We need a knight/paladin class in this game. It feels strange without one.
I know what you mean. I have a hard time imagining a Necromancer as a "Hero" type character. Considering they're always considered to be a Evil Archtype of Villains. Doesn't change the fact that the Necromancer is super fun to play as.
They usually bring out crusader in the first big patch or something don’t they

Witch doctor was made for D3 to replace the necro and Druid originally so yeah I agree
But they also split the assassin into its archery/traps(demon hunter) and it’s martial arts/melee(monk) but I’ll be honest D2 and D4 has better class selection
All 5 of the witch doctor players will disagree but I will say I do like the demon hunter they’re iconic to Diablo now

As a former witch doctor main and playing a druid on my first play through (in progress) I both confirm and deny this claim you can definitely feel the somewhat which doctor esque play but anything you summon just kinda feels like demon hunter companions if anything Necro took which doc out druid is there so they have something other than wizard for magic users

@@kroolini3678D4 is certainly more muted in style, but I feel like each of them has pretty distinct vibe. I have some complaints about the D4 character customization, but overall I think it’s pretty good.
@@kroolini3678personally d4 is so much more fun than d3. D3 didnt even feel like the diablo i knew from d2. D4 brought it back to its roots and took the best parts of the other games. It actually feels like a dark game again

I dunno, the diablo 4 necromancer looks a little too young for my taste. I prefer the battle worn rugged sixty year old blowing dead boddies up and dragging up skeletons from nowhere

Went back and played diablo 3 recently and was surprised at how good it looked for an 11 year old game, but compared to diablo 4 it looks like dragonball budokai

Desperately need to bring back the D2 paladin, roster hasn't been the same without him.
They kinda all died off though and were replaced with the crusader class. Plus with heaven being closed/it might be a part of hell now, they wouldn’t be able to access holy power like that anymore.

My only issue with Diablo 4 is body type. Why did they not make it so you can choose your body type makes no sense to me.

Since it's all about top down silhouette. You can't recognise at a glance the necro if he is as buffed as a barbarian.
That was definitely a very low priority for the devs because you don’t ever really see your character up close, that may matter significantly more in a 3rd person RPG like dragon age or something but in Diablo 99% of the game is top-down silhouettes and your usually too focused on the carnage that fills the screen to worry about how your character’s face looks lol.
They knew most people wouldn’t give a fuck. Plus each of the classes are supposed to very distinct in appearance to show character so if you gave players the option to make a jacked Sorcerer or feminine-looking Barbarian it would be incredibly jarring and kill the distinction of each class.
Each class is their own character essentially. That’s something Diablo has always done
@@shaunkennedy174 it's called being lazy. If you wanna talk about why it isn't a priority then why even offer customization at all? Why choose a face,hair,eyes,tattoo at this point. Your argument doesn't work in this situation lmao, it's pure laziness by the devs just like other isometric games like PoE. You can easily add customization and allow the camera to zoom onto your character to see armor and etc it's just they chose not to and you would rather defend them then admit that they completely could of added these in if they are going to even offer customization options. It's like saying it's pointless for making your own character in cyberpunk 2077 because you don't get to see them besides a few cutscenes and driving vehicles. Yet it's still there because people like to play as a character they make. And if you want to make the argument oh D4 is isometric camera and not a first person RPG like cyberpunk then why did Lost Ark a Isometric camera MMO allow you to zoom in and take pictures? Granted the game is shit but they still had it
It’s called inbreeding , the lore of these classes all stem from major inbreeding. Tight tight tight genetics not much variation at all. So what do u get ? NOT MUCH VARIATION AT ALL

I love a new Diablo game because I know it’s gonna be a game for the next 10 years at least. Also am so hyped for the mmo elements I always wanted more “online” in Diablo games so dungeons and world bosses etc I’m sold

@@mulhollanddrivehobo6910 it’s not what I think it’s what Diablo is. Diablo 1 lasted 4 years. Diablo 2 lasted 12 years until D3 released, Diablo 3 lasted for 11 years till now and still ppl playing it… Diablo 5 would release or be announced sometimes around 2035

If they bring back the witchdoctor they got to bring back the necromancer command skeletons move to attack a single Target that's what made those two classes different in D3 and they brought it over to immortal but why the heck do they not have it in D4 I'm so sad after my playthrough of Diablo 4 necromancer just doesn't feel right without it
@@Ziyoblader It's kinda frustrating as Necromancer in D4 when you're trying to focus down one enemy in a mob, and you can't cuz your minions are just attacking whoever they want and you have such relatively low dmg output yourself (at least in my experience)
@@Vesmir789 oh yeah specially when you're trying to chase a goblin we're comparing to Diablo 3 you could just have your skeletons attack it and we would freeze especially if you had the freezing skeletons it helped out the party greatly in capturing and destroying the treasure goblins

I loved d3. I love the animation I love how the cap is like 3k paragon... and an offline mode. For those with out great wifi. Plus the battle animation is better. I just wish they didn't stop doing updates for it anymore . Last season

Is it me or Diablo 3 characters look more "God-like" and Diablo 4 looks like humans (suggesting Inarius weakening them in the past 50 years)
They are supposed to, Diablo 3 characters are Nephalem, with powers stronger than Demons and Angels. And in Diablo 4, your characters are just people, because Nephalem are still incredibly rare. Its not because of Inarius though, the thing he used to suppress Humanity's powers (The Worldstone) was destroyed in Diablo 2, 70 years ago.
D3 definitely better but d2 will always be the best classes

Imo, graphics don't matter too much in a diablo game. Diablo 3 graphics were good enough since we don't really give too much of a damn to what our character looks like from the screen with all the insane skill spam
Been playing with necromancer since the witch doctor is not in d4. To be honest the necromancer skills aren't as interesting as the witch doctor's. Hopefully blizzard adds the witch doctor class in d4 at some point

It's the only class I want to play. All the others are basically just me spinning my wheels until something fun comes along.
We need crusader for DLC
they need a paladin but make it more support and cc then before. to replace the witch doctor i suggest a new class a gypsy adventurer type class. kinda like the speaker magicians in castlevania lore wise but these traveling gypsies travel for knowledge. the gypsie warrior aspect is a combination of gypsie sword dances but they confuse or debuff the enemy. they can be mirages and use magic. the best version i think is that their buffs last really long that you can prepare before a big fight using them to raise critical chance, dodge and even increase resource gain.
