When people talk about Karl Malone in relation to Jordan, not only did Jordan cost him two championships, he cost him five scoring championships as well
Thought of possibly a interesting segment or topic. Could you choose a starting 5 using only players outside of the NBA top 75 list that would either be subjectively competitive or beat the NBA 75 starting 5 lineup. My lineup - C - Joel Embiid F - Pau Gasol SF - Tracy McGrady SG - Klay Thompson PG - Kyrie Irving Bench - C - Alonzo Mourning PF - Chris Bosh SF - Jason Tatum SG - Luka Doncic PG - Tony Parker
Malone isn’t better than Barkley. Not only was Barkley a better all round player, Malone played with Stockton (arguably a top 3 point guard all time) his whole career.
barkley got drafted into a title winning team in philly, had elite teams in phoenix and houston as well. barkley was way less efficient and the only thing he was better at was rebounding.
@@brentw0681Barkley actually scored at an incredibly efficient shooting rate despite being a shorty at Power Forward. Barkley was a strange animal. Malone's longevity is nice but Barkley in 86-87 had 2.2 spg and 1.6 bpg 14.6 rpg, 22.8 ppg or so on 56% or higher shooting percentage. With like 4-5 apg. Barkley was better than Malone at least from 85-93 ish... maybe that's when Malone takes him over and Malone wasn't bad himself from 86-93 but like is said Barkley was like a hybrid of SHAQ, Moses Malone, Alvin Robertson and Andrew Toney in one player. I think Barkleys is an underrated all time defender. He made plays. He never lost that fair even until 1999.
Is Malone the best player in Jazz history?
Once you run the #'s it's hard not to say Karl Malone isn't 👍
YES!
I can't think of 17 players better than him on the court
If you could, he’d be 18th. I see your point though 👊🏾

There are a lot of Jazz fans who will argue Stockton was better, myself among them.
His Jazz teams would have destroyed Lebron’s teams
nah
Putting Malone in front of Dirk?
Easy
