I started going to Knott's as a kid int he 70's and it is a fun smaller park. Don't let small disuade you, it has great rides. The prices are great and I love going there with my kids. It reminds me of when my parents would take me and the log ride...the memories of the Knott's log ride are my favorite and I have built those memories with my kids. I always recommend Knott's to all my friends. Oh and the staff is awesome! They are nice and helpful and I have never had a complaint.
Awesome, informative video. Well done. I've been at knotts Park Service going on 2yrs. I truly enjoy working with my associates, leads and supervisors. I'm retired so this is a job that's gets me out of the house. Lol This is a fabulous job for h.s., college students and retired people. Difficult in making a living on minimum wage minimum hrs. Best wishes on your future endeavors.

@@MarianLcervy30beets you'll be doing a lot of walking so wear some comfy (black) shoes and maybe get those gel pads to put on the soles. i switched departments so i work at the actually park now. i see service everywhere although im not exactly sure what night service does tho i would guess is rounding up all the garbage during the day and dealing with that
Never had group interviews when I worked there. This was in 2004 though when I was 17. For what I remember they work you like a dog there - was on my feet for nearly all 8 hours as a bus boy at coasters. Great place if you're a highschooler to make some money in the summers.

Hi Joy I went to ask you about knott berry form and I just went to my first intervew and my group Intervew and How long do it take for them to make there decision to know when they hire you or not and They said one or two day to they will email me for the job.
Yes, you can always transfer to another department but I believe you have to work for a certain amount of time in the place you got hired first before you fill out a transfer application. And there would have to be a spot open for you too
The group interview was not that long in my memory. Make sure you show you have good team work and leadership skills. Don’t be silent y’all and work with others!

Hi I was not a ride operator! But if you apply for Knott’s and are not offered a position as a ride operator if I were you, I would take any job possible. Bc once hired after a couple of months of a position is open you can always apply to transfer to the ride department.
You need to clean up vomit,blood,and deal with rude people who think they're entitled. They could care less if your chronically Ill,I was out constantly due to doctors appointments and they wanted to fire me when they had the note doctor signed for me to give them.Pouring rain? Nope your out there working cold and soggy shoes and they still make you stay even if your ride is shut. Not to mention 12 hour shifts even though your "seasonal"
jim lane in the summer Knott’s employees get a lot of hours. I typically had like 25-35 hours a week during the summer. You won’t hit full time most likely. However, if you are new you’ll usually start off with less hours maybe like 10-20 hours because you don’t know much. Try and get trained for the next level as soon as you can so they can work you more hours and for more shifts.

Direct deposit if you set that up or via check if you didn’t. Are you talking about park services ? Or guest services? Park services does all the cleaning.

Maybe customers are mad because the quality is not their. I just sat in a Dinning Room where it was 87 degrees eating 14 dollar chi ken fingers that were to hard to eat. EVERYTHING is so out dated and run down.
