I'm 62 yrs I grew up watching these fantastic cartoons they are timeless. Hanna barbera was the king of the Saturday morning cartoon industry I miss that Era.
I miss the bowl of cereal and sitting for hours on the floor mesmerized by the cartoons. We were blessed to have that
Gotcha beat at 66. I loved these cartoons as a child and still do, although I have likes and dislikes. Interestingly, I didn't like Jonny Quest very much -- but nobody was a superhero on that show, despite its high quality. HB's Fantastic Four was one of the shows that made me conscious of voice actors, as Paul Frees' voice as the Thing was the one I heard in my head while reading his lines in Fantasic Four comics for decades! This stuff was for sure kid stuff, but I sure miss it!
Space Ghost,Blue Falcon & Dyno-Mutt,& Herculoids are my favs!
Loved these characters when I was a child in the 70’s, these cartoons were a gateway to reading comic books for me.
Man I miss Hanna Barbera cartoons.
Space Ghost and Arun ant were some of my favorites.
Birdman and herculoids. Can't further the best ever, CAPTAIN CAVEMAAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!!
Mightor is in the running for the world's first superhero, along with Captain Caveman. You can't get older than prehistoric.
The Space Ghost-Herculoids crossover in the 80"s was pretty cool. Wish they'd added the Galaxy Trio to the mix, though.
Birdman and Blue Falcon should get a team up. They're both bird-themed. :) Although BF was more into the comedic side of HB cartoons.
Cool video. Thanks.
They never get any love but I like these super heroes
This is when you were excited to wake up early Saturday mornings, kids don't know what they're missing.....
Dino Mutt was actually Scooby Doo's cousin. And Blue Falcon and Batman went to college together (along with the Green Hornet).
Right. Then there was the Friday Night Fall Preview before the new Saturday Morning Lineup.
@@3dragon12no way
Blue Falcon and Dyno- Mutt all day , next Space Ghost.
These characters was my favorite. When I was a kid.Just imagine if they made a sort of Justice League type team up movie with these characters. That would be dope.
I enjoyed thundarr the barbarian!!!
Loved all these shows but I would have put the Herculoids behind space ghost.
Love to see a good live action with them!
Mightor was awesome👍👍
My personal favorite is Young Sampson.
Um, Iron Man was before Space Ghost.
Best mornings ever. Herculoids were the best. Yesteryear is gone but not are memory's.
Okay, Iron Man predates Space Ghost. I was around then, so I know. Birdman was a truly LOATHSOME character, as he was WEAK. Two minutes away from direct sunlight and he's normal powered. This plot device was as overused as was Kryptonite during the same time period. Don't get me wrong, though. I LOVED most of Hanna Barbera's superhero cartoons. I was and remain a Space Ghost fanatic, an aficionado of Frankenstein, Jr. and the Impossibles, a devotee of the Herculoids and a lover of HB's Fantastic Four. I just like some characters better than others, like everybody else!😎
I loved these carttons😊
Mightor always stood out to me. Those creatively capable could make some big money on this i.p
I enjoyed the HB superhero series, including those you have mentioned, but you're a bit off base claiming that they were important influences on other heroes like Batman and Iron Man. They are like them, yes, but the DC and Marvel heroes pre-date the HB ones by years at least, and in some cases, decades, so it's more the other way around. That takes nothing away from HB's creations, but let's not put the cart before the horse; the HB heroes have their unique aspects, and they are certainly highly entertaining, but their basic concepts are not totally original (if that's possible). I like 'em anyway.
you forgot to put the supervillains Crime Boss Uglor. He is similar to Darth Vader , Thanos , Darkside & ming the the Merciless.
They got overshadowed by DC heroes Hannah Barbera was heavily associated with Cartoon Network, which later got more influenced by WB directly so naturally the takeover with DC when it came to Super heroes.
What didnt help is that Space Ghost heavily resembles Batman TAS version which got popular at the same time Cartoon Network become a stay on TV. And the Looney Tunes also took more from DC directly when referencing Superheroes instead of just keeping it 'general' and they still do that till this day.
While Marvel also took more ground through Xmen and Spiderman TAS.
I want to see more of they in comic book and TV show on cartoon network
Space Ghost, Birdman, and Blue Falcon were also inspired by Batman, who predates all three of these characters.
Make this happen
Space Ghost,Herculoids, johnny Quest, Birdman, Frankenstein Jr, MightyMightor,Samson& Goliath, Fantastic four, all on Saturday then there were weekday mornings cartoons like Astroboy, marine boy, Prince planet Superman, under dog, the afternoon weekdays spiderman, speedracer cant forget Gumbo, Romper Room, Roller Derby, wrestling, creature features, chiller theater, night stalker, Eating cereal and pancakes while watching, hot wheels, Johnny lightning, chemistry sets, erector sets, cool toys Christmas was really Christmas, snow was fun , thanksgiving was beautiful, roller skating, ice skating, board games, spinning tops , street games like ringo leavio, some call it coco leavio we also had hot peas and butter and used a belt with that street game
Show some love for “The Galaxy Trio” !!!
So Warmer Media owns Hanna Barbera, merge that with DC Comics and incorporate the classic HB heroes into the DC Universe
"Team leader, often portrayed as the leader of a team." Why are we still using AI for everything lmao
Thundarr.
Sorry, I can't listen to this AI text to voice crap. Just read the script yourself. Even if you don't sound great, it will sound better than this and we will get a better sense of your passion for the subject.
