For those alarmed at the title, please understand that I have an “Unfortunate Demise” series on this app detailing the deaths of many public figures. And this video is yet another chapter in the series. I can only hope my documentaries are received in the way that I intended: to tell the artists’ stories and give thanks to their many contributions. Thanks and God Bless 🙏🏾💯
I apprecaite the effort you put into these videos! Been here since the Aaliyah documentary. I look forward to seeing more. Thank you for putting so much into the story telling of these artists lives. You paint them wonderfully, with such great detail and admiration. It shows. I learn Keep it up. RIP Orish and Irish.
I actually met Irish at a bank i was working at in 2015 and she had her son with her. She looked even more beautiful in person, as she walked up to my window i froze bc 702 was my favorite girl group and she was my favorite in the group. I asked for her ID processing her transaction, trying to act normal but i couldn't hold it in and asked for a picture of her. She said yes and even included her son Bryce to be in the picture. She gave me a hug and left, its a day I'll NEVER forget. RIP Irish
That’s wonderful that you got to experience that! I know at one point she and Misha were so ducked off nobody could even find a picture of them. Glad they reunited before it was too late. She’ll def be missed ❤
I knew Irish personally, and we talked quite often even about her health and the death of her twin sister. I last spoke with her on August 7th, and the next thing I know a friend asked did I hear about the girl from 702 passing and my heart just dropped. I miss her dearly and our conversations. She was such a beautiful spirit and soul. She is and will forever be my sister for life. RIP my beautiful butterfly 🦋😭
This generation doesn't know the excitement of R&B groups. 702 was a whole vibe. I used to LOVE running to the store to look at Word Up and the posters in the magazines.
The 70s was by far the greatest era of music; the Rennaissance, bc of its vast diversity in culture .. The 90s picked up from the 70s but predominantly black music. Before the 20th century, music was primarily utilized for communication, spirituality and religions practices controlled by the "clergy". Music was created by the 7 natural elements and animals as well. The denigration of music began in the 20th century where a shift of human industrialization to technology took place. Man saw the opportunity to capitalize, control and exploit music. The artist became a disposable commodity. Was given and embraced God status. So, in exchange for spirituality an absolute sellout began by both industry and artist. & Here we are. Souls sold for money and manipulation of the masses. Music was meant to heal not hurt o maim. Now it's a business of thugs on all side.
I think that the twins were born with a condition that was undiagnosed or untreated. Them dying from the same illness (allegedly) is an eerie coincidence.
I lost my twin at 28 , it really takes something from you , almost like you are gone too . when my twin was passing away , they told her she had 6 months to a year to live , she said, “you know they only say that to scare you .” she was trying to be brave for me 🥺 I can’t even explain the feeling , it’s empty but it does (atleast for me) take away the fear of death when you know your sissy is waiting for you . may they rest in peace 💔
Orish seemed like she had such a good heart and was a good sport throughout it all. She could have became bitter and jealous about being left out and chose to be supportive and loving to her sister’s opportunity. That says sooo much about who she was. Rest in love Orish!!!! Rest in love Irish!!!
Irish is back with her twin Orish. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 May they both be at peace. Irish and I followed each other on Instagram...We even talked to each other via DM. She was a beautiful person.
This was a very respectful tribute to 702. I remember when they came on the scene in the 90’s! I’ve been a day one Fan! Their legacies will forever live on. 🙏🏽 🕊️ 🤎
What a beautiful tribute! I didn't know the group went through that many changes with their members. It goes to show you how cut throat the industry was during that time. So many girl groups disbanded and replaced others during that time period.
"I still love you" is STILL a banger. 702 was one of the dopest female groups of the 90s and early 2000s. So grateful these ladies are getting the love and recognition they deserve. Hope to see more. Rest in love Orish & Irish
If your over 40 we knew who Orish was without social media. Irish ☘️ was so beautiful. I’m 41 so this was my high school/ college era. Rest Well Twins 😢
I'm in my early 30s and I knew who they were because I love old school music and everything my parents listen to they grew me and my siblings up on that kinda music❤
I’m 62. I remember when these beautiful young ladies burst onto the music scene. I was caring for my elderly parents and grandmother back in the 1990s. I loved the music of 702. I did not know twin sister Orush had passed. And now to learn that Irish passed this month deeply saddens me. Condolences to all their families, friends, and fans. RIP Orish and Irish. ❤❤🙏🙏
This was tough to watch, but as a 702 fan from the jump, I thank Irish and Orish for being such positive representatives as young black women. Growing up in the 90s was a fun time, listening to their music. I'm praying for their family and friends. God has reunited them, and may them both Sleep In Heavenly Peace 💜🙏🏾
This was a well put together and responsible post. There are a lot of click bait irresponsible bloggers trying to be so called reporters that put out trash. So I commend you on this really well put together piece for the sisters.

Thank you for the work you put into this video. I didn’t know a lot of the information you shared about a group I really enjoyed. You portrayed them as very beautiful people inside and out. Respect.
They came to my middle school to promote their album. We went CRAZY!!!! To us they were already famous af. Why us? They were super nice and put on a good show. ❤
Thank you for doing the due diligence of researching and sharing their story. As a teen 702 was one of my favorite girl groups. I looked up to these ladies. The way they carried themselves, their talent and their music were so relatable. Finding out how much they loved and supported each other behind the scenes is truly an inspiration. R.I.P Irish and Orish. ❤
We need to pray for her son. His strength and health as well it is obvious that this is a genetic disorder and we need to ask God to cover that baby so he can live long happy and healthy years.
This just makes me so emotional 😢😢😢😢 I never knew how much the girls went through as a group.
