The fact that i got the first dlc free for preordering and got 10$ free on PSN with my PS4 which will go towards the next dlc, with premium I wont be really saving money cause i pretty much get 2 dlc's for free.
but each expansion is 15$ so if you buy 4 of the expansions that's 60 minus your 10 that's 50. That's the same price as premium. Now add on the extras that premium gives such as 2xp, camos, knifes, battlepacks. If you had put that extra 10 to the premium you would have actually saved 10 dollars.
When I played battlefield 3 as premium with my friends we just fucked around and we just kept dying and we could not even play normally because some of us always started to play stupid songs in their mic or just making weird noises. aah the good memories :D I play BF4 as a lone wolf.
I would suggest ppl to play the BF4 trial using Origin's Game Time that way you can decide whether you like the game or not, I tried it myself and while the gameplay was pretty cool and refreshing for me (since im coming from BC2..) it still had its flaws such as way too OP damage of advanced weapons and bad netcode sometimes..other than that I could see myself really enjoying the game and wouldve decided to buy it (although ive no friends who play BF4).
SeaMarkiPie wouldn't buy it for ps3, it crashed mine so much it had to format my ps3. I lost everything, from saves to online data. Maby they fixt it but if I'd check that if I were you.
I don't really think that having a lot of friends that play BF4 is a valid point on considering whether to buy it or not. Premium offers you all the DLC's for far less + extra's. Anyone who plays it almost every day would want to buy this just for the reduced cost, not because you have friends that play as much as you do.

You can get all those weapons by buying DLC . Also , "Premium content" means some battle packs. Premium member only . Those battle pack includes some XP boost, some premium only knifes,painting. But all knifes can only can steal your enemy's dog tags . Nothing else . Which is a pretty dumb idea.

Same thing happend to me but i figured out how to fix it - when you try and join a dlc game and it comes up with the option to buy dlc just choose any one of the dlc then it should come up and say its free - you have to download them because buying premium wont automatically give you the 5 dlc packs....sorry if i make no sense:/
