What's your gapping between a 50 and 53°? Seems like that'd only be like 5 yards difference
Everyone gaps differently. It's very important to get your wedges fit to you on a launch monitor. My dad plays a 46° pw that goes about 125, a 52° that goes about 115, a 56° that goes about 105, and a 58° that goes about 90. It's a perfect gap for him. I even know a fellow pro who plays a 48° pw, 50° gap, and a 56° sw.... no lob wedge, and his gaps are so dialed. Plus, there is anything I can do with my 60 he can do with his 56, and it opens a top end spot in his bag. I absolutely nerd out on this stuff.
@@golfdoctorphd me too! That's what tripped me out about the 3° difference. He seems like he's got the clubhead speed that a wider range would benefit, but I know different bounce and grinds can account for the yardage difference too
50 stock is like 122 and 53 stock is like 114
