One title is a accomplishment and I am not diminishing the work involved but one title ain’t $🤫🫡🤬 in the world of multi champions bill russell had 11 and they still wrote NR on his walls and pooped in his bed 🛌
Big fan of Nick, so I feel compelled to provide some added context about Barkley: 1. Barkley should have 2 MVPs (finished 2nd to Magic in '90 despite having the most 1st place votes). 2. Lost to Hakeem in '94 & '95 in 7 games, but he played hurt in both series. In '94 his back was so bad he had to take a pain-killing injection before Game 7 and 2 at halftime (still avg. 23 & 13 for the series). In '95 his bad knee again caused him to take 2 injections at halftime of Game 7 (avg. 22 & 13). This is why he contemplated retirement after both seasons. He was great at less than 100%, but a healthy Charles likely yields different outcomes both years. Also Danny Manning, Barkley's highest scoring teammate, was hurt and missed the '95 playoffs. 3. Barkley lost to the eventual champion 4 times in 5 years in his prime. He also lost 3 playoff series on 3 of the most memorable playoff 3s in history (Paxson, Elie, Stockton)--that's just tough luck. 4. Chuck's best teammate in his prime years was Kevin Johnson. Look at the other guys on Nick's list--Jordan had Pippen, Kareem & Magic had each other, Shaq & Kobe had each other, LeBron had a bunch of dudes. Give Charles another top 25 guy in their prime years together and we'd all be counting the rings they'd have. 5. Higher offensive rating than Jordan, LeBron & Curry. Lower defensive rating than Kobe, Durant & Moncrief. Higher PER than Kareem, Malone & Giannis. Higher win shares/48 than Duncan, Shaq & Russell. 6. Barkley was the best player and leading scorer on the original Dream Team, arguably the greatest team ever assembled in sports. Also led the '96 Dream Team in scoring and rebounding. Moral of the story: Charles Barkley should be higher than 18.
@@YouCallThataKnife253 you are correct, individually Barkley was the superior player. Dwyane wade was incredible but individually there is no way you can put him above barkley.
The 1993 playoffs too is a funny 1. Round 1 they had to be the first ever 1 seed to lose the first 2 games at home to an 8 seed - they did win the next 3 to move on past a Lakers team that played outta their skin. Finished with like 31 & 14 game 5 and averaged like 28 & 14. Went on to become the first team to lose the first 2 games at home in a finals series 😂😂
Barkley was a better hooper than Malone. Malone played with the best point guard of all time and was coached by Sloane who gave him structure. Barkley is the better player.
i love nick but this list is becoming more and more irrelevant. charles at 18 after the luka controversy. i will not give my time to this least anymore
@@Floridasavage24 people's eyes so smeared with ESPN logic about rings and norelevant stuff when u compare players, this is not greatest teams of all time and your participation in it, This is greatest best players, Luka is giving bussines to all player behind him easy, and to much players in front of him too...People only care about ESPN logic, cant use their own eyes.
Where would Barkley rank with a title?

11th
18th...but without one he is closer to 25 than 20....he is like 23rd for me...d wade is better
Charles Barkley's rebound numbers are ridiculous He was 6'5 !
He is 6 5 ahahhahahah, dont put him in the ground :D :P
Charles Barkley one of NBA best hall of famer
S. Moncrief, B. Lanier, and Marques Johnson - what a team!

Charles does have the highest single game score game in playoff history
The second series against the Rockets, Barkely was hurt but took him to seven.
Charles is amazing. My issue is above D wade tho…
Dwyane Wade doesn't have an MVP. Also, Charles was always the best player on his team with the exception of his first season
@@YouCallThataKnife253 cool. Charles doesn’t have a ring. D wade has one Bc he played like a god in the post season
@@sasukelownwolf he also had Shaq. Tbh, I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong, just providing an alternative

Chuck is Top 15
I have him top 15 too
Chuck is no doubt a great player, but he is not top-20 in the last 50 years. One can argue he should be anywhere 21st-23rd.

"Luka is an all time great!" Maybe Nick's adopted Slovenian son is already ranked higher than barkley
The problem there is Doncic is too high. This is about right for Charles Barkley tbh, maybe a little lower but anyway...
Ask ur self if you was starting a nba team who you picking first Luka or the people who came before him on this list 🤔
