Doesn't make sense how this guy got convicted for something he didn't do. The lawyer who accused him should now get at a minimum 10 years of prison for not doing his job correctly. That's fair. Because if you're a lawyer, you are to understand both sides of the case. And if you don't, you are a bunch of bad words and a coward!

Apparently, his case was not overturned. He was simply granted parole after serving the bulk of the 25-year to life murder sentence, which is considered a victory also. They took into consideration that he had some questionable circumstances surrounding his case, but his conviction still stands. He's still part of the system and walking a tight rope. I hope he is able to prove his innocence claim and break those chains completely. Otherwise, he is just a man on parole...

As far as his attorney goes: those people get disbarred all the time. Right off the bat, the headline insinuated that he was wrongfully imprisoned. Less than 30 seconds into the interview, it turns out that he CLAIMS that he didn't do anything. Shame on CBS-8 for the bait & switch.

There are several interviews wherein the lawyer is pretty clear that they've been investigating his case since 2018 & there is a lot of evidence that was available back then and now regarding his innocence that will or has been presented to the Courts. He's out on parole because his date came up and was able to show his innocence and behavior. Looks like he will be fighting from the outside and that's good for him and his family. We don't know the story or the details. 30 years and maintaining his innocence for a reason. Not everyone is guilty!

I know this guy was let out in parole but there are a number of people convicted of murder that were eventually exonerated with evidence. That is why I'm firmly against the death penalty. People that support the death penalty ought to look at what countries employ it and ask themselves if we're in good company. They should also ask themselves what margin of error they are comfortable with. Our legal system is imperfect and it's employed by humans who are inherently flawed beings. We make mistakes and no one's life should be expended due to a mistake.
