative! Thank you and my orchid thanks you😭🥰
Hi Danni, love your videos. I am an Orchid lover too and like every beginner I have lost a few in the process of giving them the right care. Your videos are very educational and helpful. I have purchased Phalaenopsis and dendrobiums and have been very successful in repotting and giving them healthy grow. Thank you!! 😘
So glad I found your channel. I just got my 1st orchid's. Excited about learning all I can. ❤
Repotme and their mixes are really great; I’m happy you partnered with them 😊🌺
I potted an Orchid while I followed along this video! Thanks for the lesson
Thank you for this video! I feel much more comfortable repotting my new orchid. I love it!
My son gave me a orchid last year for mother's day and it's still alive!! thank you for this video to help me know what to do to help it
Question: Can you put the transparent pot inside a decorative pot, or does it need to stay inside a transparent pot all the time for the root to receive sunlight for photosynthesis?
Wow, you are the best! I have learned a lot from you. Thank you very much for sharing.
How do I know when i need to repot my phalaenopsis? Also how do I know which size pot to buy for my phalaenopsis?
repot about every year or so into fresh medium, and repot into a pot that's a size bigger if it's overflowing the current pot. they don't seem to care too much about what time of year you repot, so don't worry about that.
i was gifted a Phalaenopsis Orchid from a co worker and so happy i found your channel. Learned so much already from just a handful of videos especially this one on caring for these beautiful flowers. I bought the special blend with the link you provided and am excited and eager to get my orchid on track for a healthy life.
You have saved my 3 orquids. I had no idea what they needed 😔 😢
Ty.
#suggestion create a seperate playlist for this so it is easy to see it and all repotme stuff gathered in a same place so we dont need to search on phal potting for beginers and other orchids potting in other playlist😁 congratulations for your partnership im happy for you and 111k subscribers😍🤩🤗 thats awesome to see😊
I am watching this video 2 months after it came out and there are now 121K subscribers. You are on fire, Danny!
Jack Orchid Enthusiasts ❤️
So helpful! I just had to do this to a blooming orchid I received. Thanks for sharing, I love your videos ❤
Leave them if they are green. You will be surprised how good orchids are at growing their roots!
I've been searching for months for such a good visual on roots! Thank you!
Danni said if part of the root was dead but the end was still alive to leave it on.
I have my first orchid for a birthday present .I love all of this information
do you need to repot them right away after you bought them? Or do you wait until they are done blooming? Thank you!
I am getting to repot my orchid. Your videos were very helpful! Thank you!
They are sold out of the Phalaenopsis AAA Gold Imperial Orchid mix. What's a good alternative?
