Yes! You inspired me to start one. It was 60 gallons and had breeding bettas, guppies, and so many plants. I’m getting ready to move though so everything has come down.
I got some rechargeable, submersible leds and they’re amazing! I originally bought ones run by battery but the remote sucked and they went through batteries really quickly. The new ones that are rechargeable are amazing and bright, and even have a timer!
‘’Complete nightmare…I’m super happy with everything.” Okay, so I edited. The quote is still perfect!! Love your content. If you have time, what is the”grass” in the back of the mini pond at 8:20. That’s good looking stuff
thanks for the reply! for me, it is a bit of an issue regardless of the apparent effects. science shows that genetic variability is key for long term wellbeing, so why not just do it as a matter of course. anyways, my 2 cents :)@@AQUAPROS
I mean, ya I agree, just seems hard to avoid especially when the source of em prolly inbreeds the heck out of them. with specific stains that not many places have, its kinda impossible...@@filiplazz
So I had a patio bowl that was going well in backyard . Had guppy and danios . Was getting lots of sun so decided to move it to from porch . Now all my fish are gone . Water is way more clear and no algae which is the only good thing . Anyone have any problem with maybe birds or something else eating fish out of a patio bowl ?
You definitely need a cover, I had some chicken wire left over and just place it on top to protect them. I put a camera out there to see what’s going on and there’s been many animal visitors so I’m glad I put the cover on
Love your pond videos! Love your videos in general - but the pond ones are so inspiring!
Thanks! You got any ponds????

very nice, keep it up
re-release? I don't mind, I'll watch again.
Just tryin something out, thanks bruhhh!
how do you aerate the water?
Do you aireate your ponds? Love the idea of using a planter!!
No aeration, not really nessesary for just a few fish ;)
I only use plastic patio bowls. Ceramic pots could have a toxic lead glaze.
so if you let them lay eggs in the pond will any babies survive?
where do you get your planters? I can't find any big enough
Just gotta hit up lowes or home depot, local places can have em too... maybe a few options on amazon?
No filtration in the ponds?
Hello, tell me the name of the algae, which ones do you use?
what do you do to avoid interbreeding?
nothing at this point, if it becomes an issue next year Ill just get some additional adults. Not sure if it will be a problem tho, time will tell
