Nice, I just got my unit Sunday. I've done a lot over the years as far as physical locks in Pinson tumblers, and all that good stuff leading up to Lishi keys. But this is a new thing for a me. I didn't even know that I could use the Immo side even if I was not hooked up with the OBD to the vehicle.
I was wondering where everyone was getting all the key types and detailed specs for the programming as I could not find them in the other side (programming on the IM508). Thanks!

Can you renew an E90 key without the CAS? I have a locked key for an E-90 but no corresponding CAS for it. It was left by a customer because the FOB was broken. I'm using the IM508S with XP400 Pro. Thank you

Does the IM508 need to be connected to the vehicle?
if you dont have the same car on the bmw keys you can use the xhorse keytool max and the wiping attachments.
So it can unlock a key already locked to another vehicle even if you don't have the original vin from the vehicle the locked key was from? In essence it can virginize a key even if you use the obd method and its plugged into the vehicle you want to program it too? I'm getting my im508 and xp400pro next week and was wondering if I can do this to virginize a key from a 550i even tho I don't know the vin and use my cars obd (535i) to unlock it then program the key to it. Sorry that was alot just tryna fully understand so I know if I should buy a blank key fob or not. Thanks
I think unlock by obd only work if you sit in key's original car, i mean the the key was worked for! Otherwise in other car you can not turn the ignition on to proceed to key unlock function menu, because it will ask you to turn ignition on!!

@@fabolousg4ever Nope. For Otofix you have a corresponding XP1 Pro which is an XP400 Pro equivalent.

No u can do it with xp200 keys only up to cas3
does this thing unlock newer malibu/camaro/caddy keys? like hy2ab/hyq2ea?

So I have a question for you, maybe you could educate me, I have 2011 BMW 335Is, I lost one of my 2 keys just like the one you are showing on this video, went to the BMW local dealership and ordered a new key with key fob ($300) , just like the one on this video, The key is link to my car locks and unlocks the door and start the car but the confort access doesn't work with the new key, the dealer is asking for another $300 to program confort access WTF, Does your AUTEL IM508 do this programming? Or is the dealer bull shitting me again?
As far as i am aware you need atleast one smart key available to make a new smart key...
Also the maximum amount of smart keys allowed is 2. (You can delete keys from the car also)
I have 5 keys all locked I was only able to unlock 1 doing this method I’m not sure why but tomorrow I will try OBD and see if I have any luck lol

All keys i are locked.

audi and vw. all you have to do is remove the id48 chip in the key and replace it with a blank chip and your key is good. mb keys are a head ache unless you have aftermarket be keys that are easyly resettable. factory benz keys have a circle in the infared area on the key and the be keys are all semi see thru. Never touched a skoda

Both of my E90 keys start the engine but don't unlock or lock the door. Do you think this is a program issue? I think if the key run the car it is already programmed isn't it?
Are you sure the battery's are good in the remotes and the remote frequency is correct for that vehicle.
Oh your saying your regular keys stopped unlocking and locking the doors common issue battery dieing in oem remote get new aftermarket key and when you program the new key in you will be good to go and the new remote will lock and unlock the doors.
I replaced battery and cleaned inside the fob. In Both keys there were sign of water. One of them must be original but the other one look like oem because date on the board is 2015 although car is 2009 and board is different. Still both keys don’t lock or unlock the door. Previous owner told me that they need programmed but they start the car and I think they’re already programmed. In this case can it be program issue? I don’t know the history of the car. Maybe they are broken down because of water.
@muratyelkovan7533 program new remotes will fix that problem and you will be good to go.

I tried to write vin to instrument on renault scenic 2, because it was changed. But it say ecu already configured. I dont know how to unlock that to write vin.
You have to have the same car that it's registered to to unlock it
