the fact that Achilles and Patroclus are together in the afterlife is just the most heartwarming thing ever. those too deserved their happy ending, but "name a hero who was happy" 😭😭😭
I’ve been looking for a really good description of the underworld in the odyssey for ages thank you so much!!! this really really helped me understand it better :))
I feel a bit bad for Patroclus. He had to deal with moody arrogant Achilles whining about his pride, honor and glory during the war...and now he has to listen to him whine about how none of that mattered. I hope Achilles finally found happiness with Pat though...
Heracles did not actually die, but became immortal and subsumed among the Olympian gods, and in last marriage got Hebe, the Goddess of Youth, to wife. Thus his body remained on the sacred Mount Olympus and his ghost (soul) in Hades, according to Homer's Odyssey

Your sweater is the perfect intersection between modern chique and 14th century medieval chainmail (mean this in a good way)
Hahaha I’m going to take this as a compliment, so thank you 🤣❤️

What does the rest of the t-shirt in this thumbnail say? (& thanks for all the help with these vids!)
“My lack of mythology knowledge is my Achilles elbow” 😂
Ok 🙂❤️
🙃
Didn’t Heracles become a god? Did the god come down to the underworld or something?
