- Apologies for the awful quality--it was a rushed video done on a broken phone. But, wanted to share this quick reading from an ongoing event set up by Stygian that will continue in the spring.
Next video will be the start of a short series that will begin with "The Cartesian Landscape" and lead to Sartre's reading of Husserl, Hegel and Heidegger in regard to the Other.

Whenever Pae posts a video, it's the best thing to happen on RUclips that day. Thanks also for the poem! It was really wonderful to hear your work.
Thank you my friend! You are always appreciated here!
Didn’t expect my man Pae to rock the Beaver hat
That beaver hat is actually one of my favorite things I own due to how I got it haha it is a good hat.😅
The 1:34 “Idk, who cares!”spoke to me 😁😂 but seriously, beautiful writing 👏👏👏
Hahah, that two second moment is my favorite part of the whole thing 😅 and thank you very much.😊
Nice reading. I like those lines, especially "to force the invention of the inventor."
Thank you so much Jeremy! I have been thinking about other readings I could do, and your poetry came to mind. You may get an email from me in the future on an idea.😎🤔
@@attention5638 I would be honored if you read some of my poetry.
I always love hearing your original works - especially in person! A captivating expression of thought.
...Next time I just need to remember to bring a tripod, or get a steadier hand haha
That is good to know, as you will be hearing a lot haha. And yes, I have a bunch of smaller tripods I will have to remember to bring next time.
Suggested title: THE ORIGIN OF THE RIVER (Stygian reference). Excellent poem.😀
Hey Steven! Thank you so much for listening. It is always terrifying to share poetry on this platform haha😅
@@attention5638 no thanks needed...good shtick deserves an audience. But you are welcome, sir.😀
Thanks for not disappearing, Pae and thanks for the poem. 😊💙
Thank you so much! I have been a bit under the weather recently, and it is really nice to hear someone can appreciate this. 😊
@@attention5638 Hope you’re feeling better. 😊
Have I ever seen you wear a hat before? 🤔 I don't think so... but I totally like it!!! 🤗
A title is not needed
for temporal notes that are
nothing to a human ear
until it does impart.
If hermeneutics lets us sing,
grace conceals dread in reseting.
I think you wrote a lovely poem and I especially like the line “to objectify the spirit and detach from the world”. No title is ever needed for poetry, but that’s just my opinion. Take care of yourself my friend. 😊
Such art!
Thank you so much! And always appreciate an artistic comment! I never title a poem until I know I will never do anything with it. Titles are like locks, and once they are on, I can't access it anymore haha
"A poem I don't remember writing," lol. That's concerning... But it's a really pretty poem!
Oh, I have written whole novels I don't remember writing haha. I also haven't written a full poem in over fifteen years, so that could be it, in this case haha
Very nice! Was just thinking of you the other night, went to an event at the local art museum and there was poetry reading which I'm sure you would have appreciated more than me (I get lost in the references). Hope you're doing well!
Emilee! So great to hear from you! I was going to send an email the other day, but as I convince myself I am always a bother to others, I convince myself to continue to hide haha😅 Hope you have been keeping well!
@@attention5638 Please do write! I’ve missed the occasional check in and your Christmas card was unhappily shelved when I realized I had no address for it since your move!
@@authoremileeharris1645 I just wrote it in my schedule, as I am just terrible with emails, as everyone that knows me is well aware haha. But! I will message you this week, and we should catch up very soon!
Are y'all accepting poetry for the anthology?
