Later Prosciutto gets too confident and is thrown out of the train with Bucciarati, but Pesci saves him. In the end Pesci is brutally destroyed, Bucciarati turns back to end it all with Prosciutto, only for him to be dead, having lost all hope after realizing Pesci after all his hard work, could not complete his mission.
The fact that Bucciarati didn’t get restored until after Pesci was dead does suggest Prosciutto was still alive until that point. Which means he saw Pesci’s downfall, but didn’t give up until the very end.
4:51- it’s similar to The Emperor as it’s an object shaped Stand made of the same energy that Stands are; thus appearing/disappearing/reappearing when needed/not needed. It also explains why it has abilities that a normal object wouldn’t be able to do, even if it’s a Stand bound to an object; for example, its hook and rod being able to both reflect attacks/repel damage via recoil, complete object control, low inter spatial travel to go through any surface, life energy detection and insert itself under the skin to do internal damage.

beach boy vs superfly oh god imagine that, pesci throws a punch at the tower and pulls out his stand and surrounds himself in the fishing line, the damage just endlessly reflects back between beach boy and superfly.
Well, pesci would win because the line of beach boy doesn't break or even get strained when its attacked, while superfly took very visible damage from josuke and okayasu when they laid the beatdown on it
Honestly I wanted Pesci to win in his duel w/ Buccariati. He was honestly just as developed a character and zipper boy at that point, and was determined until the very end to complete his mission, despite the death of his best friend and brother-figure.
I loved it when you connected the stand with the band, as an avid beach boys fan I noticed a few things while reading the arc -Pesci says he can pick up the vibrations of the fishing rod. Which is most likely a reference to the beach boys hit ‘good vibrations’ which in the chorus literally says “I’m picking up good vibrations” -The stand itself could have been somewhat of an allegory for the beach boys themselves, as it’s been stated a lot of critics didn’t take them seriously because of their unprofessional name, despite later on making on of the most influential albums of all time (Pet Sounds)
I love Beach Boy because it is laughably ridiculous stand, but also extremely terrifying. It was funny to see how among the robot knight, fire chicken, psychic vines and other creative designs for stands, Hol Horse's stand was just a gun. It was even brought back in part 4, were Super Fly was just a radio tower. But even after having seen those stands, seeing a fishing rod as a stand was pretty ridiculous, yet the way Beach Boy works makes my skin crawl. Just imagining a fishing hook swimming through your body and hooking onto your internal organs creeps me out.
I can never look at pesci ever again without bursting into laughter because of one debate that lead to one joke scene that left most of us dead of laughter. The debate was of what minor antagonist would win a last man standing free for all. And we joke about pesci hooking Santana with beach bly and swinging him like the head of a flail into the nearby characters to instakill them before becoming buff from swinging him around. He then used the newfound buffness to throw magent magent over the horizon to eliminate him via ring out.
Beach Boy is in the same category of stand as Hol Horse's Emperor. Also, I feel like categorizing them as "non-bound tool stands" is probably the most accurate, as Hot Pants's cream starter could be seen as a bound tool stand, as it's bound to a physical object.
@@Lavender_Fox yes, but the spraying power is from the sprays, not her.
