Superb demonstration of how to build a pc with the NR200. This has sort of become my go-to video to fall asleep to, something about that calm voice and accent that has cured my insomnia. Have also become pretty decent with building the first 10 - 20% of a pc 🙃
Want to thank you for all the detailed work and knowledge. In particular your reference to Gamernexus video on AIOs. Seems like you’ve done your home work but I’m not sure on how exact you mounted the radiator. Are your Radiator hoses crossed ?
I’ve already purchased all the parts in the video so I would be following this guide to a T just not sure about this Radiator inlet an outlet tube orientation
Just for 24 pin did you take out psu? you kidding :) just take out ram damn it :) why every editor in the world put rams after cpu? why no one use them own brain but doing what it shown in the every build videos ever done :) you can put ram last. no one will die :) that way you can install all type cpu coolers, usb - sata speacily that brutal 24pin cables much much more easier. But every video ever have about pc building you must put ram's second after cpu :) i think just because they want to heard that click sound :)) great long videos by the way. also you can put sfx psu to sfx-l spot anyway. that will make open more space down for psu cables and gpu :)
Very cool thank you xx getting this card now as the Max doesn’t seem to be available in the UK, so will have to is Al the AIO, PSU, and do cable management myself haha x Is it not overkill to also have regular exhaust case fans, and an AIO? I want to just use an AIO 🤔
Hi Christopher, much appreciated if you could help me out to answer a couple of questions... Can the two vertical cooling fans mounted on the outside of the radiator? Meaning in a push configuration. With the vertical mounting bracket in place, will the glass panel fit?
Very excellent video. Thank you so much for such a thorough and easily digestable tutorial. I just finished my 3rd build in the NR200P thanks to your help! The only thing I would have appreciated a little more would have been maybe some cable-management strategies; but I understand that would probably extend the length of the video significantly. It took a lot of work to fit my EVGA 3070ti XC3 in because the cables out of the PSU are pretty much directly in the way of the card due to its length. I managed to squeeze it all in, with only a little forced sag on the GPU and some clever arrangement of the AIO tubes. Thanks again and keep up the awesome work!!
I had trouble with my EVGA 3070 XC3 - the same problem! The power cables come right out into the space where the GPU is, and cause a little downward pressure. I'm thinking about putting in some kind of support stand. Folks 3D print them or make them out of legos haha. A little sag isn't supposed to be harmful, but over time (years) I hear it can bend the GPU which can cause issues down the line. Edit: Alternatively, you can use neoprene weather stripping stuck onto the end, a furniture pad, all manner of choices! Putting a fan underneath the end of the gpu also helps close the gap + makes it easy to stick a support between where the edge of the fan and the edge of the GPU meet.
Im transferring my current pc to a NR200P with a glass panel but the way you install it the AIO fans aren't showing. Is there a way to face the fans towards the glass so I can see them?
No, he puts the m2 drive the wrong way. The stand off in the middle should have been removed. You can see closely the that the SSD bends as you screw it in and this can damage it.
hi. thank you for your amazing guide about this build. i want to recreate the same build. but i have one problem. my motherboard (aorus x570i ) haven't the pump_header. just one cpu fan_header and one sys-fan_header. in this very same build (same cooler , same case fans ) where do i have to put the 3pin power connector pump wire coming from the aio pump? can i use a molex to connect the pump directly to the psu? do i need a splitter to connect radiator fans and pump connector in the only cpu-fan_header on my mobo? PLESE HELP ME XD. and thank you so much for this video
For the RTX 30 triple slot GPUs, do you think bottom fans will have to be removed to fit them? I’m having a hard time understanding where the fan, cpu fan and pump headers are and if I’ll need a splitter or a fan hub to fit in 4 fans since the bottom ones will most probably be removed to accommodate gpu. Your guides are by far the best and give me confidence to try my first build on my own. Hopefully you cover the SSUPD Meshlicious as well.
Just want to say a BIG thank you for this. First time sff builder here and this was exactly the kind of video I needed showing the step by step process. Just a bit of feedback though. I'm not sure if it's my phone or my tablet (iPad pro IPS screen and an amoled screen on a sung) but even with the brightness cranked all the way up on both of them it was really hard to make out some of the dark sections like how you were cable managing the psu cables. I ended up having to download your video and tweaking the contrast so that I could actually make out some of the details. not sure if I'm the only one who had this issue. Basically the black sections felt like "crushed blacks" where I couldn't make out the details. Excellent stuff though man. Really appreciate it
@@ChristopherFlannigan Thanks for replying. I've pre-ordered the case, but can't decide if I want the flexibility with 240mm or stick to 280mm and horizontal GPU.
I like the look of these cases. However, the cable management seems to be a headache. And, for me, when building a PC, cable management is often the most annoying part. Nice video and details as always.
Thanks for doing that, your guide is better than CoolerMaster's and they should hire you. Just a suggestion : maybe next time use the white version, it would be easier to see what gets plugged where.
im not new to PCs but its gonna be my first time building an ITX soon so its super helpful that u cover all the little issues that can arise when building in certain cases. most channels would never mention that its best to install the 24-pin and the cpu power first. u also go nice and slow and explain everything which makes it much easier to follow along.
I've been building for a couple of decades now, this will be the first SFF, specifically this case. Thoroughly enjoyed the video and highly recommend this to anybody thinking of doing their first build. A great pace, nothing rushed and extremely well presented.
@@ChristopherFlannigan that is true. I don’t see why you pay extra for the NR200P to run vented side panel and bottom mounted GPU, as the extra 120mm have are only ok. Also I don’t understand why you get riser cable with NR200P as side mounted GPU with TG side panel is not good for GPU thermals.
