I also suffer from this problem. I'm sure of it. I always get itchy skin that just comes on really quick ,but it's really itchy but it doesn't usually last long. I even get red blotches and hot spots. My dog also gets hot spots I can feel on her body. Especially when we are in a high 5 gee reception area. My heart is beating so slowly and I can feel every beat prominently. Headaches, nausea, stomach aches, dizzy spells when I stand, very low blood pressure. Memory problems, which is why I don't remember all the symptoms!
My symptoms are/were irritability and tingling burning sensation all over my body. No rashes, redness or post nasal drip. Hard exercise, coffee and alcohol would trigger my symptoms. After years of struggling, I started TRT and all my symptoms stopped.
@@swintegrative not at all my experience at all. I had very intense adverse reactions to exercise that made me very depressed, irritable and frustrated. It would literally last for 2-3 days. WhenI read about Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, it was the only description of my symptoms that even came close to describing what I experienced. The difficulty in explaining my experience is that physicians don’t believe it because they can’t see it or measure it. Even you are downloading my lived experience which is sad. It seems like you don’t even believe I had MCAS or that TRT could solve my symptoms. I have read studies that testosterone does counteract histamine. MCAS is exercise induced and very much influenced by hormones which TRT completely helps with.
Nah i just didn’t realize the magnitude from what u said originally. You can’t tell what is going on w someone from a few sentences. Certainly though, I have not seen testosterone treat mast cell issue. That said it doesn’t mean it didn’t for you. Lots and lots of things we don’t know about the human body. I learn things daily that surprise me. Thanks for sharing 👍
@@swintegrative my pleasure. I believe my underlying issue was low testosterone, which is a hormone imbalance. It caused depression and MCAS. I think more men should be tested for low testosterone.
I’ve suffered with asthma since my early teens, then in my late fourties I started having unusual swelling in my hands, toes , eyes , but usually my lips , tongue but sometimes my throat. Now have digestive issues. And heartburn. Just been told I have diverticulitis. What’s up with the rise of autoimmune diseases.
Good question, linked with or associated with more sterile developmental environments and more environmental toxins but I don’t think there is a definitive answer on that one.
My Dad was diagnosed with diverticulitis and chronic fatigue, but in his 60's it was revised to coeliacs... Lots of false negatives are common with the coeliac testing... Just thought it might be helpful for you to know as the dietary treatments of each don't swap out for the other very well... The misdiagnosis probably made the coeliac disease worsen!
Good luck trying to find a GP that has any idea about this, or if they do they will be trying to keep the problem hidden. As what is the solution except for to get away from this environment into heavy forest area or somewhere not covered with all these EMF's.
Personally I am going to be attempting to somehow soothe my overactive vagus nerve system as I believe that is what is causing the extreme immune response (I get hives, itchy hands and feet and also have bradycardia amongst other weird symptoms). I may sound crazy but I believe it has either been damaged on one side of my body or irritated possibly by my poor posture. Give it 6-12 months I’ll report back 😄🤌🏻
I drank a cup of tea that had ragweed in it(echinacea) last friday, today is Tuesday. Ive had hives for the past 4 days, when would you say i should be seeing some sort of decline in the mast cell activation on this? Thank you for explaining this
@@swintegrative its weird because during the day ill have little to no symptoms, small hives here and there but then at night when i lay down ill have giant hives all over my arms, legs, back, chest. This has never happened before until i drank that cup of tea. Im not giving up hope of course because i can still breath completely fine and i dont feel sick at all. Its literally just my body breaking out as if its trying to fight something off when im just trying to sleep. Its insane
Do you know the only solution I have come up with. It depends how bad you suffer but living off grid away from mobile phone coverage or at least out of the city where it isn't as bad. Forested areas are the best as trees tend to shield you from it. (Thick forest). I really want to do this as I suffer so much from it, but at the same time have mobility issues so I don't know how I'd manage alone.
I thought I was just falling apart/slowly dying so thanks for making me feel like it’s not all in my head!
Good glad it was helpful
I’m there with you 🤗

Well that’s great for you, maybe u just had some mild inflammation that the testosterone helped reduce.

What kind of doctor am I looking for to help me with Mast Cell Activation?

Yeah, they just act like you are crazy
How do you get it under control?
Usually you need to find a doctor that specializes in this but finding the cause of immune activation is key.

Thank you Dr Terranella. My son has had canker sores for years. Might it be due to mast cell activation?
That’s not a classic symptom. Check out my video on mast cell activation syndrome symptoms.

Hi Isaiah, that's not easy to say with the information you provided. Hives and similar skin reactions can vary a lot.
