@@StyleIntellect maybe I shouldn't say repeated by Fran. Because I think the shows aired at the same time but they definitely shared outfits. You can see some of the shared outfits online.
My Favorite Black 90's IT Girls: 1. Hillary Banks from "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" 2.Whitley Gilbert From "A Different World" 3.Claire Huxtable From "The Cosby Show" 4.Regine From "Living Single" 5.Lisa From "Sister Sister"
How about a style break down for Being Mary Jane? The style for every woman on that show spoke volumes, from Mary Jane, to the niece, to the mom, to all of Mary Jane’s friends. I could have a field day watching a deep dive on the fashion from this show!
Would you consider Gina and Pam from martin bougie girls. Pam to me was more independent business women that match Martin energy but Gina came from a wealthy high class family.
Honestly I didn't watch very many of these shows growing up(minus Fresh Prince), but I plan on doing so soon so I'll be seeing their outfits through fresh eyes! Just from this video I think I resonate a lot with Lisa Turtle, Regine and Dionne style wise. I also LOVE Ms. Devareaux's style... Her character seems so intriguing.
I'm so happy to see Lisa Turtle on here because she's from Saved By the Bell, which is a kids show, so it never gets taken seriously. Glad Lisa is getting recognized. I'm a fan of every character on this list except Whitley, she annoyed me at times. But every character here is iconic and fashion forward in their own way. I guess the characters who stand out the most for me are Lisa from my childhood and Hillary and Regine from my teen years. I vaguely remember the Diahann Carroll show, but she is the epitome of glamour and sophistication in these clips. ETA: I would also add Denise Huxtable because even though she wasn't rich and glamorous with her style, she was creative, influential and seen as a fashion icon at the time. Denise was always doing something different to her hair and wore some of the craziest outfits.
@@StyleIntellect I see what you're saying but I don't care ! Put her there 😭, oh Toni the woman you are ! 🤣❤️❤️❤️ Loving the channel as well , well done 🎈💪🏾
Fun fact: it was recently revealed that many of Regine's outfits were repeated by Fran on "The Nanny".
What!! No way, that’s so cool! I was thinking about doing a Fran Fine video

Regine and Regine’s wigmaker was definitely on Fran Fine’s vision board! All I can say is blueprint.
@@StyleIntellectPlease do! Not sure if you’ve watched the Mindy Project but her fashions were also insane.
I'd like to add that Regine Hunter was just as known for her wigs as well her looks 😉

Yeah She's So Underrated Especially Fashion Wise. And A Video Will Be Dope 😍
I would switch Hillary and Whitley and add Vivian Banks. Claire Huxtable is a great addition too!
Don't Get It Twisted I Loved 😍 Lisa Turtle's Fashion Choices As Well
She Definitely Was A Black Barbie 🥰
Lisa Turtle was and still is my favorite! But still love the others too!
Love her!! Probably my favorite personality out of the bunch!
Maxine Shaw Attorney at Law had the 90’s corporate baddie style on lock 🔒

Loved this!!! Regine Hunter and Lisa Turtle will forever be my 80s & 90s It Girls! I was copying Kim Fields back when she was Tootie! 😍
So creative with their fashion you gotta love it!
I watch the reruns just for the fashion ❤
Same! 💕

I can tell by your profile picture that you embody the essence of a lot of the aforementioned idiosyncrasies.

Love the Profile Pic 😍
R.I.P. Babygirl 🙏🕊️
Agreed on Denise Huxtable. Although from an affluent TV family, she was more laid back than actually bougie.
I am now subscribed and this video has been appropriately liked. KEEP THESE COMING!
