Hey Jeff, great video. I'm wondering if you'd ever consider doing more Jon Theodore Mars Volta groove breakdowns/tutorials. The one you did on eunuch provocateur might just one of the best drum tutorials I've ever seen. I love your approach and I'd love to see more of those more complicated grooves broken down by someone who really understands Jons playing. The 7/16 section in inertiatic, the bridge of roulette dares or the awesome groove in Drunkship would be my top requests just because I can't for the life of me figure out those parts just like I couldn't figure out Eunuch. Anyway hope you see this. Love your videos man

Are those ghost notes you're playing on the snare? Can't hear them so can't tell if they're part of the song or not. I know some drummers add notes to the snare that are really hard to hear but in this case I can't tell.
Yes they are and I can hear them. And while you say you can't hear them, if you heard it without them, you could probably "feel" the difference.
