Hey man, as a beginner in IT, i will build my first pc into NR200p case. I watched thousands of videos and came across this one. Your comment made me decide on this guy, thanks bro
Love the fact that you don't stop when the assembly is done, but also walk the user through how to actually make use of those components by installing software. It's a step I don't need help with, but it just shows how thorough you are, so I have no doubt you will be thorough with the part I'm here for.
Awesome build guides! Not many channels take the time to be so clear, detailed and comprehensive - which is what I want when building. Huge savings on time and frustration. Many thanks!
When you installed the m2 ssd, it looked like it bended. Did you forget a spacer or something ? Or is it just an incorrect visual impression I can't tell...
he did and hes deleting comments highlighting it lol xDD, he could easily edit the video acknowledging it i dunno why he doesnt. with regards to the m2 ssd i think he forgot to screw the centre mount deeper to make it level with the outermost screw. other than this its a well polished video but i seriously think deleting comments is quite tacky
I've followed your guide to complete my build. I'm an enthusiast so I didn't need all the explanations, but your tips during the build allow me to avoid painful post-build "oh my god I can did it better". Keep it going!
Hello, thank you for this build. I'm going to repeat this only in the white case. Are all the components working well? I am very worried about the assembly, I am assembling it for the first time.
Thank you so much for the comprehensive guide for the NR200P! I recently completed my first PC build in this PC case and I had your video playing in the background to guide me and I encountered zero problems (except for the GPU part, because I can't afford one right now lol). More power to you, sir.
Thanks for the step by step! I'm thinking about updating my case to this one and was really helpful to get an idea of what the reassembly process would be. The others are all over produced hyper edited with cuts + dubstep all over the place showing off their RGB light show monsters when all I wanted is an idea of where everything would go haha. Cheers!
Ignoring the obvious NI accent similarities, you sound an awful lot like Jim Browning! In the nicest way possible, your voice belongs to a much older man. It's calming and soothing. I'm from NI too, and never have I heard someone younger than about 45 sound the way you do.
I just finished setting up an exact same build using this video!! So bloody happy right now! this is the most most useful tutorial out there for NR200 users!! Love from India! Keep up the good work!!! Also, first time build!! :D No problems at all .. !!
Christopher! Thank you SO much for how thorough and non-judgmental you are in all of your videos and for explaining the whys and hows as if someone has never done this before-as someone who has NEVER done this before I watched this video thoroughly and took it with me on the journey to build my FIRST EVER COMPUTER! Yep, I did a mini first which I will probably not recommend to any other first time builders but I did it! Thanks SO much for the time and clarity that you put in your work!
Hello, I really admire your setup and I'd like to create something similar. However, I've purchased a 7900XT with a length of 313 mm. Could you please tell me the length of your GPU? would the 313 mm GPU fit in the NR200P? Thank you for your assistance.
Hi Christopher, thanks for your detailed guides. I have assembled the same build except with no graphics card. When booting up I'm not getting any display via onboard HDMI connection. Mother boards ez-debug light for 'vga' is lit. Have updated BIOS via USB flash update to latest. Removed and re-seated RAM cards as well. Still no POST during boot. Really appreciate your expert advise.
Nr200P Case - Mounting Slim Fans In The Stop Bracket With Push Pins. Hoping you can offer a solution: In building my NR200P I placed my fans at the top, but the right-hand fan hit the plug on the power supply preventing me from installing the screened top. So I moved these fans to the bottom. Feeling I needed more airflow I purchased two slim fans (120mm x 120mm x 15 mm) which will work if I can figure out how to mount them! The push pins that came with, are two long and don’t hold the fans tight up against the rubber grommets! I bought some shorter pins but they turned out to not hold the fans in, and fall out when. I go to install the fan plate/frame to the case. Do you know of another method to mount and hold the fans in place?
10 minutes in, I stripped one of the two screws on the nvme heatsink, even though I got the first screw out fine. Lucky that there's a second SSD slot I can use while I get a screw extractor kit.
I am moving an SFF build into the NR200 case this weekend that is very similar to this, including the CPU cooler. I was wondering if side fans would be helpful so I will definitely watch the subsequent thermal testing video. Thanks for the clear presentation, especially the cable management tips.
This video is greattttttttttttttttt, except I can't hear it. I just listened to another RUclips video at 60% volume and for your video, i am at 100% volume and I still can't hear. I ended up downloading the video and I am playing it with VLC. Thought you should know, Thanks
Nice Work! Do you use sleeved psu cables? Im failed yesterday because my sfx-l from seasonic sgx 650 dont fit to use 2x top fans because of psu power kabel :( if i switched the psu position i cannot install the gpu. Bad thing, ordered also a corsair sfx an hope it will fit
Hello ! I recognised that accent straight away haha, I'm an Ulster man myself . Fair play on the channel! Really might go for this case, my current case is absolutely tiny and I just put a 3070 in it. Unfortunately it's running way too hot. This seems be the job
Hi man. I can t install my SATA cables in the Mobo. When I do it, if I put the PSU on its cage it just goes above the SATA connectors. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance
The MX-4 paste needs to go, it's counterintuitive to use MX-4 with a beefy expensive cooler. It's not only going to provide inferior performance compared to the hi-end solutions but it would also dry up in just around half a year.
Warning Guys…..if you are using a recent Graphics Card the Riser Cable that comes with the case may not work! It caused me a lot of headaches as my first PC build!
Hi Chris, understand I'm replying to an old video. I got almost identical build like yours down to the choices of air cooler, Darkrock TF. However, one thing that I found intriguing is that you set the 2 fan for the cooler, on opposite direction? The fan on top I agree with you, to take the air then push it through the fins. However, isn't better for the fan at the bottom to also direct the air the same way with the fans on top? as in to take from fins and blow it down towards the mobo?
Good to finally see someone explaining fan curves. Explaining these is so important. I see so many people wasting tons of money for gigantic coolers just for stock clocked mainstream CPUs, because "these are quiet" ... Also many people need to learn that 80-85 degrees Celsius or even higher is still within margins for the CPU. No need to keep it below 50 degrees Celsius during three hour stress testing. My R5 5600X reaches 64 degrees during Cinebench R23 with a 25 Euro BeQuiet Pure Rock Slim 2 while I can barely hear it (also built into a NR200P).
How’s the noise levels in this build? I have an NR200P and a Ryzen 7 3700X but I’m using the included Wraith Prism and it’s loud. The fan constantly ramps up and down. Opening Chrome ramps the fans. I think something is wrong but I don’t know. Should I go for an after market cooler?
Would you say this CPU cooler you’ve recommended for this build or an Noctua NH-U12A for an 5800x. I’ve ordered all the parts as shown in the video, just waiting for them to arrive. Btw great video, a proper build!
Unless I missed you mentioning those fans being backwards, PC fans intake on the hub side, so the way you've got those set up on your CPU cooler would be pulling air down through the fins, instead of up through them. Great, though!
what screws did you use to attach fan to side radiator panel? great video, this is pretty much exactly what I'm building but with a noctua cooler. I can't figure it out. The noctua nf a14 I want to connect doesn't seem to have screws to mount it either.
and also the bottom panel, the provided screws with the nr200p case don't have screws that thread into the holes for my fans...unless somehow I'm mistaken
I have a Dell Opti 7050 and decided I want to build something with more potential. I dont want a big case like my old gaming case, but I wonder if this size case is too small as its only 1" larger in each dimension compared to my Dell. You take the time to explain everything and thats great!
The only thing bad I can say is that this guy gives you too much choice lol. I was going to follow one of your other vids... But now with this tiny tower... something I would love due to space concerns... I'm now seriously tempted . Haha. Keep it up as I'm well into your vids right now. Cheers dude
Hi... can i just ask before I buy. The psu... not sure how the wattage works... But would I be able to use a 750w? Is there any pros or cons doing this?
Nice build, and this video helped me a lot when putting my NR200 build together (i5 10600K). Note that on an MSI Z490I board, SATA2 is disabled if you have two M.2 drives installed, so you don't want to choose that one when you are plugging in your SATA data cable if you have filled both M.2 slots.
One thing I like to do is detach every other drive when installing windows, I've had some trouble before as I had other drives connected and it messed up the process. In this case it might be a bit difficult because of the small case and little space but just a pointer :P
Will this run games such as war zone and other fast paced games? Would you say it had some future proofing for gaming and of so how many years. Again apologies for all the questions and comments lol
very indepth with every aspect, I came to this video $or questions I had about the case and every question I had was answered with how indepth you were. great video, don't change how you do your videos. love it!
Great video. In fact, you can put a slim fan above the cpu cooler if you choose a noctua slim fan (or 2 side by side) and use their rubber mountings (and cut the rubber top off).
Nice channel. Is it possible to use the Gen 3 m.2 slots for your OS and programs and the Gen 4 m.2 slot for editing footage in programs like Premiere Pro?
i just built a pc using this exact case a little less than a month ago (my first build), and this video would have been so helpful back then. love the attention to detail and easy explanations. i am using the stock cooler right now but was thinking of upgrading to an aftermarket one bc its a little too loud for my liking, so i would have loved to see some noise testing as well with the stock fans/cooler. otherwise amazing video!!!!

Oh and are the coolers at the bottom of the box are necessary? Or can I just let the ones of the top plus the one of the CPU ? This is the first PC i'm gonna build..
If you want to know how to build a pc then this is the channel. Everything is explained in a clear and concise way. Keep it up.
Hey man, as a beginner in IT, i will build my first pc into NR200p case. I watched thousands of videos and came across this one. Your comment made me decide on this guy, thanks bro
Man you have the most calming voice I heard on youtube.
Sounds like a good lad from Belfast.
U gay?
@@swashington942 Yea, you pretty ?
Fantastic guide! Followed it almost step by step except I had the amd stock cooler and a 3070 with some different fans. Worked like a charm! Thank you
Nice work!
if you dont mind me asking which 3070 did you have? im planning on getting one but dont know if itll fit
@@Sinister4202 I think it has 330mm of GPU clearance so even 3 slot cards will fit.

yea i headed to the comments to see if anyone else noticed it was warped
Except for the accent, the tone of voice reminds me of my old art teacher. Soothing lol
