    the fact that Achilles and Patroclus are together in the afterlife is just the most heartwarming thing ever. those too deserved their happy ending, but "name a hero who was happy" 😭😭😭

    Your sweater is the perfect intersection between modern chique and 14th century medieval chainmail (mean this in a good way)

    In the last video, you asked about the pronunciation of Aeaea. As per the Wilson and Fagles translations, it is ee-ee'-a.

    I feel a bit bad for Patroclus. He had to deal with moody arrogant Achilles whining about his pride, honor and glory during the war...and now he has to listen to him whine about how none of that mattered.
    I hope Achilles finally found happiness with Pat though...

      Wait - I never thought about this from Patroclus’ perspective hahahaha 😂

    Didn’t Heracles become a god? Did the god come down to the underworld or something?

    • @williamvissers9906
      @williamvissers9906 Год назад

      Heracles did not actually die, but became immortal and subsumed among the Olympian gods, and in last marriage got Hebe, the Goddess of Youth, to wife. Thus his body remained on the sacred Mount Olympus and his ghost (soul) in Hades, according to Homer's Odyssey
