To take a car that most people would have past up and save her in record time is truly amazing! I think you saved a little piece of history super great job! 1969 was a great year and so were the cars of those years. I have great memories of that time, some of the best years of my life. I had to go out and buy 2" seat rail spacers for my driver's side seat. I'm just a little over 6' tall but my left knee was uncomfortably close to the steering wheel when depressing the clutch. Got them from Summit for under $70 and pushing the seat back 2" made all the difference in the world. Not sure if that's a problem for you in these Gen 1's or not.
