I use them last year. Worked great smoked a doe at 20yrds she ran 30yrds and was done. But i took them off the shaft and heat treated and tempered them 500’ then resharpened em And did wonders. Will use them again this year
They are not the best the tonto heads on some aren’t perfect but you can get them way sharper and cleaner edges after heat treated and a oil temper cool down you’ll notice the difference in the steel rock harness after this step. I also used red lock tight on the screws after realigning them to sit straight as possible in the shaft.
Yea I meant to say that in the video. The actual fj2s have a nasty Tonto at the points. I feel like they fly a little better too. But you know as well ad I do. These are right there with them if we are being honest.
Lol sorry, forgot to do the description. I suck haha. Here's the ones I used in the vid. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09H45JPWC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You seem like a proud American(could be wrong) I don’t understand why you would promote a Chinese product that is blatantly ripping off an American made product/company. If you want to shoot Chinese that’s fine lots of products are made in China but to promote a Chinese product that’s ripping off an American company? I can’t get down with that. I understand times are tough but there’s PLENTY of other options that are cheaper and not ripping off an American company.
If you can afford a bow, arrow, tree stand, all of the other equipment…you can spend a few extra bucks on a pack of broadheads… wasp darts $34 for a 3 pack that comes with extra blades and American made! We have other options guys
Well I hesitated to even release this video. But let's be honest, people have had bows from years ago. Doesn't mean they can afford it this year. I understand your frustration. But it is what it is.
@@Huntfishtrap2121 I mean I kind of get where you are coming from but you may want to do some research on our American hunting companies. Very few are 100% American because it is easier to source products from somewhere else. I'll give you an example at hand, most likely this broadhead company the fj2 most likely sources there materials from China. That's why this broadhead exists, because they are the same thing.
Most "American Made" brands source materials and parts from China and only piece it together here. Also, not everyone can afford the higher cost of American made goods when the Chinese counterpart are several-fold cheaper.

How was the blood trail? Did the broadhead leave a lot of blood on the ground?
Thanks I am retired on a tight budget. I will try them. You can re temper the metal if needed.
I feel that. I have a ton of extra broadheads if you need some let me know.
That would be a great option for a traditional bow.
Yes it would
Looks like a nice budget broadhead. What unit of measurement are you using on the scale
Grains, yea they're solid
@SouthernDrawTN wow I never seen a scale that dies grains
No link 😢

The FJ 4 cost around $70 for 3. Ridiculous IMO
Then don’t buy them…
@@Huntfishtrap2121 I’m not!
Yea, that's why I shared this. All single bevels are 50 bucks or more.
Try the crimson talon cleavers. Less than $35 shipped to my house.
@malcolmjohnson5941 I'm going to check those out when I get paid. They look really good. Thanks for sharing.

And I am a proud American. I served 8 years. This is just a broadhead. But again, I understand your point.
