Here's the recipe! Follow my video for instructions.
Cake Batter:
1 bar (4 ounces) German Chocolate
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cups milk (room temperature)
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
3 egg whites
1 white box mix
German Chocolate Icing:
3 egg yolks
1 egg
12 ounce can evaporated milk
1 stick unsalted butter (room temperature)
3/4 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups shredded coconut
1 cup pecan pieces
I-don't-feel-like-it Chocolate Icing
1/2 can buttercream icing
1 tablespoon unsalted butter (room temperature)
Vanilla extract (few drops)
2 tablespoon cocoa powder

My experience is always better to wait for a half hour, and then mix the batter again... (Will have NO MORE LUMPS) all melt in !!!

I'll look into it! My daughter used to have an egg allergy when she was a baby. She actually outgrew it after a few years but for a while I had to get creative with making things without eggs. So I'm familiar with the egg free life. Any particular flavor or cake you would prefer?

They were a gift so I don't know where they were purchased specifically. I did find a link to them on Amazon. I'm not sure if they can be found elsewhere but this will at least give you a starting point. 🙂 I'm obsessed with food themed items.
