Hello, my name is Chana and welcome to Jewish Education at Home! I post videos each week related to Jewish homeschooling, Judaism, and spirituality, (all related to Jewish life inside the home) and my husband has a mini-side-series about conversion to Judaism. I have heard of our house being a mikdash mé’at: a mini bet HaMikdash :) I like how Chana linked it to displaying a menorah 🕎:)

This was SO helpful and clear. I love your home and how it works! In the kitchen, next to the tzedake (sp?) box, you showed us a small volume, chunky volume that contained Tanakh, Siddur etc. How do you spell the title? I want to add both to my kitchen. Again, a thousand thanks for sharing!!
I’m so glad you found this helpful! It’s called “chitas.” It generally just sits there but it has always been in my kitchen and I can’t imagine my kitchen without it! I'm new subscribe ! I want to learn more about the Jewish people. My Ancestors were sefardic Jewish, but the converted to catholic because of the Inquisition. Some of my family keep secret.
But in my grandmother house have a 3 pomegranate 🌳 and I believe a 🍋 or fig tree

And one last question what's the best way to learn how to read in Hebrew it's easier to learn how to say things in Hebrew but reading or write it's almost impossible Do you have any recommendations or videos about learning how to write in Hebrew. @@rosag7386 Yes, no problem even if you’re not Jewish you can carry around a Shir Lamalot card! Reading Hebrew is actually very simple! It’s very straightforward, with only a few small exceptions. Hebrew looks more overwhelming than it is. Before anything, first memorize the Hebrew letters, called the Alef-Beis and the sounds they make. Then memorize the vowels, and their sounds. First thing is to just memorize the letters. :)
