Brings back memories, in the late 80’s I had a 69 Z28 the same blue with black stripes blue interior, I drove car to work every day, loved that car, sold it for $5500 and got married. It should be a lot of fun for someone should you sell it, great job!

Love the bucket you used to wash the car! LOL.......so when you installed the back glass was there a seal of some sort? Great idea on the front wheel trim.
@@JALPontiact44 It was in a car I bought years ago and use it for a step stool and wash bucket LOL!! I use butyl tape on the glass and then seal it onto the frame. I use 3/8 fuel line on the bottom of the glass as a spacer so the glass doesn’t slide down. I meant to show that but remembered after I put the trim on so I wasn’t able to show it. Sorry about that. It is a shame… I went out to lunch with a friend today that hasn’t seen my 69 Camaro in person yet. However, because I know I wouldn’t be able to see the car from any of the tables in the restaurant, I left it at home.

Hey Al, Charlie again from Minnesota. So those clips serve a dual purpose, to help hold the glass in place and clip the trim into place? I respect the fact you can restrain yourself from going all in on a project, and make more affordable to a person looking to buy a classic car.

Hi my name is Steve quick question The 69 you're working on now that you just put the back window in. Did the touch up painting and everything. Why is that car not worth restoring completely. But the blue one that you have on the left that is a straight 6 looks a lot worse of condition . Wouldn't it be easier to fix than repair The one that you just did the paint touch upon in the back window in wouldn't that be the better way to go.
@@stevenlayne8744 Hello Steve, the blue one is definitely worth restoring or go over it and keep it looking like a survivor car and keep it affordable. To restore it would make it unaffordable to a lot of people who can build it the way they want to. The one on the lift I’m going to build an LS turbo or pro charger, kind of a pro touring car. No harm in modifying a piece of aftermarket trim to get it installed. Nice job on the car.
