Thank you so very much for your help. It turned out perfect which is the first time since i lived in NO! You are awesome. Im hooked on your channel now.
Okay dude I must say, I made this step by step on the video and it came out delicious. This was an awesome video. However, I did change it up a little the 2nd time I made this dish. Not because I thought I could make it better, but because I am trying to eat a little healthier. I substituted a smoked turkey wing for the ham hawk and tomato basil mozzarella chicken sausage for the andouille sausage. It still came out delicious, but you already laid down the footprint. Thanks for sharing Tony.
Definitely gonna try your way Tony for some beans bro!!! ;-) I've got one of those xl 10qt cookers, but its having issues sometimes building up pressure before starting to cook. Any ideas what it might be??? I use it a lot for me and the boys. Doesn't happen all the time. But sometimes it will heat up and start its cooking cycle without building up pressure and sealing and locking the lid.
@@bigtone317 i was checking the comments for just this 😁 thank u!. i made this a few months ago and it was amazing but i couldnt remember if i soaked the beans. now i know 😁 also, a apicy twist i did last time was use spicy chicken broth! yum!
Your red beans sure look good though you sure use a lot of salt. Also the trinity is onion, celery, and GREEN pepper not yellow or red though its your food so its okay of course. Just sayin'
Hahaha I'm with you David. I like using different types of smoked meats depending on who I'm making it for and it all came out great. I prefer a smoked turkey wing because it's less fatty but I use smoked ham shank when I make it for others because it's more meatier than the smoked ham hock. But all 3 are awesome. One downside to the turkey wing, too may little bones when it's done.
I've done Red beans and ham hocks before and adding salt at the beginning caused the meal to be way too salty. I now wait until the end after tasting before I salt. Ham hocks and ham shanks have a lot of salt already. Just my two cents. Enjoyed the video. Looks good.
LOL I wrote everything down on my sticky note pad on my phone. I make this about once a month and always had to go back to the video. Now I just open up my sticky note.
This is 3rd world food, this is what they ate everyday in Belize when I lived there.,.FFS, post something new, How is this a one pot meal when you cooked everything before hand,,Dont post anything else

When do you put the rice in? I didn't see it in your ingredients?
He never says anything about the rice until the end. What kind of rice? Is he cooking it separately and then adding? That part was completely missing!
Wow 😲 Finger licking good! Thank you for sharing your tip and awesome 👏 recipe! Hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 to you for a
Fabulous food Hit!
THANK YOU!! do u release the pressure, or let it release naturally with this dish?:

Where did the rice come from?
Should I boil my pig feet before I put it in the pot
Great video but why did you use the meat and chicken function instead of the bean function?
Dashawn Merriweather thanks only because I didn’t soke the beans and that setting gets hotter faster that’s all ....and thanks
Your welcome and thank you

You need to list the recipe's with the related video for those fans who want to print the ingredients and instructions.

Love watching your XL cooking vids.👍👊👍
I would like to use pig feet should I boil them first
I want to try this, but when did you add the rice. Was it already cooked?
Yes I pre-cook the rice I cook the rice separately
Thanks
BTW a pressure cooker is the most fool-proof way to make perfect rice.Just use equal parts rice and water.
Came to say the same thing, he was very thorough about instructions and times but never put the rice in! Wasted my time.
You’re adorable.

It isn't 3rd world food, just because, it is eaten in Belize doesn't mean it is 3rd world food.
Don't comment on anyone else's video again.
FFS, Michael, Please...let this be YOUR last post.
