When it comes to these builds, I would love to see temperatures for the GPU and CPU in stock (no overclocking) so we can see how cool it get while on Idle & Load.
This is a geniously designed case in many levels. You build is as you go, making placing components and pluging in tiny connectors a dream. It has modularity built in with those holes. Hopefully cooler master makes replacement panels to customize the case. Also, the shipping footprint is tiny, they can ship more cases and have more stock in stores.
If IKEA did PC cases! Am glad to see there weren't pieces left over at the end of the build! Exceptional video as always Matt. Keep up the excellent work.
Seriously the Qube by other youtubers doesn't look as good as yours..👍 and really alot of work in your videos when you record in different places, different angles.💯
Fantastic! Build Matt, I do indeed like this chassis :-). Dang! that air flow is some thing else. The smoke just bellowed out of every orifice during the visualization test. Possibly one of the better air flow chassis I've seen to date. Muchly enjoyed all content as always. Your creativity never ceases to amaze! Cheers - Jass & Jacqui E.
I don't know when I'll build another PC but I love this build, especially the case. I like that there are 3D prints that you can add to the holes in this case. When I do rebuild my PC this is the case I'm going to use.
Really intrigued by the potential of that case, easy to build in, easy to use as a test bench, customisable. yea, flatpack to reduce shipping volume so a bit kinder to the planet. And the story of the build so nicely told.
Just built a system with this case and am very happy with it. The instructions are a bit scattered but far from as bad as some youtubers say, and honestly, if you can't build a case this simple, you might want to give a second thought about building your own system. The design, materials, paint and fit quality are excellent. It's compact and has huge breathing room (it's 07/07/2024 and mine already came with the higher flow dust filters). I did purchase fans for the bottom of the case to make it a positive pressure chamber. After my experience I bought three more for systems I'm building. If you want a very compact full ATX case with great configuration flexibility, I'd highly recommend the Qube 500.
It is a great successor of Cooler Master MasterBox Q500L case, that solve it biggest issue - unable to setup long PSU with modern video cards longer than 360mm.
I think it's not a coincidence.. Want to build my first PC after around 20 years and I came across this case this morning. My first thought was you Mr Matt Lee. How would you build it? Just to come home to see this video :) Awesome as always, truly appreciate your work.. everything is so clean and pleasing to watch. Thank you!
Welcome to the club. I am in the exact same boat. I built one PC for my son about 3 years ago. Side note, I’ve been a Mac user since 1987 and I’ve come to the gradual realization that apple now builds needlessly closed hardware which put me on the fence. Since discovering this channel I took the leap and am now in the midst of buying parts to build a replica of this machine. This love this build.
I can't recall the channel name but they suggested a new mesh design to help thermals on this case and CoolerMaster gave thanks and promised they will release a better one, as an owner of the previous Q300L I have my doubts about airflow as I had to cut the fans area of metal to improve my thermals
Edit: cybernetics gave this PSU a very good review. I wonder if a better choice for the PSU could have been considered. My concern is that this PSU already has a fine mesh for intake, which may put more strain on its fan compared to other PSUs with a more open vent. Combined with the QUBE 500’s many small air passages, this could potentially increase the PSU fan speed, leading to more noise. Nevertheless, I believe this is a good PSU overall, and as always, this build is beautiful. I’m trying to build something similar while keeping budget constraints in mind.☕️🖤
Hey! I also bought and built that case. Awesome experience! I used a 240 AIO instead of an air cooler though. Tried to fit a 280, but didn't work out because the radiator was bumping into the PSU and I decided to abort that experiment. Anyway, any specific reason why you went with an air cooler? Can you please share your CPU Package temperatures while playing? Also, any reason why you used 120 fans instead of 140? The case seems to support the slightly bigger diameter. Thanks a lot and keep it up! 👍
befor some weeks i looked for a new itx case i see some of the flatpacked cases is was thinking nice idea and then i see the aerocool dryft v2 and a was thinking sytle over footprint! :D
With that many meshes, I'm surprised it gets air at all haha. It's a cool case, but is it not important to have a through-and-through path for air with air cooled towers?
Not sure I like that PSU position/fan placement combination. Would be very interested in seeing benchmarks of this build in this case vs. a more standard case design. I feel this build would restrict the airflow of the CPU and cause throttling under heavy load. Great video as always. I'm kind of annoyed how the screws provided were different colours. They should have included black screws for everything. A miss there cooler master.
Lets therapy begins. Mr Matt Lee my non official therapist :D We are love you my friend. Thank you so much for video and by the way after this video i start digging the Qube 500 :D If i get bored soon from my Asus TUF Gaming GT502 i can go with this compact case. Thank you again.
i think a modern case should have the motherboard outputs facing downward on top of the psu...... also 140mm fans... tried a ton of itx stuff and everything below 140 gets loud!
Greetings Mr. Matt Lee, please will you have the measurements of the packaging where the case comes from? to be able to calculate the freight, Thank you.
nice build! well done as always! btw what do you think about the relative new fans Be Quiet! Silent Wings 4 Pro? only seen them in one of your builds when you did the h7 build with a rx 7900xt spec. also those fans comes with 3 def corners. what corners would you recommand front and back of the case
Thanks ✌️ I shoot the entire cinematic b-roll handheld. The only part using a slider is the wide desk setup for consistency in every video 😊 I find the more gear you use, the longer the filming process takes and the less productive you are. 10 years of filming supercars taught me that haha
Edit: looks like a DeepCool FH-04. Can someone please confirm if at precisely 7:27 (you’ll need to pause) a fan hub is positioned to the far right edge of the back of the machine? It has what I believe are 4 PWM cables feeding into it. The ‘hub’ is rectangular and has a strong specular highlight that should help you identify it. As far as I was able to learn, the QUBE 500 doesn’t ship with a fan hub and am wondering which one I should buy as it’s not listed in the BOM listed in the video’s description.
Excellent concept. Love the small footprint and want to see more cases accept ATX boards but be smaller footprint with no compromise. Would love to see optional panels, handles, I/O positions, etc. I like the aesthetic. Cable management looks adequate. Downsides.... Cooler Master needs to fix Airflow on this case. Overpowering it by adding all the fans that do not come with it isn't a great option considering you may spend as much on fans as you did the case. Should come with a second handle XD.
I did not see any dampening material besides the gummy pads on the fans. Screwing metal on metal with all those vibrations, you are going to expect a lot of noise after a few weeks of use... It would be nice to have a long term / real world review. But it's going to be hard to have a regular PC user to daily-drive it and then upload a video.
Wow... this case is something else. About time we see some innovation in the PC space
I agree with this 🖤
That case is so hot…. My jonsbo D31 is dead to me now.
First thing I thought too..modular PC case now that changes things up. Might be too complicated for the less savvy but options for those who can.
Would like to see the InWin Dubili, it’s also a flat-pack case! The gold color could go very nicely with Noctua.
That Airflow Visualisation fascinates me every time! never gets old. Mr Matt Lee is SERIOUSLY underrated on RUclips I hope you get to 500k++ subs.
It's a q500l with different panels, same concept. Cooler master did it many times ago.
If IKEA did PC cases! Am glad to see there weren't pieces left over at the end of the build! Exceptional video as always Matt. Keep up the excellent work.
I build my own gaming PCs since 1994 and this, I find to be absolutely acceptable, thank you.
I believe the process of putting together this build was quite fun!
The concept of this case is really very interesting.
We don't say it enough, but the surface of your bench desk is incredible.
This sound at 04:49 oh...
Seriously the Qube by other youtubers doesn't look as good as yours..👍 and really alot of work in your videos when you record in different places, different angles.💯
That’s quite a statement! Thanks so much 😁🖤
Fantastic! Build Matt, I do indeed like this chassis :-). Dang! that air flow is some thing else. The smoke just bellowed out of every orifice during the visualization test. This case is so exciting. So innovative and the look is just killer.

Thanks for this amazing video! I really enjoyed the air visualization feature!
Really intrigued by the potential of that case, easy to build in, easy to use as a test bench, customisable. yea, flatpack to reduce shipping volume so a bit kinder to the planet. And the story of the build so nicely told.
Currently using the Q500L (mod) its the best cheap, compact and versatile ATX case IMO. This new Qube 500 is an upgrade for sure!
Absolutely loved this case, and this build overall.
thanks for the airflow visual, that was my main concern since its pretty small for an atx case
Good video as always. Aesthetically pleasing!
Nevermind the awesome build, I enjoyed the quality of this video!

Hi i want to start my own homelab for simple stuff and i have an atx motherboard laying around. Does this case has a decent amount of 3.5 hd slots ?
Sooner or later we will learn how to build our own PC cases and I love it
The jigsaw puzzle case 🤣 thanks for another great video!
Coolermaster PSU's don't seem to get as much love as they used to. Great build!
I am using a ZAKU II limited edition case with all the limited edition stuff inside and I love it.
It is a great successor of Cooler Master MasterBox Q500L case, that solve it biggest issue - unable to setup long PSU with modern video cards longer than 360mm.
The production is excellent. Love it ❤❤

let us know about your build when it's done
Do it, but be warned, after you build it you would want to build another, lol. It's addicting to build one

Marvellous build as always ~ Great one!
love the "linus hipster" look.

I like your studio and also prefer non-RGB stealth builds, no frills, no glass...
Tweezers will help you. Respect for the video.
I know I know 😅 in the moment it’s hard to get past the frustration though haha thanks for dropping by ✌️✌️
So many better cases out there.
Gonna order one of these boxes after Christmas

How are your temps with the mesh in place? I am also thinking of getting a 240 aio for this
great video excellent work on computer editing quality precision....👌👌👍👍
thats clean 🔥🔥
Loving those black and blue vibes 🖤💙
Cool case❤
Beautiful case from cooler master..❤❤❤
Looks great, I've seen versions that had the mounting screws on the glass which was the only thing I didn't like, they seem to have changed that.
befor some weeks i looked for a new itx case i see some of the flatpacked cases is was thinking nice idea and then i see the aerocool dryft v2 and a was thinking sytle over footprint! :D
Performace Art!
A perfect build with 0 mistake 😊😊
With that many meshes, I'm surprised it gets air at all haha. It's a cool case, but is it not important to have a through-and-through path for air with air cooled towers?
Very nice Build
Very tempting setup, is there room for a couple of 2.5 ssd’s?
This helped a lot.. Thanks! What's that thing plugged into the USB port at 9:26?
It's a Cooler Master Oracle Air, an nvme ssd enclosure
Very interesting case, needs more effort assembling it.High video production value as always. Very nice.
I have this case. It supports ATX motherboard and PSU. I managed to mount my rtx 3080 strix vertically.
Not sure I like that PSU position/fan placement combination. Would be very interested in seeing benchmarks of this build in this case vs. a more standard case design. I feel this build would restrict the airflow of the CPU and cause throttling under heavy load.

Mr Matt Lee my non official therapist :D We are love you my friend. Thank you so much for video and by the way after this video i start digging the Qube 500 :D If i get bored soon from my Asus TUF Gaming GT502 i can go with this compact case. Thank you again.
Nice TUF build. Also with Tuf b550m/Tuf 3060ti here. Love the case but rgb on the TUF gpu does makes it rgb not no rgb.
Nice feels like built around MB.. but where is HDD bay ?
i think a modern case should have the motherboard outputs facing downward on top of the psu...... also 140mm fans... tried a ton of itx stuff and everything below 140 gets loud!
Ikea PC case! Take my money!
this case looks just like the q300l to me, but with a better psu location. hopefully it breathes a little better now.
Can I have this wallpaper Mr Lee? I think I'm in love...
I love this build❤
Greetings Mr. Matt Lee, please will you have the measurements of the packaging where the case comes from? to be able to calculate the freight, Thank you.
holy fuck this is gorgeous
nice build! well done as always! btw what do you think about the relative new fans Be Quiet! Silent Wings 4 Pro? only seen them in one of your builds when you did the h7 build with a rx 7900xt spec. also those fans comes with 3 def corners. what corners would you recommand front and back of the case
where did you get this wallpaper lik e damn thats so beatifull
Hey, awesome b-rolls. Do you use slider with pan head or gimbal for the shots?
Thanks ✌️ I shoot the entire cinematic b-roll handheld. The only part using a slider is the wide desk setup for consistency in every video 😊 I find the more gear you use, the longer the filming process takes and the less productive you are. 10 years of filming supercars taught me that haha
Really cool 😉
10:30 "Finger Failure" LMAO
THANK YOU!!!
What an awesome video! But can u tell me where I can find the used wallpaper?
Hello, good video, I liked the quality, do you think it has space for the COOLER COOLER MASTER AIR MA824 STEALTH?
Psu blocking air flow...nice
ATX NR200 , NICE
Hi, it's not the prettiest case but it can be useful as a benchmark table for beginners !!
Where do you get that nice background wallpaper?
Great job! Can I hire you to build one for me?
Edit: looks like a DeepCool FH-04. Can someone please confirm if at precisely 7:27 (you’ll need to pause) a fan hub is positioned to the far right edge of the back of the machine? You haven't flip your screw driver :o But amazing video as always!
Nope! I swapped it out for a knife this time 🫡
A newbie question. If the two lower fans introduce air, doesn't it create conflict with the GPU fan/s?
I’m literally sooo close to finishing my build, I literally need an GPU (RX 7800XT) then it’s complete.
How's the airflow on this? I heard from other reviews that the include mesh panels really suck for letting air through.
Will you do custom loop build?
I will be having a big anxiety for that PSU over the GPU.
other wise the case is cool.
After Watching some Videos and noticed the Asus TUF line up on AMD...I wanted to Order up a RX 7800xt and they are All Sold out everywhere...
please do the phanteks nv7 and their d30 fans
Wait. Does the power supply vent into the casee? That can’t be right.
Where you find your songs matt ...?
Qube 500 is compatibl with progekt zero? Or no cables matherbords?
You are the Goat 🐐
Perfect for building PCs or storing fresh fish.
防塵果然做得好👍👍👍👍
What PSU custom cables did you use?
Excellent concept. Love the small footprint and want to see more cases accept ATX boards but be smaller footprint with no compromise. What camera was this filmed on plz?
whats the music at the beginning of the video ?
What's the cooling performance on this case if I may ask because the previous iterations have horrible ratings for cooling.
Knew it.... Btw great build. ❤
You totally knew it 😅 glad you enjoyed the video.
Case price shipping to Brazil US$ 354,13!!!!
I did not see any dampening material besides the gummy pads on the fans.
Screwing metal on metal with all those vibrations, you are going to expect a lot of noise after a few weeks of use...
It would be nice to have a long term / real world review.

is it space for Thermalright Frost Commander 140? cpu cooler
