Do nearly all fine lines come with silicon tools & craft knife like tools( scraper ) or am I not seeing correctly? So glad you admit to mistakes & have an answer to them. Such fine work with rough/ thick pastels! Thanks.
Thanks John. I was cringing when I saw you use the dark blue/black first, but fascinated to see how you used the colour shaper and toothpick. Can you use linseed oil instead of turpenol? Or do you need the solvent to make the pastel dry? I am looking forward to watching you finish this. Take care. ❤
Hi, yes I don't know why I went that way round......loss of concentration I expect. Anyway ,I used the turpentine as Linseed Oil will not dry and is very impeding to oil pastels in my opinion. That said ,I have gone back to the drawing board (excuse the pun) and will be starting afresh soon but will explain what I have done and will be doing in another video when that time comes!
It’s great to see how you recover. And your patience with details! Hat tip to you.

My channel will show all mistakes unlike others and how to rectify them!
