  • In response to that video of Spidey getting beat up in situations he should have easily escaped from some comments people and fans of the show challenged me to do a video of when Spidey kicked ass. I guess what Spidey lacks in blocking and dodging ability in this show he made up for with shocking brutality.
    Next video will be the 60s Thor and it is way more surreal than Captain America and yet not as crazy at the same time.

      His web is a poor man's Green Lantern ring. Homecoming spoofed that, with all of Karen's configurations. Though, that felt like a cheat, since it was Tony and not Peter that thought up all those insane configurations.

      Vertag Yeah, Peter in the early comics can make anything out of webbing such as that, shields, and a whole lot of other stuff I forgot. Heck, in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, he can literally make big weapons out of his webbing, in the case of Maces and Hammers, which is cool as freak.

    You know, I love that they still captured Spiderman's personality pretty accurately. They just sort of "translated" it to the '60s way of speaking. He's still witty, smart-mouthed, and sometimes a douche at times.

      Yes, the original Spider-Man was like that in the comics, too. The first time Spider-Man beat Doctor Octopus, he did it with an acid he made to fuse Doc Ock's tentacles together. The first time Spider-Man beat The Vulture, he did it with a magnetic device he made to counteract The Vulture's flying belt. And so on.

    Nobody will realize just how metal ‘67 Spider-Man was. The guy tanks bullets like they’re nothing, he mercilessly beats people and deflects lightning bolts with just his webs, the reason why this show ended was because they couldn’t stop him from becoming too powerful and destroying himself... Truly he is the One Above All...

      Actually there is apparently 3 different earths based on this. This one is Earth 6799, then there is Earth 67 from Amazing Spider-Man 11 (2015), and the one your referring to is Earth 3015. Confused me too.

      Spider-Man has been making stuff out of his webbing since the very beginning of Spider-Man: baseball bats, parachutes, skis... one of the earliest Spider-Man comics features a "get to know Spider-Man" page showing him making all sorts of wacky stuff.

    These are the Spider-Man cartoons that I grew up on when I was a kid. I loved anything to do with Spider-Man, the cartoons, the toys, and the comics. One of my favorite episodes is Revolt in the Fifth Dimension. The 1967-1970 series are the best Spider-Man cartoons ever made.

    One of single most memorable moments of the Spiderman series back in '67 was when he caught up to and cornered the punk who shot and killed his Uncle Ben Parker...knocking the living sh*t out of the guy. Truly a noteworthy moment to remember!!😊☺️👍
