    l do 4 wraps a twist in the back and then l do an over and under, and another under.. responds way better and looks more like actual chain around my rope and doesn’t have that huge gap on the one side when weighted. l’ll post it sometime on my channel so people can see what l mean.
    thanx for the tutorial, well done.🫡

    I like this hitch on my 8mm 30” RNA prusik. I use a Michoacán knot on a 28” 10mm prusik

    The video ends too quickly, assuming the viewer knows it's applications. Is it a climbing knot, a lowering knot. Is it for a split line system or as I climb, single line body thrusting ( I'm 71 and never did learn the new jingly jangly Arbor Master stuff. But I like it).

    nice .. but seems to complicated ..
    prusic easier..100% bombproof and nothing to make a mistake
    also for best friction the blocator cordelete must be 3mm slimer than rope

      Prusik is easier, but it locks when descending. This is made to ascend easily, and descend easily with very little input, but with great stopping power.

    the knot under the pulley is used to secure or other thing?

    • @RulemSchrieven
      @RulemSchrieven Год назад +1

      Just to keep the pulley from sliding down,I assume
