I still have my 1969 Camaro. My brother purchased it from the original owner boyfriend. It also had a 307 CID 2 barrel with an automatic transmission 350 and it gas factory disc brakes. The original 307 had a rod through the block. So I put a 350 CID in it. Now restoring it one last time.

I had some of those Camaro rims on an old square Chevy S-10 back in the day and i thought i was the sheeeeot boy! Very nice Camaro sir. That old paint will shine up nicely.
Super cool,Ive always been a fan of the 70-73 rs with the split bumper. I had a 76' lt as my first car. Sold it to buy a 95' YZF600r. That got a insurance claim and got me a 05' R6 that got stolen...got it out in my shed still needs a new ignition system and who knows what else,Now I have a 94' Civic and a 97' 318ti.
Wow. Just wow. I love that It was bought new and remains in the family. This car is also proof that you gotta drive 'em!! They survive no problem with proper care and maintenance. The car, the family...true Americana Aloha 🤙
Its said 307s were plagued with soft camshafts so i have to ask did your dad get lucky and run all those miles on the original camshaft and lifters or were they replaced ? Beautifull car by the way !! 😊
@@stephane123123 did I mention anything about that? All I was saying is who cares who’s friends with who. People should stop worrying about shit that has nothing to do with them. Everyone has different relationships with people. Like for example, if you had 2 friends that had a argument regardless who is right or wrong. Would you not be friends with either of them anymore? even if it had nothing to do with you or effect your relationship with those people…
I have my Dad's 69 Camaro as well. Definitely not stock by any means but I'd like to show it to you. Maybe I'll send it thru Instagram and hopefully you'll see it 🫶
I remember you stopping by the house now and again when you were in high school! We still have the 70 Camaro. Congratulations on your shop!
That was a long time ago! I’m glad you still have the 70. I speak with Nate now and again.

$3,200 in 1969 = $27,650.34 in 2024, sheesh
Not a bad price.
Your father must have paid extra for the Parchment-colored interior---black would've been standard
I’ll look on the purchase order.
That would buff good.
So front disc brakes AND Nissan battery aren’t original lol
Needs mo power lol
Naaa...
It lasted so long because it doesn't have all that power
Cant believe you friend's with tommy over chris wtf jack
That’s none of your business pal
🤦♂️
@@LukeSMK Jack's channel exploded when Chris was around I like Jack but this channel would be a lot smaller if it weren't for Chris !
