Active Exhaust is a must have. It's awesome being able to control how loud the exhaust is. In the city, I always keep mine in sport mode. Driving long distances, quiet mode so I can listen to music.
I find aftermarket exhausts sound like ass on the coyote (s197 borla guy here) I think the active exhaust sounds faaaantastic! Older guy here (48). Stupid loud > been there dun that
The Ford website is meaningless for the actual purchase, when you buy it at the car dealership with the options you want and Ford builds it .... you get a green window sticker.
That's what I told myself 😂😂😂when I got my 17'gt premium I got the package don't need 2 do any upgrades. But I did resanator delete and got H pipe installed looking 2 do full exhaust upgrade at some point. Got my car lowered painted brakes Ferrari red. Went matte black on rims, racing stripes, quarter windows, tailights, front light covers, badges, goes well with plat. White color. Also spruced up engine bay and went with red carbon fiber Dash kit.. So I guess I did moded it up some... 😂😂😂
Ricky Rick The active exhaust is amazing. If anything just get a set up that’s compatible with the active exhaust. You can get a corsa catback that is compatible and sounds mean as hell yet still changes tones with the different exhaust modes.
i agree with this, me personally no need for active exhaust just mod your exhaust leave it loud lol no need to change the tone i want my stang to be an angry mutha efer
I got a ‘22 base gt with black out package and active exhaust. First thing I did was window tint and an H-pipe. Gonna get rid of carbon trap today. Suspension mods are gonna be next.
The base GT actually has Brembo brakes on the front. They just don't advertise it as such and they don't paint them red. You can tell by looking at them that they're Brembos.
Great video man 👍 I recently reviewed a 2018 Mustang GT and I completely agree that you can be diligent about the options you select and save a lot of money on a really nice Mustang. Those options add up quick! Awesome car overall though 👌
Thanks 🙏 bro - I actually just watched your video...Really high quality and statistics! Keep up your videos my friend and keep up the great work with the Corvette- I need to race that vette one of those days 😉
If you're going to do the PP equivalent on your own, you're going to need the PP brake booster, the brakes, wheels and tires, a bigger radiator (maybe you can skip the oil cooler that way but you'll probably want it), a lot more spring rate (a $3000 coil over package equipped base model GT over at Vorschlag with wheels and tires and coil overs went faster around their local track than a stock C6 Z06), and probably a lot of other things. If you're going to do even one track day a year...you want the PP.
I'd think the best option would be the cross-traffic alert (the way people haul ass in store parking lots...while you're backing out from beside a big-ass pickup truck.) So it's like the fake electronic exhaust noise in the 4-banger Mustang? I guess my question is: Can Active Exhaust make your GT exhaust louder than a GT without Active exhaust? If not, I'd just as soon save the money. I'm not really worried about keeping the neighbors happy.
@@pjamese3 Both... Momma does not like a loud exhaust and that is what she gets. I like a louder not and that is what I get. EVERYBODY is happy. BTW all four settings give you a great note wihout drone which is a killer to me...
I got mine in race red with the premium, performance package, active exhaust, but without the digital cluster and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love it. Maybe it just depends on the person but that’s everything I wanted in a stock car.
I am 51 and my 22 GTP with the manual trans & gauges is going to be my last new car. Not interested in electrics or the new 7th gen with the Hundai trunk. I totatally agree with your choice on the non-digital cluster. I liked the digital displays in the 90's, they looked good and modern to my 90's eyes. I look at them now and they are dated and simply tragic, lesson learned...
By the way I work for a computer advertising company so it seems like I work 24 hours a day babysitting a computer making sure all the Advertising goes to the right cities so far you are the best at what you do with Mustangs so keep it up.
This video really helped! I am considering a stage 2 roush next year and will probably save mega bucks by skipping out on the performance pack, active exhaust and safety pack. There's a mustang shop near me and my first upgrade will probably be the brakes
The Life of Joe No that price is a total rip off. You can get GT350 spec Brembos for 3k. Or you can buy the brembos for the PP1 for around 1.5k. Personally the stock 4 piston brembos work pretty well.
Performance pack is actually a great value for what you get. Unless you're doing all the wrench work yourself, the labour costs alone of swapping brakes and the diff would cover half the cost of the package.
Its all about price negotiations, I just bought a 2020 Mustang GT Premium in Manual with the 401A interior, Black Accent Pack, Active Exhaust, B&O Speakers, and Ford Safe and Smart pack for $42,000 out the door. That's a fully loaded car for even $3,000 under the sticker of the red one you showed. It's about knowing your options, not knowing your limits. You can save money through negotiating with dealerships and putting them against each other to sell you a car. Never settle for sticker price.
Everyone chooses how they want to spend their money, but $50K for a Mustang GT is absurd. A couple grand more and you're in a 2017 GT350, a whole different ball game.
For $50k you can get a Premium 2018 GT, with Magna Ride and Whipple Supercharged to 800hp with 3yr/36k mile warrannty. Actually I was quoted something like $49354
Matt Lopez looked it up, states 39,995 im sure before TT&L and fees but holy shit. Says 2018 GT 300A with whipple sc and their tuner and will ship ordered car to you. Car in stock 4-6 weeks.
I just built a 2018 for about 44 and it’s exactly as you explained I knew the first thing that I didn’t activate exhaust. Love the videos man keep up the good work I have a 93 fox body coupe I might sell it’s just hard to part with to use as a cash down payment along with the 10% they ask for
2/6/18, That's nice if you want less car for more money. I have a 2015 Taurus LTD/awd; the only option I got (aftermkt) was a trailer hitch installed. Great car. Avoid 'Stang, SHO, Lincoln.........any of those flagship money pits. To each his own. ;)
agree on active exhaust; I like the louder sound if not in a homeowner neighborhood; but out of courtesy, I tone it down in my driveway and streets for the neighbors. Usually the only people liking the loud exhaust and loud music are the driver, and he thinks he is impressing people, but in fact most people do not like or appreciate the noise.
Hate to tell you bro but you should have waited. No offense but that one is way sweeter than what you got, just my opinion. Definitely agree with you on some of the things to not get. Not a big fan of all the nannys, will say blind spot is a must though. As always great vid sir.
After dumping about 4K in mods on my 2014, one of the reasons i got my 2018 was because I could get factory options that would get me everything I added to the 2014. You might save a few bucks doing it yourself but they won't give you anything for it when you trade it in. My sales guy completely ignored my list of add-ons and they aren't even including them on the list of options as a used car. The car is loud enough for me with the active exhaust and you can't put a good set of mufflers on a new car for $850. I spent about $2,500 in suspension parts for my 2014 and you still had to manually adjust the shock settings so I think the Magneride is defiantly worth it. I didn't want the Safe- and sound package because i don't want a bunch of electronic nannys messing with my drive - pay attention when driving and you don't need this stuff. The one thing you get with the S&S package is the my color ambience lighting throughout the car and that's the only way to get that if you want it. I learned my lesson with the last car so i'm only putting a few appearance items on this one. I did get a MGW shifter for it but I may not put it on because the 6 speed in this car is like night and day compared to my 2014 - shifts very easily and is not notchy at all. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the black wheels on the PP. Brembos make a lot of dust and just with the drive home from the dealer my wheels already have a film on them. I would have liked something in gun-metal.
I actually thought the performance pack is really necessary... for the better tires and the 6 piston brembo and the rear differential... I mean it can help u to save a lot of money
I bought my 2020 gt premium without the rain sensors, blind spot indicators, or the lane assist. In fact i got it with the analog tachometer. To tell you the truth. I missed those creature comforts at first but after driving the car I learned to not mind anymore. I guess it’s just less stuff to break down.
Since mustangs are now being sold in Europe, they added active exhaust because there’s a 95db limit in Germany. They wanted to make it louder but have same exhaust on European models
ImaRealPotato actually they are brembos. They are the 4 piston brembos carried over from 11-14 performance pack mustangs. If you get a performance pack ecoboost mustang they will in fact give you the 4 piston brembos. The brake caliper is just a standard color without the brembo labeling. I know trust me, I had a 2014 GT and 2016 GT. Soon to have a 2018 GT 😁.
Muffler deletes are usually the way to go... :D I did it to my WRX and love the sound now. For whatever reason it sounds better than Eco Mustangs with exhausts, no idea why.... Not the 5.0 though, lol.
Safe & Smart package is not just about safety. Has nice conveniences. Biggest one for me is the memory seats. Wife is much shorter than me. One tap and all is well. I use memory setting 3 to auto move driver seat all the way forward to allow rear passengers easy out.
I agree with some of this reasoning for not getting the factory add ons. Then again, not everyone is sponsored, as you are, and Ford provided some niceties for those that want a little more, but can't afford aftermarket. Yes, you made that clear, but don't discount why Ford did these things for those that can't afford aftermarket. I play in the aftermarket, and see how many people are turned away due to the cost. If they can feel they are close to that level with noise, and tech, let them have it. I get that this is an enthusiasts channel too. I am NOT ripping on you. I just feel Ford has done their average buyer/owner right with these, albeit expensive, add-ons, right. Great vid, and again, I agree with most, most of it. I know BLIS saved my ass a ton of times in my F150, but that fucker is a rolling blind spot! Hated that! Keep up the good work brother.
The worst problem with after-market parts? (besides cost of purchase) - is how much wrench-turning you are comfortable doing ... on a new car!!! Remember? ...Just recently... you had your car in the shop, for a week - while they were fitting some prototype modifications. Just think about the shop time required: install headers, install exhaust, install springs, install wheels..tires... install brakes.... bet, if you are like me, you were chewing nails for most of that time? Those are even during the best of times. Even worse, when it hits the fan, in the not so good outcomes - who bites the weeny - if they make a mistake? What if they (the shop is not quite as "skilled" as they claim to be or even worse; the shop is broken in to, catches fire or you have a complaint and they don't want to be "stand-up about either a warranty callback"? If the problem is a Ford package deal - its covered. I'm real particular about modifications on my car... I've had to reclaim my car from more than one shop; after they failed to do the work; either on time or up to the level of quality I expected. Matter of fact, one of the reasons I got into "Hot rodding - modifying my cars" back in teens/twenties... was running into shops which were better at "talking" a good game, not so good at producing a safe, quality, reliable package - after the fact. Even today - more times than I want to admit... I've taken my car in to have new tires installed...tires, nothing like changing springs or suspension. When I got the car back - they had scratched up the wheels, scraped the paint or worse! ... It was like that when you brought it in... or ... you have to expect a 'little' damage, it happens? If you want it done right - sooner or later, you either learn how to do it all - yourself, or get it optioned, from the factory, then get with a few friend (who you trust!)...then work on each others cars - so it gets done right - once - the first time! There are a few good shop, but they are not easy to find and they usually have a long waiting list and labor charges are "NOT" cheap.
It’s freaking me out because your cruising around and your like 3 miles from my house. 😂 I’m also a mustang owner. We should hang out sometime. ✌️ btw. If you see a black and blue 2017 shelby gt350 drive around, that’s me. Lol
Digital dash is the future, that's why I love my analog needle dash. Because 5-10 years from now, cheap $15,000 sedans will all use digital dash, and analog dash will be reserved for more expensive cars.
I bought an Eco last year largely because insurance at the times was $300mo more... now my insurance down I really want to trade up to a GT. Hard thing now is finding a good deal on one...
How do you save money piecing together PP options? 4k for the package...and you're already there with the wing, brembo's, and black accent package. There are a lot more goodies besides that in the package. As far as the exhaust...upgrade to the active exhaust only to upgrade the exhaust? Active was the upgrade. Rip out the resonator and toss in an H or X pipe and you'll have a radical sounding ride with every mode. The one thing you didn't mention as far as options to avoid is the magneride. I like it, but for the guys wanting to lower, the magneride has like one option so far....GT350 springs for a 22mm drop. Not much to that. For the record though..you're black stang looks badass.
Why not magneride? If people would learn how to set mirrors correctly the blind spot gadgets are not needed. Some vehicles side mirrors will not adjust out far enough to be used correctly. I like the realness of your videos. Hopefully I'll be getting a new ride in a year or two and this GT got my attention. I love a manual but I decided to get the 10 auto too. I'm thinking V8, auto, 3.55, magneride, roush supercharger and tuned. What you think? Plus anything I need for strength.
Thanks for the video.... I was looking to update from my beloved 2011 6MT GT, so I spec'd an '18 GT Premium manual with the new toys 'n' technology I wanted ... the price tag? FIFTY GRAND thanks to Ford's options packaging!!! And that was the "semi stripped" version where I gave up some of the things I wanted... I discovered I could buy a '17 Corvette for $2-3k more with most of the same tech goodies after all the year end sales and deals were applied. The "last year's model" wasn't an issue as the '18 'vette is identical to the '17 with the exception of a few color choices, and since I don't plan to sell the car for at least five years, it wasn't an issue... Price before the gooberment confiscated their fees was $52k. IMO I got better value with the 'vette, as it was designed as a sports car from the ground up, with every item tuned to that goal, and has better overall quality. It also has a decidedly larger "WOW" factor, as it carries the 65+ year Corvette cache' and you'll see only ONE '14-17 'vette for every THREE same period Mustangs on the road. Sadly, Ford priced themselves out of the market, but having bought the 'vette, I couldn't be happier.
The now orderable C8 Z06 with 690 N/A HP looks like a real game changer. Anything with a flat plane crank that makes supercar engine sounds gets my attention if it is more reliable than the GT350's 5.2. BUT that's far out of my price range for now. My 2019 GT premium mustang has loads of great features and cost $39k used, $36K after trade for a spec that cost over $50k new.
I just purchased the black on black 18 GT last week. It doesn't have the digital dash as I wanted but it does have the big screen stereo. I pretty much just got the basic. I'll be modifying the hell out if mine.
My pick if I could order one would be a PP2 with red recaros (not sure if that's possible) Either white exterior, red, or just a color that goes well with the red interior. 6 speed manual, possibly a 10 auto. navigation system, and digital gages.
Glad you finally checked it out. I've been waiting since I sent you that DM on instagram. Get well soon and that red on red with the blackout package looks 👍🏻
Like your car you got better, You cant buy the PP 1 options cheaper than the price ford gives them to you. The tires alone are worth 1500. I think the Base model performance package is the best way to go, got mine for 34,800 and really don't need all the techy shit.
SORRY lol NOW I TOTALLY GOT IT. Over read your first statment.. But how did you get it so cheap? Building mines incase dealer doesn't have one to my likings. Starting price is $35,995
My 2018 will be a Race Red 301a car with the Performance Pack and Active Exhaust. I got the Active Exhaust so I could use the quiet mode. Also you COULD get all the Performance Package parts, but they would be much more expensive
Just A Car Guy Named Tom that is pretty much what I have. I did an X pipe with the active and it sounds amazing wot but in quiet mode I don't wake my kids up in the morning. best of both worlds.
I love my active exhaust, and they sell Corsa exhaust with active exhaust tech which works with your buttons on the steering wheel. Corsa is so loud and you can quite it down.
Although I would typically agree that the active exhaust is a waste for someone modding their exhaust, I have to disagree simply from the standpoint of someone living in a state that bans any altering of stock exhaust. The active exhaust system on the 2018 mustang is one of the loudest, meanest V8 exhaust notes you’ll have the chance to legally own in my state.
I basically got the same magnetic 19 6speed PP1 I can agree I choose no magnaride no active exhaust because I knew I was going to modify. Although the active exhaust probably would have been a nice option then do a resonator delete with an H-pipe or X-pipe Active Exhaust is a $895 option
If you're not fully aware of where your car is in relation to the road and need to rely on technology to help you probably shouldn't be driving anyways.
Yeah I was only kidding about the trade in. Keep up awesome content ecobeast. I have a 14 v6 supercharged all good but ended up trading it in for the gt. So far only mod roush ab and thinking mrt or mishimoto h pipe! Only thing I’m concerned about waking up the neighbors lol
When I get a mustang in the future, quiet mode seems great for when you don't want anyone to think you're faster than you really are, like on the highway........ Hauling ass at *exactly* the speed limit..... With slower traffic.
Dude I'm glad you posted this. I'm getting mine when I get back from deployment in a few weeks. My thing is though I won't be missing mine for awhile. I'll keep it stock for a few years then mod it.
Hey great video man! Very honest and sincere. We have every confidence that you will make this one unique. Also, nice shout out for The PP2 (Tremor Package). I’ll have mine in late May. 😎
I agree that the lane departure/adaptive cruise control/BLIS system is a waste of money. If you can't stay in your lane, you shouldn't be on the road. I'd rather have a 2" convex mirror in place of a light and a warning pint in the drivers side mirror. I actually like adaptive cruise control (and cross traffic), but Ford bundles all these packages. They don't seel the packages ala carte. I believe they even do it with the large electrongic guage display.
I hope you don't feel any kind of buyers' remorse. Yes, you paid $5k more for features that you probably don't need and the car is not red in exterior and interior but I am sure you will be able to recoup that $5k diff through your RUclips videos that you make. Besides, that special ordered mustang does not have the brembos, which you will need for the track days. I have always liked your videos from the ecoboost and now to the gt, keep doing the good work!
I got the active exhaust on mine and I don't regret it one bit. I actually really like the exhaust note from the factory setup. The catback X-pipe are loud but they sound to raspy for me. I like a nice, full, composed purr and rumble over the throaty, airy, raspy, cough-like note from X pipes.
Let me first say, I’ve watched all your videos Ecobeast. They’re pretty much on point, but this one is all wrong from every angle. I own the 2018 6spd man loaded with every option available and in black too. The 10 spd Auto is a must have for the strip/daily use, but Man vs auto means “0” to me in road circuit racing unless your at pro level. Imo if your considering or building the “2018” online, loaded it up within your budget. It’s worth it and cost effective. If you ordered it and waiting anxiously, have no regrets upon delivery. Every option may not be used as much as others, but it comes in useful when you need it(especially in NYC). With these extra options. I think ford found a compromise between tradition/technology “it’s effing brilliant”. My 2018 has given Europe/Japan’s offerings a good seeing to already(and I still two had to gears remaining). Like you said it’s a personal opinion which I respect, but beg to differ. My advice is to test drive a base GT and premium GT and see what feels good to you long term based on your lifestyle. Btw...the Michelin sport compS are the “tits”. Sticky and all season + magnaride, a spoiler designed by NASA engineers. What more can you ask for. Keep your chin up Ecoboost...you made the right choice. I think if you took the red one you’d be right back here making a video about options you should’ve taken. Keep up the good work! Governor.
I'd upgrade the H pipe for the active exhaust for still decent refinement in quiet mode and louder track mode. I'm someone who wants to be somewhat discrete in certain situations, but I want the car to scream on an open road when the opportunity arises.
Thomas Griffin i have active on my 18 and did an x pipe and I love the loud option vs quiet mode for when I have my kids with me. guess it depends on each persons situation
The best video ever ... I love the red one wid black roof just wow bro but the black still good .... I wish u gonna help me to order my mustang GT premium 2019 . I'm going to order soon 👍👍👍
Great Video! I just cant accept the look of the 2018 front end. I know people say it looks better in person but not while sitting next to a 2017! I would buy a 2017 for the looks and start modding.
I just bought my 2018 mustang GT. I got it with the 10 speed auto and i do no regret it one bit. Amazing car.
10speed is so fast..why shift?
Bc we not gay
I have the 2019 GT premium California special it also is a 10 speed. I love it..
Active Exhaust is a must have. It's awesome being able to control how loud the exhaust is. In the city, I always keep mine in sport mode. Driving long distances, quiet mode so I can listen to music.
David Allen yes depends on ur use as well
Quiet mode= 2 layers of dynamat
Good point. I want to have it when I get mine soon too.
What do you do for a living?

Yujie Jiang if you order a Mustang from Ford you got a green window sticker, it's as simple as that
Adaptive cruise is one of my favorite features on my 15. If you spend any time on the interstate or live in a cop heavy area it's a life saver.

Thats what you think .... (not modding nothing)

The Alpha Male 🤣🤣🤣
i got a red 3v and everyone says ill get so many tickets but my only one was at night
@@refutedbeans7624 I have had 3 Race Red mustangs. I got ONE speeding ticket for going 84 in a 65. So the color had nothing to do with me speeding.
Mine is race red and I've never got a speeding ticket....looked at yes but not stopped
Race red is a head turner and the original color. Pretty awesome.
Active exhaust is one of the best options imo.

You made the right call on getting the GT performance package car. Red guts would get old in my opinion.
That cold start... I heard it and it’s now sold me... I’m getting a gt
If I get a speeding ticket within a week of having my new mustang I have no regrets...
I did upgrade my exhaust, I just did an H pipe on the active and it sounds as good as any aftermarket valve controlled exhaust.
By the way I work for a computer advertising company so it seems like I work 24 hours a day babysitting a computer making sure all the Advertising goes to the right cities so far you are the best at what you do with Mustangs so keep it up.

But is it really worth 4.5K to buy front BREMBOS aftermarket ??? Cause BREMBOS with the PP1 is actually a better deal than buying them separately

Actually I was quoted something like $49354
USFZeus Lebanon Ford?
Yes. I pick up mine in 6 weeks.
Matt Lopez looked it up, states 39,995 im sure before TT&L and fees but holy shit. Says 2018 GT 300A with whipple sc and their tuner and will ship ordered car to you. Car in stock 4-6 weeks.
Did you pick it up yet? Let me know thoughts because I'm seriously interested. Talking to sales person now. email bthornhill2606@yahoo.com
Thinking bout purchasing a 2019 GT premium yo vids really help 💪🏾
Thats what I have 2019 GT premium California special. I say do it, I love my car.
I just built a 2018 for about 44 and it’s exactly as you explained I knew the first thing that I didn’t activate exhaust. Love the videos man keep up the good work I have a 93 fox body coupe I might sell it’s just hard to part with to use as a cash down payment along with the 10% they ask for
Bro PLEASE more videos like this!!! Im planning to get a mustang this year!
2/6/18, That's nice if you want less car for more money. I have a 2015 Taurus LTD/awd; the only option I got (aftermkt) was a trailer hitch installed. Great car. Avoid 'Stang, SHO, Lincoln.........any of those flagship money pits. To each his own. ;)
Gomez ___ I'm on the second thing
Buy used or wait and buy the previous year model and save a lot of money
Preston Weiters Jr. Sooooo what are you doing watching Mustang videos if you don't like them? And why are you comparing different car categories.
top speed on a ss is 175 to 180 the mustang is 155 i got a ss 2017 so you wan't the mustang see you on the freeway
You should have waited, that was a nice car. Bet that interior looked amazing.
Coool Breeez maybe I’ll just get both 😂
StangMode hows ur gt in the snow?
Came on here for mustang advice...see's the exact 2018 race red mustang I just bought used from Echelon Ford lmao
There is no need to go aftermarket on exhaust if you get the active performance exhaust for $895 MSRP. It has a nice sound and tone.
Thanks for the info. I'm shopping right now and a GT is on my list. Without all of the extra options, the price is much more appealing.
Exactly
agree on active exhaust; I like the louder sound if not in a homeowner neighborhood; but out of courtesy, I tone it down in my driveway and streets for the neighbors. Usually the only people liking the loud exhaust and loud music are the driver, and he thinks he is impressing people, but in fact most people do not like or appreciate the noise.
Totally agree on the exhaust. Stock is actually quiet enough (unless you floor it).
Hate to tell you bro but you should have waited. No offense but that one is way sweeter than what you got, just my opinion. Definitely agree with you on some of the things to not get. Not a big fan of all the nannys, will say blind spot is a must though. As always great vid sir.
Active Exhaust is a nice option if living in a decent neighborhood. Allows you to not wake up the neighbors at 0500. It's a good option to have.
Darius Cheung depends if u track the car
you lost $5k because you couldn't wait?
Exactly I'm not understanding either because his statement is vague
Yeah, that was stupid as hell lol
I bought my 2020 gt premium without the rain sensors, blind spot indicators, or the lane assist. In fact i got it with the analog tachometer. To tell you the truth. I missed those creature comforts at first but after driving the car I learned to not mind anymore. I guess it’s just less stuff to break down.
It's cool that you can spec the new GT out the way you want but man it's overwhelming. I can't sleep at night thinking about it!
Since mustangs are now being sold in Europe, they added active exhaust because there’s a 95db limit in Germany. They wanted to make it louder but have same exhaust on European models
Actually those front brakes are brembos! Just the 4 piston version. The performance pack has the 6 piston version obviously.
im pretty sure thats false the front brakes dont seem to be brembos and I have the 2018 gt
Oh okay thats really good to know ! Now I can paint my calipers and label it brembos without feeling like a phony lol!!
ImaRealPotato they are not brembos. They are made by continental. They are boat anchors and weigh as much as the 6 piston Brembos.
Codeman ImaRealPotato they are not brembos. They are made by continental. They are boat anchors and weigh as much as the 6 piston Brembos.
Even with my 1LE, I was happy about the active exhaust at first and then just left it in track mode and then eventually deleted it with the Borla.
Coyote Crusader yes I use it less and less
seems like this happens to everybody haha.
Muffler deletes are usually the way to go... :D I did it to my WRX and love the sound now. For whatever reason it sounds better than Eco Mustangs with exhausts, no idea why.... Not the 5.0 though, lol.
Yeah I pulled the fuse on my zl1, prob will replace with a Corsa with borla xpipe in the future
Every car sounds better with a v8
What about V10? :D
V10s sound can be good or bad depending on the car. The Viper sound terrible with it. Hard to beat a classic V8.
I have a V32. It sounds 4x better than a V8.
Safe & Smart package is not just about safety. Has nice conveniences. Biggest one for me is the memory seats. Wife is much shorter than me. One tap and all is well. I use memory setting 3 to auto move driver seat all the way forward to allow rear passengers easy out.
Aftermarket mods rarely help resale value, and frequently reduce your resale market.
Noboy cares about resale on a muscel / sports car bro if thats all you car about dont buy one actually dont buy a car full stop
I got every option except the Recaros because i don’t want to modify the car....I feel it’s really complete and fun to drive
The blind spot alert is great on my 2018 ZL1
Lol
This comment is awesome
Plus anything I need for strength.
the older GTs come with a smaller mirror angled in the side mirrors
Patience is a virtue
They are all a dime a dozen
The now orderable C8 Z06 with 690 N/A HP looks like a real game changer. Anything with a flat plane crank that makes supercar engine sounds gets my attention if it is more reliable than the GT350's 5.2. BUT that's far out of my price range for now. My 2019 GT premium mustang has loads of great features and cost $39k used, $36K after trade for a spec that cost over $50k new.
My man's was looking around in the beginning like the car wasn't his LMFAO 😂😂😂😂
I just purchased the black on black 18 GT last week. It doesn't have the digital dash as I wanted but it does have the big screen stereo. I pretty much just got the basic. I'll be modifying the hell out if mine.
Don't look back... The black one you have looks better I think. .... Just buy a red GT 500 next year 🐎
09victoryrc he def fucked up
09victoryrc 🤔 next year gt500 you say hmmm
That's what they're saying.... next year.
headers for my 18 will be here tomorrow! going to pair is with my active exhaust.
Get well soon and that red on red with the blackout package looks 👍🏻
kevin mcmillen yup u inspired this video ha!
Get the base model GT with 301a and performance pack. best bang for buck IMO
How long between the initial order and when it was finally delivered. Currently debating on ordering one
0:00 the speed of that shift and the dramatic drop in gears is real
Like your car you got better, You cant buy the PP 1 options cheaper than the price ford gives them to you. The tires alone are worth 1500. I think the Base model performance package is the best way to go, got mine for 34,800 and really don't need all the techy shit.
Mike Burke base model performance package?
Screwhead Addict yea
Sorry not understanding...
Screwhead Addict idk how more clear I can say it, IMO a base model Performance Package is the way to go, best bang for buck
I did an X pipe with the active and it sounds amazing wot but in quiet mode I don't wake my kids up in the morning. best of both worlds.
you are honest good job. Will watch more of your videos .. own 4 Mustangs by self including a 14 GT500 Fast Fords forever
The Corsa extreme catback system is fully compatible with the factory active exhaust actuators.
You should of gotten the red bro. I had a 13 black GtCS . It’s way too hard to keep a black car clean.
Options to avoid: EcoBoost
Pretty much. That should be top 1
You are out your mind
EcoBoost is a great option with some great technology for a cheaper price. Dont need to be a 5.0 V8 elitist.
If you buy an American Muscle car as a v6 it’s not American Muscle, it’s a whole lot of gay.
@@Randsel 100% fucking agree lol. but obviously get a v8 when u can afford it
I basically got the same magnetic 19 6speed PP1 I can agree I choose no magnaride no active exhaust because I knew I was going to modify. Although the active exhaust probably would have been a nice option then do a resonator delete with an H-pipe or X-pipe
Active Exhaust is a $895 option
Go eagle man that's real sweet didn't know you were into Eagle boost that's pretty funny😁 great video
"It just makes it more expensive"
Well... yeah. But some of us need that lane departure warning
Yea not me lol
If you're not fully aware of where your car is in relation to the road and need to rely on technology to help you probably shouldn't be driving anyways.
@@weirdj973 ever drive 2300 miles? you can get a little weary. there are all kinds of scenarios where your witty retort does not apply..
Maybe you should know when you need to take a break from driving?
Nice ride ecobeast! Trade in the Black gt and get ur spec out one before it sells! I have my base 17 gt manual and have no regrets! Keep up the vids!
condoro63 he would lose about 20k
condoro63 thanks but I’m happy with my Stang
Yeah I was only kidding about the trade in. Keep up awesome content ecobeast. I have a 14 v6 supercharged all good but ended up trading it in for the gt. So far only mod roush ab and thinking mrt or mishimoto h pipe! Only thing I’m concerned about waking up the neighbors lol
When I get a mustang in the future, quiet mode seems great for when you don't want anyone to think you're faster than you really are, like on the highway........ Hauling ass at *exactly* the speed limit..... With slower traffic.
Bro thanks for the info, it did helped me with my decision. Picking mine up soon.
Awesome and congratulations
Dude I'm glad you posted this. I'm getting mine when I get back from deployment in a few weeks. My thing is though I won't be missing mine for awhile. I'll keep it stock for a few years then mod it.
I'm going with gt premium, adding just the digital dash and getting the roush 2 package. Best bang for your buck
Hey great video man! Very honest and sincere. We have every confidence that you will make this one unique. Also, nice shout out for The PP2 (Tremor Package). I’ll have mine in late May. 😎
Thanks brother appreciate it and congratulations on the upcoming 2018!! PP2!! I wanna drive one and feel the difference too
That red one is tight work .
I haven't driven the any 18s, but sat in one. I felt the blind spots were not bad.
Another note. If you want the retain your warranty you won’t be able to mod your car until 3 yr/36000 miles at a minimum.
Just got my ‘18 GT. Love it!!!
Should have waited for the red. It looks so nice.
Blind spot monitoring has literally saved my life more than once!! Hello??
The problem with digital dashes is they will looked dated in time. A regular dash is timeless.
🤔
Black color in this car 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great Video! I just cant accept the look of the 2018 front end. I know people say it looks better in person but not while sitting next to a 2017! I would buy a 2017 for the looks and start modding.
BRO! this is wild! I just stumbled on your page noticed you had an nj plate then you baught Holman. Your pretty dang close to me.
Resonator delete and long tubes... see how loud it gets
