Recalling is what I usually practice.
When ever you force your mind to recall you’re absolutely doing a great job. And one bonus you’re expanding your memory capacity☝️
    Thnkz grace🙏

    1. Take notes on what you feel and what thoughts and questions come up
    2. Practice recalling what you read
    3. Reflect on the questions
    4. Develop a framework to teach what you read
    5. Pursue the next logical step From which you read
Continue the same for each book you read to increase the knowledge base.

This post has great advice overcoming the real life-everyday challenge of being able to remember more effectively, synthesise, and articulate. This one piece of advice is what I was looking to find for several years and here it is. I think this should change a lot of things for me going forward in the way I can deeply reflect, share, teach and implement the activities that I’m involved in. Thanks for bringing such a quality content.

Interesting advice. I use a modified version of this. I developed my own Cornell stationary.. when I take notes, the left page in my notebook is how Society has taught us to take notes… the regurgitation. The right page is what is taught here.

Wow! I came across one of your videos the other day and thought I'd check out more videos and what a right timing. This video gave me so much pointers as I am new in financial services. I'll definitely work on writing down questions after reading and reflecting on those questions. You're right, having the knowledge is not as effective if you're not able to transfer it to another individual. Will definitely work on that as well. Aloha!🤙🌸

    Hey doc.
I struggle to articulate when i am nervous. Sometimes its so bad i struggle with the grammatical side of things as well. Any tips would be appreciated.

    • @DrGraceLee
      @DrGraceLee  Год назад

Thank you for your comment, Raza. I appreciate your honesty and courage.😊
I understand your struggle with articulating when you are nervous. Nervousness is a common and natural emotion that can affect your speech and communication. It can make you feel anxious, tense, and self-conscious. It can also interfere with your memory, concentration, and fluency.
However, you don’t have to let nervousness ruin your speech and communication. You can learn how to manage your nervousness and speak with confidence and clarity. Here are some tips:
      1. Identify the sources and triggers of your nervousness
      2. Use breathing, relaxation, and visualization techniques to calm yourself down
      3. Prepare and practice your speech beforehand
Focus on the message and the audience, not on yourself
      4. Use positive affirmations and feedback to boost your self-esteem
I hope you find my videos helpful and informative. Try to apply the tips to your own speech and you’ll definitely see a difference in your nervousness and articulation.

Makes sense. 💡 In high school and college enjoyed just listening and took less notes than most of my friends; apparently, no harm done. 😊 I plan to write down at least one question a day about something I have read or viewed on RUclips. 👩‍🦳

I watch your videos for my general education because many apply to any area of our life. So the question that popped into my head was: Does asking a question about a "side" video count or should I also always ask a question about the topic I read about everyday that I am trying to understand most fully. The answer for me was--make sure I am set up and organized (some things this question made me think about) to methodically ask question(s) everyday about the topic I am most passionate about.😊
