Really love your pond videos! It helped me pull the trigger on setting up my first mini pond 😁. I have a second one i plan to set up in the spring and hope to add a colony of green neocaridina and rice fish. My current pond has orange medaka and mutt guppies and the guppies are going strong!

Back in the lab coat! Underwater footage is so cool! What was the average temperature over the summer? We are in a heat wave in the south.

Avg temp in the dayvwas def mid 80s, night time prolly mid to low 70s. We had a couple really hot weeks, i clocked one of em at 95, fish were fine, no airstone!

I have to keep outdoor varieties of fish, and use an air pump for winter to stop the water freezing into a block. I like the little barrels -- if I could find a cheap source for them it would be a profitable venture to make these to sell at farmer's markets. Like the videos.

    • @AQUAPROS

good call with the airstone, that would def work for some people!

Wow, your doors look really good. I think that was worth all the time and effort. It makes the room in the outside part look really nice good job. … and great job on the ponds as well .. but really like the doors😊

...yeah stuff definitely freezes solid in a garage. It'll keep the windchill at bay, but -10f is -10f

Same here with the babies! I put what I thought was a sick female swordtail out to live out her days in a heated tub that I had put a layer of dirt and then sand. She must have had at least a hundred babies over the summer. She still lives and so do her babies. I brought them all inside.

@@AQUAPROS No. I actually didn’t want any until I found your videos. It’s what got me to subscribe. However I do have high end guppies and minnows like you in another 6 ponds scattered. I also do red wigglers which are worms and in my opinion easy. Lots of benefits for to the worms.

What's the difference between a bucket of water and a pond? Nothing, at least to some people.
