I like the way you cook! I’m a southern girl and greens are the bomb with a good slice of cornbread! I like this easier way of cookin them. Thank you!!! What do you do with mustard greens? They’re hands down my favorite!!
I just bought the exact same pressure cooker and in cooking today in it for the first time. Cooking greens and was clueless as to which button to press and for how long. Thanks!
Hello BigTone, just found your site tonight as I'm cooking collards & ofcourse that's not in the recipe book! Thank you so much. You have a new fan. Will come back & let you know how it comes out. P.. I always add a tablespoon of vinegar & a little brown sugar. I can't taste either one but it's tastier with them for some reason. Be back soon 😗
Brother that was an outstanding VIDEO. I use the pressure cooker for my meat for my greens but then I finish on stove. I will DEFINITELY try this. I just subbed.
Been binge watching your channel -subscribed- can't wait to try this as well as your oxtails. You are awesome! Love your seasonings especially Mike Lawry's, lol. Keep cooking, you rock!
I just bought the power cooker pressure cooker and have done ham hocks and 15 bean soup, more like a stew, but it was the best I have ever done, first time in a pressure cooker,, I'm going to try collard greens next, but all the other instructions I have seen say to cook the greens for anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes, 2 hours really seems like a super long time,, will they come out mushy? Is it just a preference to cook that long? I'll try the 30 minute time first,, I guess I can always turn back on if need longer,, but 2hours???
I cooked mine using “meat” function for 40 minutes and they melted in my mouth. My son loved them but I thought they were WAY over cooked. Now I cook for 20-30 minutes. Salt in wash water is a great tip.
Great content
They was the Bomb
Enjoying your videos, love greens and you settled the old argument about smoked ham or smoked turkey! You got my vote, I subbed
