High ticket golmud, passive radar, 30mils, stealh coating, ecms. Shoot the missles before locking on about 600m out, leaving enemy jets no time to react. Up close only use 30 mils. USE EXTERNAL VIEW.
Personally I think it's much easier to get jet ribbons on conquest maps. You can kill anyone 5 times and get the ribbon. It doesn't have to be a vehicle. It's just 5 kills while in a jet on 1 map.
You dont have to use the stealth jet or do it on air superiority. Play attack jet on Paracel and harass attack boats. They're big and slow in the open. With no unlocks for attack jet, I did it easily in one round of conquest large.

Tip: If you want to try and get the jet fighter ribbons, go on paracel storm (conquest large) and run the default load out for the attack jet. What I did was fly around until I saw an attack boat getting taken down so I swoop in and take the kill with my missiles. I managed to get 4 jet fighter ribbons in one round with this tactic
You do NOT need 3 jetfighter ribbons in air superiority, you just need 3 jet fighter ribbons which is five kills per ribbon with ANYJET in a round. Get it right guys, you're giving bad information. All you need from the air superiority is one win. The UCAV, does NOT reload with the ammo bag, it is a one minute regeneration cycle. You guys sound like noobs.

I love the 1911. I do feel the "player appresh" is a 3X scope for the 191 is pretty shabby on Dice's part. Thanks for the tip on how to get the flying missile.
You don't need to play Air Superiority to get the 3 ribbons, just do what I did and use the air to ground jets in a map such as Rogue Transmission. Those are much easier to get kills with than the next to useless stealth jets!
The Colt is my fav gun ever, I never knew that you had to log on a certain day and I just got it with one kill and I was like okay.... I never knew they added a scope

In Xbox 360 I'm actually quite effective with helicopters but with jets I die instantly haha

Guys, there's nothing that says you have to get the kills in Air Superiority. Go to Golmud, Paracel, somewhere with a lot of easy target ground vehicles and fighter jets. Equip Laser guided, hop in a jet, focus on atv's, jet ski's, boats, jeeps, etc. I unlocked my UCAV in one round of conquest large, running laser guided.
Also you can get the jet ribbons on any mode... I've gotten quite a few jdam-ing the bravo roof on hainan resort as well as on rogue transmission
Almost ten years and I still can't fly the jet properly. I can basically kiss the UCAV goodbye because NOBODY plays air superiority anymore
It's nice being a solid pilot in Battlefield. I got the UCAV the day after it was released
I'm going to stick with the SUAV make's people more angry when I kill them :D

It took me so long to get the ucav. I played air superiority so much trying to get it that I practically mastered flying when I got it.

I got to the 1911 in one day, then i unlocked the unica 6 (5 kills from the water) and then the deagle 44 the same day (20 headshots)

3x scope on the 1911 makes a great back up especially when you're running with a CQB weapon as your primary. I was head shot sniping recons with the M1911 3x! It was funny as hell & actually very useful.

Ecm jammer,
Stealth coating.
Air superiority
If there is a jet on your tail, Do flips, turn on ecm, then turn away. He'll loose you.
ALWAYS FLY IN 3RD PERSON (I did anyway, seemed a lot easier)
I got it after about 50 jet kills. (altogether)
Took about 5 hours :P

it's hard to aim for the headshot on the ps4 ;p + it's my first fps on the console + i used the xp boosts
TheChrix1 I play BF4 on PC, did it in one match. I would suggest playing on golmud railway tdm. Just be patient and methodical not all Rambo style.
what i did was killing the campers on golmud/hajnan. I have got 2 hours on unica and i used it only to unlock the deagle XD
Even easier solution for the Jet Fighter Ribbon........ level up at Air Superiority (to get the proper kit), and kill enemies in Conquest. It only says 'kill enemies with a Jet' (doesnt't matter who you kill, just kill). -Only problem would be that others may spam the aircrafts very often-

Do it on conquest large. Pascal storm. Use the attack jets if u don't have the guided missle. Blow up boats, jetskis, stationary guns,tanks. Easy kills. Takes 2 to 3 matches depending on the dbags that constantly shoot u down

Look up the X-8 Night Sniper, thats what it truely looks like.
Lord Trippy Han Solo's blaster is more of the C96, and the X-8 Night Sniper is like a fable 3 pistol with a side mounted scope
PIERCESTORM PRODUCTIONS Hand solos Pistol is a C96 Mauser, while the X-8 Night Sniper is a M1911 but changed in many ways. They used real guns for most of the blasters in star wars :/
I didn't even know about the 3X Scope for the M1911. A few weeks after I unlocked the gun, I just started messing around with the attachments to see if anything was unlocked. Sure enough, there it was. For a moment I thought I was given some sort of "DICE Appreciation" for doing something special in the game. Regardless of what I thought, I love it. A few quickly placed rounds on an unsuspecting target will take them down nicely. I can't wait to actually get sneaky with it once I unlock a silencer.

Apparently, Dice is giving out all grenades and handguns for fan appreciation month; but I don't think they've gone through with making them available yet.
If they do, the 1911 scope is a pretty sick bonus!

I actually think the 3x scope makes the gun better not just looks wise but also gameplay wise
Compact.45 is better than the colt sadly...I miss my old Colt from BBC2 and BF3
The 1911 has better recoil and handling stats. The Compact 45 is more of a sprayer 45. I like the 1911 better for these reasons.
The 20mm does 1 damage to jets per hit, assuming all of your bullets hit.
This adds to 2000 damage per minute, assuming all your shots hit.
The 25mm does 2 damage per hit, is more accurate than the 20mm ( in bullet spread) but has a fire rate of about 1000rpm. This goes to 2000 dpm, but at a higher accuracy than the 20mm, and also having the ability to hit light armor( LAV, AA, etc). The 30mm hits for 3 damage her hit, at 700rpm, with the highest accuracy of all other weapon options. This statistically makes the 30mm have a dpm of 2100 making it the statistically best primary. I prefer the 25mm myself.

On the Xbox 360 in February for 3 days only, the Hand Gun Shortcut was available for free. The next week the Grenades Shortcut was available for free for 3 days.
If you use the G18 (AKA GODS left Hand) you can get to it faster...
I wish they would have gone over the airburst unlock for the UCAV as well. You can detonate it in the air and it's pretty effective. Far more effective with the airburst upgrade.

I can fly Helis and jets pretty good but I never have fun flying them unless I get roadkills besides infantry is a lot more fun in my opinion
that scope on the m1911 is awsome , in my opinion its easier to gauge bullet drop and bullet velocity (leading a target) with that scope other than any other sight for the m1911,, but then again lol thats just my personal preference

Not realy a jet person, but 3 rounds of air supperiority and i managed to accumulate almost 100 kills, and jumped straight to 1st division, proudest battlefield moment.... ever.

They gave the dev scopes to developer friends as well if you play with them regularly. I got a "developer battlepack" thingy that had that, magnum scope, 40x mares leg, dev camo and a 500%xp boost

RSA Car to get 5 kills per match just use 25mm , active radars and EXENGUNISHER! NOT ECM OR FLARES. you just dont have time to use counetmesauers at radars. Hit enemy with 1-2 rockets and kill him with a 25mm

For stealth jets, use the 20mm cannon because it does tons of damage on air vehicles such as helis and planes. The 25 and 30 mm don't do sufficient damage on ground vehicles so they are pointless.

you can put a suppressor on a revolver, but it would be useless. revolvers dont have a sealed chamber, so the sound of the gun firing comes from the chamber and the barrel, instead of just the barrel

You don't have to kill jets you can go on the Conquest maps and take out snipers and boat with the passive radar missiles. aim for the jet skis or the dinghys to get a guaranteed kill/multi kill.

i think someone might have already said this but another way for someone to unlock the ucav is after getting the air superiority ribbion you can get into an attack jet or a stealth jet you can use the laser guided missiles and hope your luck that we can get kills.

Well first off the 5 kills in a jet wasn't just for air superiority, you can get those kills in any conquest map.(just farm the gunships), and for the air superiority ribbon just do Guilin peaks and become a gunner
Man this whole DLC assignment unlock system sure aged well huh DICE? Just look at all those active servers still running Air Superiority and Chainlink. Oh what's that? They're all dead? Well maybe I can pull a BF3, swallow my pride, and just get my unlocks via the shortcut bundle right? Right? Oh that doesn't work anymore? Well shit guess I'm gonna have to either fork over some extra cash to rent a private server with some friends or find a trainer/mod menu.

On console you need to get 45 kills with the 1911 in order to get a trophy, and I got those kills using the 3X scope (which I didn't even know until now that it was a fan appreciation item) and I didn't think it was bad at all. I actually had a lot of fun with it.

what i did to get the 3x scope was (this only works for xbox i think) was search battlefield 4 on the dashbord and find the weapon shortcuts and just bought the pistol shortcut.
You have to get kills with a jet. Doesn't have to be air to air kills. Unlike guided missile and take out jeeps or bikes. So much easier than air to air kills.
U can get the ribbon in conquest too with the attack jet by attacking vehicles like boats and tanks
No need to do air superiority, normal conquest jet kills count just aswell. That goes for ALL kills not only kill other jets, easy. Can also be done with the attack jet which is even easier. Also by the time you get active radar, you most likeley already have al the ribbons aswell.

They made it a pain in the ass for themselves, the jet fighter ribbon requires you to get 5 KILLS in a round with a jet. It DOESN'T say it has to be on air superiority. Join a high ticket server, equip the laser guided bomb, jump in a attack/stealth jet, and kill five people in a round. And do this three times. It's actually really easy.
I found that the base UCAV unlock tricky at first but managed to unlock it on a different account in one AS game (I went 20:3 or something like that) but I think it was a fluke. Getting the Airburst Warehead was the bigger pain in the arse.
The best way for me was to play rogue transmission, jump in the attack jet and use the laser guided missiles to destroy enemy occupied vehicles. I had the ucav by the end of the day. The only thing that might slow you down is when you have someone in a jet coming after you.
experimented jet pilots use 20mm laser guided and ecm jammer (In conquest)
in air superiority is the same but changing the laser guided for an active radar

I got the UCAV on conquest. I was in a jet obviously but I still got it in that game mode.
You don't need to get the ribbons with the Stealth jet.. You can use the Attack jet. It's a lot easier.

I got form 33 to 68 on a 4x Xp weekend, and I used a 200xp boost also, I got all pistols in 4 matches along with assault rifles and snipers.
You guys got the Jet Fighter ribbon requirement completely wrong. You do not have to take down 5 jets, you need to score five kills with a jet to get the ribbon. Using laser guided missiles makes this much easier.
One day I just joined bf4 and I had just unlocked this 1911 and I already had the scope and didn't even mean to get the scope, lucky me! :)

You can use the attack jet on any map and just keep killing the Gunship to get the ucav BTW.

It is completely impossible to suppress a revolver the gas escapes around the cylinder, only revolver you can suppress is a nagant one because when you pull the trigger the cylinder moves forward and creates a gas seal
