1967 Spider man Could Kick Ass too ... Sometimes

- In response to that video of Spidey getting beat up in situations he should have easily escaped from some comments people and fans of the show challenged me to do a video of when Spidey kicked ass. I guess what Spidey lacks in blocking and dodging ability in this show he made up for with shocking brutality.
Next video will be the 60s Thor and it is way more surreal than Captain America and yet not as crazy at the same time. - Приколы

While Mysterio, the unpowered illusionist, just gets absolutely jumped. Truly the most savage Spider-Man
"So what can spidey's webs do in this cartoon?"
"Yes"
In this show Spidey's web is tool that could make Batman jealous.
His web is a poor man's Green Lantern ring. Homecoming spoofed that, with all of Karen's configurations. Though, that felt like a cheat, since it was Tony and not Peter that thought up all those insane configurations.
7:00 "My tempered webbing is stronger than your steel"
Is there anything his Web can't do?
Aidan Lol it can’t save Gwen
Aidan Lol It can’t bring back Uncle Ben.
Holy crap I didn't realize his webbing allowed him to become the green lantern as well
The Web Lantern
The Weed Lantern
The Wax Lantern
Admittedly, he would definitely be a good Candidate
Vertag Yeah, Peter in the early comics can make anything out of webbing such as that, shields, and a whole lot of other stuff I forgot. Heck, in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, he can literally make big weapons out of his webbing, in the case of Maces and Hammers, which is cool as freak.

Yes, RIP Paul Soles. The late Paul Soles was Canadian and that is why the 1960s Spiderman sounded like a Canadian.
@@stephanprimeau6150 The show itself was Canadian. It was imported to the States.
You know, I love that they still captured Spiderman's personality pretty accurately. They just sort of "translated" it to the '60s way of speaking. He's still witty, smart-mouthed, and sometimes a douche at times.
If anything this was the closest to when the original comics were written… so the various versions of spider man we get now are actually translated to our time.

Gotta give this series credit. At least they weren't afraid to let Spidey throw a punch. Unlike the '94 series Spider-Man.
on the 60s Fantastic 4 they punch people even more often. Johnny Quest toons from the 60s often showed characters getting killed ! That sure wouldn't fly now
The 1994 series had censorship issues, such as a no kill policy. This didn't exist in the sixties.
4:19 I love how this spider-man conveniently carries an instant heating device with him at all times for an oddly specfic moment. I imagine he has a variety of gadgets that are only useful for very specific situations.
Adam West taught him well
Good time to note that he used to have a utility belt in the comics that did have random shit in it
Yes, the original Spider-Man was like that in the comics, too. The first time Spider-Man beat Doctor Octopus, he did it with an acid he made to fuse Doc Ock's tentacles together. The first time Spider-Man beat The Vulture, he did it with a magnetic device he made to counteract The Vulture's flying belt. And so on.

Nobody will realize just how metal ‘67 Spider-Man was. Fun fact: in the canonical comics, multiverse Spider-men use this reality's villains for training.
Actually there is apparently 3 different earths based on this. This one is Earth 6799, then there is Earth 67 from Amazing Spider-Man 11 (2015), and the one your referring to is Earth 3015. Confused me too.
Spiderman comics really went off the rails with all these different spidermen, women and whatnot. And in the last 12 years Marvel made itself a (woke) mockery and totally irrelevant. The old stuff will always be there though.
