- This week, I wanted to imagine what it might be like if Jim Adkins hired Blink-182 to be his backing band on Jimmy Eat World's 'Sweetness' - and it turns out that it's quite a bop. Hope you enjoy the format and let me know in the comments what other supergroups you'd like to see!

The Sweetness is one of my all time favorites and one of the few songs I vividly remember when it came out. Jimmy Eat World are an amazing band and mashing them into a supergroup is a fantastic idea

Omg ALEX ARE YOU KIDDING?! 😍😍😍 Jimmy Eat World was one of my first concerts (2005 with Taking Back Sunday and The Format -- I was 15). I didn't see Blink until 2009 on their first reunion tour but it was still good. I didn't know how great they would be as a ✨️combo✨️!

@@johncostello4565 Funnily enough, my very first concert in 2003 also had The Format as an opener! (Along with Mest and Something Corporate, and Andrew McMahon is my favorite to this day). I miss The Format still, even though fun. is okay hahaha.

@@the.seagull.35 Your comment made my day... every night at bedtime since my daughter was two or so we have listened to **all kinds** of music (Dusty Springfield, Jimmy Eat World, Arthur Lee/Love, George Strait, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Unwritten Law...) for a half hour or so, then I read to her for half an hour, giving the book characters their own voices as best I can. She has an immense range of musical interests which I hope will provide her with comfort, strength, energy, and determination throughout the ups and downs of life.
