All keys lost programming with Autel MaxiPRO MP808TS: 2003 - 2007 Accord

- In this video, I do the all keys lost programming procedure with the Autel MaxiPRO MP808TS on the 2003 - 2007 Accord. This function does not require the use of an existing or master key. I also demonstrate how to add a key to the vehicle using an existing key. This same procedure will work on a number of Honda and Acura cars. It demonstrates car key programming without a master key.

Thank you for this video, specifically how you walked the viewer through both approaches. User manual wasn't written intuitively enough for me to visualize what you ended up demonstrating rather well. Kudos and thank you for helping me understand how to use this device to program a new immobilizer key on a Honda Odyssey I've got waiting for me tomorrow. 😂
Thanks mate! All the best tomorrow 💪🏼
Probably the only how to video where the host actually answered everyone’s questions.
Good guy.
I’ve got the Autel 808TS.
I have to add a new spare key and hope that this will program all my keys.
Wonder what the dealer charges to program them.
Just want to be sure so I don’t wipe out my keys and can’t program them and will need towed as well…haha.
2008 Odyssey Touring model.
Thanks for the compliment!
Considering that the car is the 3rd generation immobilizer, I expect it to program the keys. You can start with adding a key if your scared lol. Adding keys won't delete existing keys. I have no clue what the dealer charges. Let me know how it goes! Is your Autel the MK or MP?
@@DIYAutoworksNG
It’s the MK808TS.
Update: I went out there at almost 11:00 tonight and was able to program my new key just like you said and use the add a key selection.
It worked flawlessly by following the prompts and was identical to yours in the video.
Had to work quick and pull out the original key and replace with the new key within so many seconds and followed the prompts.
It worked first try successfully
And all the other keys worked just fine.
I got freaked out though because when I turned off the ignition and went to pull the new key out it came half way out and bound up.
It went back into the slot fine but stopped halfway again when pulled out.
I ended up giving a firm yank on the key and it came out with some resistance.
I put it back in the hole and cycled it a few times and it worked fine since.
The edges of the new key are a bit sharp so I may polish them a little smoother tomorrow on a polishing wheel.
Thanks man…..your video gave me confidence and we all learn from others mishaps.
Hope my experience can help others as well with a 2008 Honda Odyssey.
I need to subscribe to your channel….thanks again.😊
Great it worked well for you! Yea, the key edges need to be dulled.

Thanks man. Very helpful video. I got the same tool so easy to do it with videos like this. Please keep posting those videos. Thanks again
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing such informative video.
After watching ur videos regarding this scanner I purchased same scanner tool.
Thanks again
You're welcome. Congrats on your purchase!
Thank you, it was a great video and a great help!

Hey great video.
I buy and sell from an auction and some times they have a deal i want and it doesnt have a key.
My question to you is can you recommend a system that serves all cars?

Hi there!
I have purchased recently couple of blank keys for my
2002 Honda C-RV, cut them and found out they are with T5 chips.
I have AUTEL MaxiPRO MP808BT try to program them and it didn’t work.
I found somewhere on the net these scanners cannot program T5 and clone chips.
I was thinking maybe i can just cut out the current T5 chip and epoxy in one that will work!?
Problem is i have no idea what chip i need
Maybe You could help me find what i need?!
What kind of chips You have on the blanks You use to program?
Thank You for Your help, and kind regards!

Will this unit make a fob key for a Dodge caravan 2014 using the same process of all keys lost?
I'm not certain. Best to check Autel's function coverage list. autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2
very good this video, which other manufacturers this autel mp808k also program
Thanks for the compliment!
I have also done a Toyota. There are several other manufacturers advertised but I am yet to program those vehicles.
i can use the autel mk808 in the accord 2007? all functions and diagnoses?
The MK808 will scan all systems in the 2007 Accord and also perform some special services through the Service menu e.g. Programming keys...
Can key programming done with Autel Maxicom MK808 BT Pro?
Is it possible that while programming the key, it may Corrupt the car computer or Key fob and unable to program any key and at the end not having any key at all?
Nothing is impossible. Important thing when programming keys is to follow the instructions to the letter. That's why a lot of scan tools have disclaimers when you open the key programming function.
The MK808BT PRO will program keys, but not all keys. It won't do cars with advanced immobilizer setups, e.g Benz, VW etc.
A good all-round scan tool with decent support for key fob and key programming. Doesn't do all keys but definitely does a lot. Considering getting this tool? You may get from Amazon: amzn.to/3mddOH1

Can I use this to add keys for a 09 Dodge Challenger??
I checked the functions menu and can confirm that the MP808TS is able to program ignition keys and key fobs on the 2009 Dodge LC-Challenger
Would this work on a EP4 Honda Civic from 2003?
Although I haven't tried it on this particular vehicle, I think it should work
cant wait to use mine hope it all ok iv brought it to extend my job limits hopefully i can do tyres now and some keys for my customers great video sir. are you in uk as im based in kent
Will definitely do tyres (TPMS) and some keys. It's a good all-rounder. Not in the UK, rather Nigeria.
bit hotter there sir hope your well cheers
Hej do you know if Theis works on an Audi A4 2004 car??
Hi,
Many thanks for watching! I checked the function viewer of this device and saw that "Key Matching" is supported on the 2003 Audi A4.
Manufacturers tend to describe things a bit differently and I am not sure exactly what Audi's Key Matching covers. From my quick scan of the Internet seems like key fob + keys. Not sure if it covers all keys lost reprogramming. If I get more details, I'll revert.
Let me get this straight lol. If I purchase a cut, not programmed key from gm and go to all keys lost and reprogrammed the new key to the vehicle, the old keys won’t work anymore unless I programmed them to work. Is that correct?
Correct! First check if the target GM is supported for key programming though.
But yea, all keys lost, removes every key record from the immobilizer.
Hi Captain Lock.
I shipped a vehicle to Africa, but the piece(key fob) that operates the remote is missing. The car operates with just the ordinary key now. Can you program another key, complete with remote key fob, using the vehicle information, vin, etc?
Depends on the vehicle. What car is it?
Is the device can do it too for jaguar s type 3.0 years 2000?
Not sure. Maybe check Autel function coverage tool autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2
hi quick question, i lost my key fob and i don’t have a replacement. Is there a way to program the door lock and unlock buttons on key fob with out a master key fob
Possible but highly dependent on the car. What car is it?
@@DIYAutoworksNG 2004 Honda Accord LX
As long as you have a working key blade, this is can be done. Just google programming key fob 2004 Accord
Hi do you know if this can be done on a 2003 audi a4 with this tool?

Hello did you try it on the audi A4 and did it work
Hi Martin,
I haven't hooked up this scanner to an Audi A4 in person. I only used the function checker tab on the tool to determine that it covers key assignment on the A4. You can also use the publicly available Autel tool to check this. autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2
If I can across an A4, I will check this.
Will this work for a 2007 Subaru Forester key fob?
Autel's coverage tool says 'key erasure' and 'key registration' are supported. Not sure key erasure equates to all keys lost for Subaru. You may contact Autel support to clarify. support@autel.com
Can you reset the ews with that
Yes, but depends on the car.
does this not ask for the IMMO pin code? I've seen another video where the pin codes are need to program keys. Is the pin code able to be obtained by the device itself? Without having to contact a dealership?
It comes down to the car. On this generation of Accord and Acura, the MP808TS programs without you having to enter any pin code!
@@DIYAutoworksNG I have the MX808, I'm not sure if that makes a difference
I think it should be same but not certain. I tried using Autel's vehicle coverage tool (autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2) but Accord's are not listed but specific years. I should be using the AP200, which is equivalent to the MK808(and by extension the Mx808), to repeat this programming video. Stay tuned for that.
Will This device work for an Infiniti G 37 2012
@@tonyapodaca8696 no you need a code. Which requires another step. Hondas and acuras are easier
I'm about to go follow your lead see how it goes
Cool. 👍🏼
Great content, very helpful. But why you don't start the engine after the programing?
Thanks for the compliment. Yea, I should have done that...
good question
Do you need to do updates all the time ?and does it cost money
Updates are at your discretion. 1 year is given free and after that there's an annual fee for updates.
thanks .just one question where to get cut key from
I used a locksmith in my locale.
Thank you
hello m8 great video.would this work for a renault clio 2007?
Hello,
Many thanks for the compliment! I used the function viewer to confirm that the MP808TS can assign keys for the Renault Clio 2007. Just to be sure "key assignment" covers all keys lost, I will ask autel support.
Thanks!
Great Video. If I use Delete All Keys option, hopefully it will NOT delete the key I am using... Is that correct? Thank You.
It will delete all the keys, except the one you are present it and program to the car. You can add multiple keys while doing an all keys lost though.
Hi, how do i know which chip i need for my car? How do i check if i want to buy online
The FCC ID is usually stamped on the fob part of the key when you open it to replace the battery. You can also search online using your exact model, trim and market of manufacture.
Thanks for sharing. I did same thing, 2 keys worked but lost contact with keyless receiver and can't fix it. Any help to get key resync would be appreciated.
Have you changed their batteries? Have you checked for a loose connection at the receiver?
@@DIYAutoworksNG i have no idea where key receiver is located. Help
Is it a 7th gen Accord? If so, it's just under that panel that houses the door lock/window switches on the driver door.
Will this also work with 8th gen (2008) Honda Accord?
Yes
Will this work on a car from 2022 and can you do same thing with laptop?
Thanks!
In terms of working on 2022 cars, it depends on the car. Just a laptop will not so this.
2010 mazda3 security light flashing after instrument cluster was removed ,with old instrument cluster still flashing ,no turn over,No start any ideas
Sounds immobilizer related.
Where do you obtain the pass code? Where it asks you to enter the passcode?
It depends on the car, this car does not require you to enter a pin code or should I say the machine reads it directly.
can you do a ecm reset?
Yes. It does.
Look to get ds808k is it worth it
Good choice with bidirectional functions. Just be sure it covers the critical functions in the cars you usually work on.
maxidas 808 . can do this ?
Yep. Will do.
This machine made in which year??
I am not sure the exact year of Launch, but I know this tool was available since 2017, could be earlier. Thanks
Great and precise video.
Did you need any special connections for this apart from the obd2 port?
Also, if the master key is deleted (as you initially did), would the remote buttons still unlock the doors?
Thanks!
No other special connections save the obd2 port. I believe the key fob will still work as the immobilizer is different from the keyless entry system. I don't recall if I specifically tried to unlock the car after the master was deleted.
I want to buy this tool or the ms906bt. What is the diferrence? More activation and more adaptation?
Essentially the same device. The MS906BT has improved hardware and costs more, but note, the MP808TS is a full TPMS device while the MS906BT does not. If TPMS services are of interest, you should go with the MP808TS, if not and budget is not an issue, then the MS906BT for the improved hardware. Hope this helps.
Can you help me out..I lost my 2016 Avalon key
What help do you need?
hello sir. is it working for toyota wigo 2022. keyless
and how much does it cost?
I'm not sure. I recommend reaching out to Autel tech support.
Cost is between $800 - 1000
Hi mate
I've just bought a autel mp808 and I've been looking at how you do it it's a different menu when I go into key and immobiliser is there something I'm doing wrong or is it the wrong scanner and will I need one like yours.
Thanks
The Autel MP808 has the exact same capabilities as the MP808TS except for the TPMS functions.
What car are you using this on? Menus will appear differently depending on the car.
@@DIYAutoworksNG It's a peugeot partner
Can I still do it or is it a different menu
It should be available through the immobilizer menu from the service tab. If you share the other trim details/year, I can check on mine and let you know if it's available.
@@DIYAutoworksNG It's a 2010 mate
I checked the immobilizer menu on the 2010 Panther and because I didn't have the vehicle, I could follow to the final page to see if key coding is supported. That said, I used the function viewer and didn't see key coding listed. What function do you end up at when you explore the immobilizer menu?
does this procedure also reprogram the keyless entry?
Nope. You'll program the fob separately. This strictly for the immobilizer
@@DIYAutoworksNG Damn, problem is my keyless key is broken, it got water damaged. You gotta tutorial on programming a new key for keyless without a master key?
What car is this?
@@SPAZTICCYTOPLASM 😏
Do you have the entire AuTel kit. Or do you just have that tiny screen kit on its own.
Mine didn't come with the OBDI adapters. Some variants do.
@@DIYAutoworksNGHello Boss,I would like to learn this work, where are you located?
How much is that machine for key programming
Pricing fluctuates, but link in the description has the current cost info.
the MP can do this !?????? I had one and went out and bought the IM508 !!!!!
Yep. I 508 will be handy when it comes to cars with advanced immobilizer systems. Mercedes et al.
You are using a key in the ignition - how is that all keys lost?
You must have a key cut to turn the ignition in other to program. It's all keys lost because it wipes off every other key record that's in the immobilizer, hence the name all keys lost.
In addition for this car, you also don't need an already programmed transponder key to make the new key.
@@DIYAutoworksNG Ah, understood... need to work out how to get a key cut for the ignition, looking at many auction vehicles that have been taken by the finance company due to non payment and none have keys.
Why did you do "ALL KEYS LOST" at the first place, why didn't you just "ADD ADDITIONAL KEYS"?
I did the all keys lost just to demonstrate it for viewers. And to also clear a third key that I had in the immobilizer. I bought the car used and it came with only 2 keys.
@@DIYAutoworksNGso if I have a working key, it's not needed to do it by All key lost way. Can do it by Program another key function
With this scanner, is it possible to Program a 2nd spare key for Vauxhall Insignia 2009 Automatic Diesel OR which autel scanner can do vauxhall insignia key programming?
Can MK808BT Pro able to program a Vauxhall Insignia key?
Your best bet would be checking Autel's coverage list. autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2
A1sistam
Just so people understand. This function only works on certain vehicles..Some require a pin code and\or Locksmith License pin code as well...
Correct. It's always good to use Autel's coverage tool to check. autel.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2
You can also email Autel tech support to confirm coverage if the the website is unclear.
Any ideas where to got the code? Mazda dealership doesnt have it.
They are lying or maybe lazy. Does the car actually ask you for a pin code during programming? Not all cars do. If it does, a genuine dealer should have it. You could search online too. I've found a couple online.
@@DIYAutoworksNG Thanks! Yeah it does ask for the Pin Code, 4 digits. Its a 2007 Mazda5. First they said that the title wasnt proof enough for ownership, after some convincing, they said they didnt have it but their "Master Tech" said that I would have to have the car towed in, they would have to hook it up and send that information to Mazda to request a code. He said that there was no way that I could pull that information myself. From what I've read, if I have a Lucas immobilizer, I may be able to look for the pin if I have the serial number for the immobilizer. I'm going to try and take it out today to read the serial number on it.
Seen this? www.mazdaserviceinfo.com/pats-codes
It looks exactly like Autel Maxitool MX808S which does the same thing and same price
Yes, exact same look. Though the MX808 does not support coding and full TPMS function. The MP808TS does those.

Will this work for my 2002 Volvo S60 model Turbo
I checked both the tool and Autel's website. There is no support for key coding for this Volvo.

I guess you needed to buy the $400 device first.
