Yeah pretty much. Getting mad their theories aren’t correct is essentially a form of fan entitlement and let’s face it a little bit of a bruised ego. It makes them feel silly that they connected imaginary dots and so they blame the show for not following their theory. It’s not THEIR fault they got their theory wrong it’s the show’s fault. They thought it was going to go one way so it SHOULD go that way if it doesn’t it’s not good. Don’t get me wrong it’s a little disappointing but I still loved this finale. Too many people are judging it based on this finale ISN’T instead of actually judging it based on what it IS.

For those who don’t know: The Darkhold was written by Chthon, the God of Chaos. The Darkhold is a book of spells. It provides the reader the instructions to make their desires come true, written in the language the reader would fully understand. The instructions guide the reader to their ultimate goal by showing them how to build items, some of which harness energy from other dimensions.
However, the secondary ability of the book is to corrupt the reader's mind and create a dangerous obsession over the Darkhold. Most people who use the Darkhold's spells fall under Chthon's mental control as a result. Only humans with great spiritual strength like Dr Strange can successfully resist this mental enslavement.
Since Wanda created the twins with chaos magic, and in the end credit scenes she can hear them, my guess is: they are in the same dimension as Chthon, so when she tries to rescue them, se will release Chthon, and he will be the big bad on Dr. Strange 2. And belive me, this mf is a PROBLEM.

What an absolutely incredible character study about grief and loss with one super-powerful being. Elizabeth Olsen deserves all the awards cause she absolutely killed it in this show. I was pretty skeptical back in January before the show started mainly due to the fact that the MCU hadn't really successfully developed characters' romantic relationships, besides Wanda and Vision and they were always relegated to like the C story in Civil War and Infinity War, but Marvel absolutely nailed this show. Hats off to Fiege, Matt Shakman, and the writers for tackling such a topic as grief for sitcom-style television; and to Olsen, Bettany, and Hahn for fabulous performances in a fantastic show.

The Thor and Jane relationship isn’t too bad in the first Thor film and Lang with Hope is just fun though yeah neither of those are fleshed out a whole lot and really deeply explored or tested to a great degree but I mean really the only ones I didn’t care for in the mcu were Hulks with Betty and then Natasha tbh.

But Agatha still looked herself, so my guess is that Wanda merely depowered her instead of take all her powers. I mean, to take them all would have killed Agatha and Wanda is not a murderer.
She also probably trapped Agatha in the mental prison because outside the hex no one knows about Agatha. She's a trump card for Wanda to use later, probably in Dr Strange 2 honestly. On that note, if Agatha can still be contained in West View even when the Hex is gone then it seems Wanda has the power to keep people under her "spell" on an individual basis. If that's the case then she could have done that with "her" Vision. Not sure why White Vision didn't go to Wanda's aid after acquiring his memories though.

And Agatha isn’t even remotely the hero, she did absolutely nothing to help the people of Westview, actively enslaved Ralph, manipulated Wanda to keep her in the Hex and killed a dog

I think that Wanda definitely had some villainous things happen because of her in this show. It's a major theme after all, none of this would have happened without her. I think that she isn't the main villain however. I think that once we understand what exactly happened to Wanda to make her get to this point, that the main villain of the show would be Hayword and SWORD along with Agatha. Hayword definitely engineered this situation, or at least a situation where Wanda brought back Vision so he could have a living weapon. So while the whole situation is messed up and a big shade of grey, I think that Hayword and Agatha are definitely the major villains of this show.

PhantomVirus I disagree, I actually don’t think Wanda understood the full scope of what she’d done until the very end. In the first episode, she knew she did something and somehow Vision was back. She figured out early on the townspeople were in the hex she’d made. But the fact that they were actually suffering beneath the facade she’d imposed on them? WE knew that as the audience, seeing it through Vision’s eyes. But I don’t think Wanda did until the very end. Any issues she saw people having she might have thought she could fix, or by episode 6 she might have thought that was all Agatha’s fault. When Agatha releases the townspeople in the finale, Wanda even tries to argue with them, “no, I kept you all safe.” Of course what she did was terrible for those people, but in terms of Wanda’s intent, I don’t think she understood what she’d done through the majority of the show. There may have been some willful ignorance there, but she’s a person with incredible power she doesn’t understand and was in deep grief. At least she responded well in the last episode and at that point did everything right: sacrificing her own happiness to do what would be best for others, leaving them be and finding a place distant from people to study the Darkhold on the astral plane to understand her powers so something like this would never happen again. (Which might have it’s own unintended consequences, but that’ll just be fun for Doctor Strange 2.)

Great finale - was worried that it was pure action that was a bit too away from the heart of what the show had been, but damn they pulled it back in the last 10 minutes! Had me tearing up! Vision and particularly Wanda have shot up in my favourite characters list!
Fully agree with Eric that people's disappointment comes from them wishing their theories into existence. That being said I did expect a Strange cameo in the post credits.
My Agents of SHIELD fanboy freaked out at the Darkhold! I'm assuming it's just a different edition of the book in the same way books have different publishers and printers

If you try to figure out who’s the villain is, for me it’s layered like this :
Hayward was the Villain for Wanda
Agatha was the Villain for Wanda
Wanda was the Villain for Westview People
There’s so much conflicts and problems in Wandavision and it caused by many characters so there is no actually single villain here, but to be honest Wanda released chaos magic and held the town in hostage accidentally, under an unstable mental state due of extreme depression and grief which you can also blame Hayward for this.
But she ended up releasing them at the end, by her own choice, and Westview people’s demand, not because of the military, not even Agatha. So I really can’t just call her straight up Villain cause she ended up beating Agatha, because who knows what will Agatha did if she actually got the Scarlet Witch full power, she most likely could do something worse than Wanda and not only to Westview people, but also the whole world using chaos magic.

People are saying this turns Wanda into a villain because she mind controlled this town. But she didn’t do it on purpose and tried to stop it as soon as she could once she realized what happened. If that makes her a villain then you would have to consider Tony a villain as well. Because he and Bruce created Ultron who killed a bunch of people even though that wasn’t their intention. Wanda didn’t even kill anyone, so Tony and Bruce would technically be worse. I don’t consider Tony, Bruce, or Wanda a villain but I feel if you consider one a villain, you should probably consider them all villains.

I am glad WandaVision ended this way. The story was about Wanda dealing with trauma and accepting loss to move forward and become a fully realised Scarlet Witch.
WandaVision focused on the main characters instead of adding in cameos that could overshadow everything that happened in the series like some other shows.
I really liked the Mandalorian season 2 cameo with Luke when I first watched it but if you take out that scene, the finale is very mid, no one cared about anything in that finale other than Luke. WandaVision had trust in its own characters will carry the story instead of relying on big cameos for fan service and to hype up the audience in the moment.
To people who follow theory channels and sites, the moral of the story is not to accept theories as gospel and ruin a great show with false/over expectation.
However, I do hope they mention in his movie that Doctor Strange was aware of the situation and was busy with something else as he is supposed to be the protector of this dimension and should be aware of all threats. If Agatha could detect the hex then Dr. Strange and Wong should be able to as well.

Cassie Lang as Stature in Ant-Man 3 (Confirmed)
Teddy Altman as Hulkling in eather Secret Invasion or Captain Marvel 2 (Unconfirmed)
