    Given the popularity of these elastic straps, I decided to buy some and try. Yup, they are the cheapest ones in the market right now but they don't feel so good. I wouldn't recommend them.

    I had that problem with the buckle slipping, so I contacted them, and they sent me a redesigned buckle that doesn't slip and makes it easier to fasten the clip too. All straps now have the new buckle. They are good value for money.

    They have released new hardware for these straps and it makes a huge difference. The watch is now properly secure and there is no moving and slipping of the watch at all. Also, you have to cut the strap cause you seem to have very small wrists.

    Their updated design is much better than this. The strap goes in and out of the buckle twice now, so there's no slippage at all.
    I picked up a couple of colours, one similar to the classic MN, and their Black Bay-inspired one, black with gold and red stripes, which looks superb.

    Yeah I just picked up a bunch of these from them. Ngl, I see why I never heard of paratrooper straps or marine nationale straps before. Because they’re near impossible to adjust on the fly and Not nearly as easy as a nato to swap out. I haven’t worn my straps for a full day yet so we’ll see how they feel but idk if I trust that it wouldn’t insta while wearing it. Anyone else have these concerns/ thoughts

  • @4AllUSa
    @4AllUSa Год назад

    You don't need to cut the strap. Don't do it again! There is another, safer way to put on a nylon strap in one piece. You make an extra way up. When attaching the strap, place your hand between the cover of watch and the nylon strap. You will make an extra securing loop and use the excess strap, then proceed the same way. In addition, the safety loop makes it easier and safer to fasten the buckle.

    I feel the problem lies with, as it does with myself, who also has a thin wrist, that a diver watch is ill-suited for a parachute band. The size and weight just isn't suitable.

    Dude what the hell are you doing? Just look at the length of your black strap with the white line... You're not supposed to loop it under the watch thus creating a double pass nato for whatever reason. You're supposed to find your fit and then cut the excess away. I would pay money to see you try and put it on the way you did lol.
    I've had their paratrooper on my Seiko Flightmaster. I bought the version with 2 holes on the metal loop and I never, ever had an issue with it becoming loose or unhooking accidentally. These paratrooper straps are amazing for the money. I had the original Marine Nationale strap and I hated it with a passion. I can't believe a strap can be both tight and loose at the same time. These paratroopers give you the look and feel of the Marine Nationale without it being gimmicky like the "original".
