More like OUR PART because Bruno is like the leader and the one to guide his team to glory, and Giorno is keeping this whole team together by supporting people figuratively and literally by healing their wounds so they can take down the boss. It's like a pair of shoes, you need both to be supportive for your outfit to work properly. (Ok bad metaphor but still)
I mean, all diavolo had to do is act natural and after Bruno had left all he’d have to do is kill her and in so destroy the last piece of his past life and any evidence to his identity.
Sticky Fingers is the perfect stand ability for bucciarati. It's very versatile and applicable but it also fits thematically, as he is the one who provided a door to his members when there was none. For Giorno, he provided a way into Passione but for the others, he gave them a chance to do something with their lives, instead of staying locked up in a horrible life by fate.
@elchema that's a good link I hadn't considered. As for reaching, it's arguable, though even if it wasn't intended, doesn't mean the interpretations and subtext aren't there
I'd figured Giorno's GE provided the "life energy" needed to keep himself going, but it was only because Bruno WANTED to keep going, to remain with and lead his team, and work towards defeating the Boss, that he was able to come back. Like Okuyasu in Part 4; He dies, and is soon after healed/ has life restored to his body, but they only come back to life after THEY decide to return. In both cases, the Stand provided the necessary restorations to the body and gave the means for the person to return to life, the Stand is the means, but it's only because the person being restored had the will to return, to use those means, that they actually come back. It also lines up with grandpa Josuke at the start of Part 4, who's old, lacks a Stand, and was probably just content to accept that he'd died and it was time to move on- he'd lived a good long life already after all.
Essentially because of Bruno’s will he was able to return to his body, but Giorno repaired his wounds so he could stay in it, and giving him the energy to as well
Bruno is just one of these characters that bring me so much comfort and whenever I feel not thst great I just go back to him and maybe read a fanfic or two about him. Can't even really explain why, he definitely has this warm yet deadly feel about him and just seems like he would be a great friend.

Man... Imagine in the final chapters, Bruno actually survived and stayed in Diavolo's body He will automatically be the boss, adopt Trish, and give his last position to Giorno That's the best ending for me
Meti, you’re kinda wrong about Bruno’s naming origin. Bruno is indeed named after cuccidati, but those cookies are also known as buccellati. Not only that, but Buccellati is a real Italian last name. There is, in fact, an Italian jewelry company that is named after the founders who’s surnames were Buccellati. So it is likely that in order to avoid legal issues with this store, Bruno’s surname had to be changed to Bucciarati instead. This is why I prefer calling him Buccellati, as it’s a real Italian last name and it fits with part 5’s naming theme of Italian food.
Yeah but his names bucciarati, just because you think his name should be buccellati, that doesn’t mean is is, also I think you’re wrong about changing his name due to copyright as you can’t copyright a regular human name because obviously you can’t make people change their names.
@@veggiemcburger905 That's not how it works... If I call my character Mickey Mouse I will get a copyright because they aren't people, they're a character. Mega yeah but that’s different obviously a name like Micky mouse can be copyrighted because it’s so specific and nobody has that name. However, you can’t copyright a name like John Smith because lots of people have that name and it’s so common, so you wouldn’t be able to copyright buccellati because that’s just a normal Italian last name. You could copyright jewellery stores named buccellati but not a character or persons name.
Mega also yes in Japanese they’re written the same but the creator said his name is bucciarati, not buccellati. My name is Jude and I pronounce it as jood which means my name is Jude, it’s not juhdeh, spelt Jude, which is something I actually had to tell someone. Also yes Micky mouse is copyright but calling a character Micky is allowed and so is calling a person’s last name mouse, just like how you can’t copyright a last name. My full name is Jude smith, that doesn’t mean I can copyright the name to be the only one.
I've never seen anyone mention that Bruno is extraordinarily intelligent and inquisitive, you can't really hide much from him, he can easily see into everyone, and that fits really well with the power of sticky fingers

Correction from an Italian guy: at 2:00 "brown sugar" should be translated as "zucchero di canna", as it is obtained from a plant commonly called "canna da zucchero" in Italian (something like "sugar cane", in English). We don't call it "zucchero marrone" or "zucchero di bruno". Also, the Sicilian sweets that act as his namesake are most likely called "buccellati", as his surname would sound when translitterated from Italian to Japanese. Isn’t “Buccellati” also an Italian jewelry brand? With Araki’s love of using Italian fashion labels, I always thought they kept it as “Bucciarati” as overly cautious copyright avoidance
@@Abdega Yes, it is! You are right on your money about the brand! I guess both would sound good for Bruno, seeing how most names in the gang are connected to food (Abbacchio, (N)arancia, Pannacotta...) but jewelry would be something Araki would use as well!
Bucciarati is probably one of the best characters in all JoJo series, along side F.F. and Gyro. Also, in my opinion, he is the real protagonist of Golden Wind.
Bucciarati is easily one of my favorite characters throughout the entire franchise and I'm thankful they got someone like Ray Chase to voice him in the dub. God tier delivery honestly. I think to one instance of just how powerful Bruno's will is during his fight with the boss. He's not only donuted but also carved from the shoulder down into his rib-cage (which, let's be honest, would kill someone straight out). He keeps on fighting despite his injuries to get Trish safe, using a moment of relief offered to him by Giorno's Gold Experience (where the boss is temporarily incapacitated) to make his internal fire burn brighter with Giorno's assistance egging him on to keep surviving, to get Trish out of there. When he finally gets to where Giorno is, he can let his body give out. Knowing that he can't just leave behind his crew in the uncertainty of what the Boss could do to them let alone Trish, he returns once more through that immense willpower. His dead body becomes a vessel for the second leg of this journey, until he can confidently secure victory by one final sacrifice and gift to Giorno in the arrow.
Imo Risotto and Bruno were different sides of the same coin. They both were powerful and inteligent stand users, both deeply cared about their companions, both behaved professionaly and were ready to make sacrifices. They just stood on different sides and used different methods.
I love Bruno and part 5 so much. I recently bought a fake Bucciarati statue pen as a joke but honestly I’m probably going to use it for my final exams this year just to flex lol
Something that deserves a mention, I think, is how the theme of fate is explored through the three main characters of part 5, Giorno, Bruno and Diavolo. Giorno fight fate to become the leader of Paccione, Bruno accepts his fate as a living corpse and member of an organisation he hates, and Diavolo flee his fate with King Crimson and the murder of his child.
One detail is how little Bruno's clothing sense changed. It's like keeping his childhood in the fishing village with his father that was abruptly cut short by Paolo witnessing a drug deal close to his heart, so he never forgets who he is, and why he's doing so.
Personally I think Bucciarati is actually descended from the Zeppeli bloodline. I mean, he's Italian, places a great deal on the ideals of family, is very righteous and have sacrificed himself to allow the Part's Jojo to win. Also I want to point about that Caesar from Part 2 did have a couple sisters so if one got married she would have change her name, so there is a reason why Bucciarati could be Zeppeli despite not having the same name.
Random Questions If Giorno met Hermes in Part 6 does anyone think he could have her replicate his requiem arrow? If so what would happen if stabbed a stand/stand user with the copy and then removed the sticker?
Well, they’ll lose their power, that’s it and of course damaged by the sticker as well Happened to Silver Chariot And Giorno removed the requiem arrow from his stand as well after beating the boss

@@hatster401 he stopped doing that at like around part 4, so no Araki does plan ahead, it's no wonder part 5 feels 100% more cohesive and well-structured than the previous one
I like to think Bruno came back for both reasons. His dad willed himself to live cause he never died. I think that Giorno healed his body, but since Bruno was already dead, as opposed to his father who was just in critical condition, he was only able to get a few extra days. I think it reinforces the concept that the gang needs each other to thrive.
I have never liked a video any faster. Before Part 5 started airing, I had no idea I would become so obsessed with Bruno. He's my favorite character now! I love Mom so much 😄
The only thing I wish would have happened upon Bruno’s death is that for GER/GWR to have a single zipper. And perhaps whenever his abilities activate, a faint zipper could be heard. Just like Star Platinum merged with The World, and Killer Queen merged with that cat stand, GR/GW merged with Sticky Fingers.
1:36 There's also an Italian jewelry company called Buccellati, founded in 1919; the patterns on the jewelry are pretty similar to the patterns on Bucciarati's clothing
My personal theory is that because Giorno punched him with Golden Experience's ability, he was already kind of used to the out of body experience and when Giorno healed him, he was able to actually recall his soul to his body in the same way.
Bruno coming back was bcuz both his resolve and Giorno's power. Because because Gio healed him, his vessel/body is safe to be used once more, and since he has the resolve to come back, he did.
I think Bruno came back from the dead due to Golden Experience giving his body life but also because he wished to and GE was the one to open that possibility.
I hope we get a jjba spinoff in which we hear the story about the crew who discovered the asteroid with the stand arrows, who got that virus thing that gave them stands
Holy crap, for years I've been calling stuff brucellati whenever I mean straciatella ice cream. Somehow these two names just cross over in my brain and I always thought that Bruno's suit is supposed to look like straciatella Im so dumb

My husband finally got an episode
Husband or pimp?
That’s up to interpretation
Oh, you're Abbacchio?
OUR husband
oh.
As a guy who grew up without a dad, I would like Bucciarati to be my dad
I have never liked a video any faster. Before Part 5 started airing, I had no idea I would become so obsessed with Bruno. He's my favorite character now! I love Mom so much 😄
Fuck, Bruno's arc always makes me teary-eyed
This is a great analysis. You understand Bruno and what makes him so compelling
I find it really amazing that now you also breaks down their outfits. Your content only gets better with time, love it.
1:36 There's also an Italian jewelry company called Buccellati, founded in 1919; the patterns on the jewelry are pretty similar to the patterns on Bucciarati's clothing
Bucciarati is my favorite character out of the entire series.
Diavolo: haha i killed you bruno
Bucciarati: ligma ballz *respawns*
But most importantly, in the charismatic capo calmly carrying his crew through catastrophe: Zipper man I MEAN ahem
Sticky Fingers
Ah yes, the protagonist of part 5.
*deuteragonist
@@AmelpsXett 2nd Protaganist
@@xxDxxism he's a protagonist for a short time
"Get your fingers sticky..." everyday we stray further from heaven
"As the man who he thought he had killed came back"
So..
u mean Bruno
or do you mean Polnareff?^^
What an awesome synergy in characters
Bucciarati is legit my 3rd favourite jojo character and sticky fingers is my favourite stand ever
Bruno is my favorite character in Golden Wind. Without a doubt. I love him.
Helluva Birthday Gift, Meti. Thanks as I turn 22 Today
Happy birthday
FINALLY THANK YOU IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR WHAT BRUNO's CONNECTION TO BROWN SUGAR IS
Fun fact : the episode where diavolo dies is literally the song epitaph by king crimson.
When are we getting the Glory of Mineta? Asking for a friend.
DedGuysRule never
At this pace, Mineta will probably get a video before Reimi does
I was so sad when it was time to say arrivederci
My personal theory is that because Giorno punched him with Golden Experience's ability, he was already kind of used to the out of body experience and when Giorno healed him, he was able to actually recall his soul to his body in the same way.
What a surprise
That's the distinct tang of a Jotuber.
RIGHT, METI METIVANNA?!
This video: Family is sacred to Bruno
me: so is Dom Torreto a JoJo reference too now?
The real Glory is Ray Chase's acting for Bruno
2:06
Life has many doors, ed boy.
I hope we get a jjba spinoff in which we hear the story about the crew who discovered the asteroid with the stand arrows, who got that virus thing that gave them stands
Mother of the century
Holy crap, for years I've been calling stuff brucellati whenever I mean straciatella ice cream. Somehow these two names just cross over in my brain
and I always thought that Bruno's suit is supposed to look like straciatella
Im so dumb
15:25 ...that was a clean segue
I've been waiting years for this moment, and you didn't dissapoint me at all 💜
Gotta love the reference to the Atom Bomb adult swim bump at 0:33 . Great video !
I would argue that Bruno's out fit is also based on the out fit that Freddie mercury wore in the bohemian rhapsody video.
i love your videos so much
I've been watching your videos for about 3 years now. I'm proud to say that I watched Simoneta today!
I feel like you violated me with this anime.
It was pretty good, thanks!
"What a surprise! This is a distinct tang of a liar, right giorno giovanna?
