- The BMW X1 may come in a small package, but it has sporty aspirations with a hint of luxury. The interior is based upon the 2 Series Active Tourer but, with added visibility in the form of a raised seat height. Does the X1 offer enough space however to outclass rivals such as the Audi Q3 and Mercedes GLA? The parcel shelf is very handy. Saab had it in the last 9.5 and I loved it. You can put things on it without pushing down to the luggage space below it.

I purchased the 2018 X1 in 2017 and absolutely LOVE it! Being 5' tall it is a perfect fit. My husband is 6'3 and has plenty of room as well. The x1 is sporty,fast and nimble! Getting lots of "nice car" comments gives one a sense of pride. BMW FOREVER!
Lol. How often can you find BMWs with adaptive cruise control? You barely find any on the used market and no one tick this box either when it’s new. How sad is that. Some cheaper makes have this feature as standard.
You need to see beyond this BMW sheep mentality. There are much better cars around. The reliability is also terrible. I’ve also been a BMW sheep until I got my Lexus.
@@attilab.2818 who cares about active cruise? Not many people. That's why no one bothers to waste their money. My partner has it on her car. Neither of us ever use it.

I drove an x2 for about 3 days when my x3 was gertting its battery replaced and it was really fun to drive. It does 0-100 so quick and you won't even notice! Its too small for me though, I enjoy my x3.

Am reviewing this late 2020, near four years after this video was produced. Despite new rivals on the scene, methinks the X1 still holds its ground. BTW, I realize I miss the ol' Car Wow music in these videos, esp. the cue that announces Matt's conclusion.
Tbh ,I find that the interior and infotainment system really shows it’s age now ,and not only that but even when I think 4 years back when this was filmed ,I still think the interior was anything but modern and sleek.compare it to the xc60 which also was introduced in 2017 and there is a vast difference

hello, thank you for the interesting videos, it is very useful. as seen, only 2 bulbs of the headlight on both sides in total 4 bulbs turning on during your driving trip, could you tell me how to turn on all 4 bulbs of the headlight???

I have the sport model, it has carbon fibre when the ac, the steering is and it comes with a wooden trim. Om the side mirrors a really cool trim
