You could add a not-so-spooky-spooky-nod to the car ride on the grass patch by making it a little pumpkin patch. Not a jack-o-lantern patch, an actual pumpkin patch, there’s pumpkins in the spooky pack. That way, it’d still be nature, id’d be low so it doesn’t interfere with the view and you can still wave at each other, but it would further allow you to homage the spooky pack in a non-intrusive way. But I also like it the way it is now, what a lovely ride! You’re always a great inspiration 😊
I LOVE using that stone wall from the spooky pack. It's ALL over Smol Park lol. It has this texture that just looks a bit old and dirty. I love it. Nice work on the car ride. I am going to advocate that you do indeed go back and fill in that grassy area with flowers. Considering how small of a car ride it is, queuing for so long to just see a spot of grass (not to mention how awful it will be to constantly have to trim it for the garderners), instead of a flower galore, would probably lead to disappointed guests. I'd fill it in with low flower beds, maybe a small water feature from one of the fountain pieces, so you can still see the car coming back at you. I'm so glad you uploaded today, I'm getting used to all this planco content from everyone, and I need MOOOORE haha.
The gardeners is a great point... perhaps some flowers and a little fountain will seem like a better 'payoff' for the ride (although we have to stretch our definitions in this park as ALL of the rides will be really short lol
Nice work on the car ride! I was going to suggest one more tree in that grassy area, but I like the suggestion of a little fountain (if you can find pieces small enough!). I will say, though, I feel so bad for the maintenance folk with all that wisteria. They'll spend so much time cleaning the track off!
Loving this project! Going to be super honest after binge watching your videos for years I much prefer the Timelapse 😂😂😂 BUT i do enjoy when you take a little tour at the end
Love it!! Also, I can't believe I never noticed the skull and crossbones on the barrel planter!! I've been lightly pirate theming all my parks for years!
The mix of timelapse and time skips worked rather well in this video, I'm quite glad that you decided to mix it up. Good video as always. I do enjoy the thought process and your musings around your creative choices - I tend to get stuck, over think, and give up but oddly enough I've decided to hop back in to Planet Zoo so I've picked up a couple more of the DLC packs. Roll on your next episode as we all know you've got a delightful tiny tiny coaster coming!
Based on your waving at the cars - can you call the ride “Coo-Eee Cars”. Also maybe a bit of ivy in the walls and a bit of a rockery in the green space would be good and maybe a couple of street/speed type signs
@@Geekism haven't watched the next episode after this but "Vroo-ee" I think is the perfect pun if you've not committed to a name yet, or haven't beaten me to that one
Could the free green area inside the car tracks be a small water pond? Granted that would only be able to be maintained when the ride is not functioning. The park is looking really cute!
You know what, I rarely use the stone wall. I think its a hang up from the old days when I was building with a focus on performance, and that wall Clearly had some serious Vertex count. Of course, these days (i refuse to think about how long ago the Spooky DLC was released) the PCs are far beefier and can handle it. So I guess I should keep it in mind for my current realism project. Love how well the Ride station came together. I will happily admit that Ride Stations seem to be my current pain point. I have a really hard time getting something that looks somewhat realistic, but also themed. Practice I guess.
Very nice episode! I love how the car ride turned out, especially the rock work with the flowers in it. But yeah, that little grassy spot in the turn around needs something, it looks unfinished in my opinion. I like the idea of a fountain you had.
Love it! I'm really surprised you got that car ride in there and got it to look good, haha. Well done! Can't wait to see those mad coaster skillz in an adventure theme haha.
I’d suggest a bird bath style fountain in the grassy area of the car ride. I swear Blackpool has used things like that where it’s a tiny bit of kinetic energy but it’s also tiny, old, probably stone and looks a little random 😂
Love the car ride! Was hoping there'd be a couple of skeletons just chilling out, like someone had some left over from a Halloween celebration and they just said screw it and left them on the car ride cause it was funny.
If you are still looking for suggestions on what to do for the grass island, honestly my first thoughts on the car ride were that it reminded me of Botany Manor/Strange Horticulture, so maybe you could have some weird plants (maybe stuff from the fantasy theme?) growing on the island. That way when you go through the tunnel you pop out and see that stuff growing, it creates an interesting juxtaposition between the cute flowers on one side of the bridge and maybe some spoopy mushrooms/dead branches on the other - like a garden. You could also include some sort of spoopy bee box as well 😂
Hello you. I just wanted to say that I feel like the grass area needs a bit more umph to it. Chuck a couple of plants and I think it would look great. In a bit
@@Geekism Also I just really quickly want to say that I really appreciate you replying to my comment, as much as its such a small thing to do, most youtubers dont commit the time to do so. Just wanted to say thanks for being such an amazing person. Your videos single handedly inspired me so much during lockdown to start playing planet coaster/designing my own themeparks. Whatever you choose to do in the next few years, you have my support
"Spoopy"? Also i vote timelapse as i like seeing how you make different pieces come together to create something cohesive and cool looking, it helps inspire my building
I'm getting a real Frasier vibe from the hourly updates, ha ha. As for the British waving spot, maybe both? An empty spot where they can wave with some very basic foliage? I like the idea but it looks a bit out of place.
I know we’re all on the brink of getting Planet Pathster anyway, but I want to get Planco 1 pathing sorted first and mine still look woeful! I can see you don’t use curbs or railings but how do you make it blend so seamlessly into the plazas? And what pieces do you use as floor like where you widened the in-game car ride station. Sorry for all the questions. 😊 xx
No worries! The Asphalt path and the asphalt terrain paint are almost identical, so they are great for making larger plazas (with the terrain paint filling in the triangles created with path) and the floor for the station was castle roof :)

Yes! Like a autum Sunday drive vibe

Love this hour/timelapse hybrid. Lovely to watch. Looking forward to the rest of the struggle with the lack of space!
Thank you!
Looks great! Also the stone wall is definitely just a grey so no worries there.
Thanks! And glad to hear it lol

Yeah... the whole track would constantly be covered in leaves lol. I think a little fountain is a great idea though!
lovely work on that car ride, love a good tunnel. also that spooky stone wall wedge thing is just grey haha.
Oh I am glad. What a useful little piece. 10/10 would wall again.
Loving this project! Going to be super honest after binge watching your videos for years I much prefer the Timelapse 😂😂😂 BUT i do enjoy when you take a little tour at the end
The car ride looks awesome. Love all the little details...and of course King coaster..1st time I've seen someone use him.
Thanks! Yeah he's goofy and huge, but you gotta love him!
Do you think you'll work the Archer himself in as a feature? He seems like park mascot material
Yeah! I think having him as part of the park entrance is a must!
Well this park is coming along wonderfully! Looking forward to the next one!
I'm chiming in late, but I wanted to say that I love the blend of time lapse and time skip. Keep up the great work!
Love it!! Also, I can't believe I never noticed the skull and crossbones on the barrel planter!! I've been lightly pirate theming all my parks for years!
That made me actually lol :D

Those tunnels need some cool lighting as they drive through

The park is looking really cute!
A pond would be tricky with how terrain works... a little fountain though...

The whole thing feels a little tight... but considering the ridiculous rules I gave myself I'm happy with it!
If you didn’t say these pieces were from a Halloween themed DLC I wouldn’t have guessed! PS: they are not purple
Yay!
I love the car ride! It's like a garden tour.
Yeah! Thanks D

Such a cute ride! I like the grass but Plano's default texture is so 2d looking it's jarring. Nothing a few heavily sunken bushes can't fix though 🤣
love the mix! (also - I did go and check and the dictionary is the very first link, so no clue what people were going on about)
Right? lol, thanks!
For me the MVP of the spooky pack is the wooden plank floor. I use it everywhere, as both a floor and a ceiling
Yeah! The walls and floor were all great tbh!
Love the car ride! Was hoping there'd be a couple of skeletons just chilling out, like someone had some left over from a Halloween celebration and they just said screw it and left them on the car ride cause it was funny.
There was a whole hour not shown where I tried to sprinkle in some spoopy stuff. Skeletons, gravestones on the grass... it all just felt too forced!
Yes add some rocks to the grass area with some weedy plants

I LOVE that idea, but it's probably a bit highly themed for this... I've made a note of it for Meanderville though!
@@Geekism that is totally fair 😂 I would love to see how you could incorporate it into Meanderville though! Ahhhhh
I love this editing style
Thanks!
Fantastic use of scenery! It'll be cool to see your other omages.
Thanks!
I think the grass spot could use some low lying planters? So that it’s still open but not bare
You should add a wild mouse! Goes with the theme of weird planet coaster stuff and is small hahahaha
love the series, Car ride looks amazing, feels very Blackpool but nice :P
'Blackpool but nice' is 100% my asthetic lol
I cant wait for the Worlds fair and Studio pack
I'm struggling a little with studio. All the rides were SO big lol
I like this park.
And it likes you!
Could name your Classic ride,The haunted Highway
Do you think Spooky will be one of the earlier dlcs for Pc2? I hope so
I'd be surprised if we see the same themes come to PC2 so cleanly... but I could see a 'dark ride' pack or something that fills a similar role
Hello you. I just wanted to say that I feel like the grass area needs a bit more umph to it. Chuck a couple of plants and I think it would look great. In a bit

Maybe a little scene or feature as the car turns into the return straight - just looking at a tree and retaining wall is a little dull
Have you rode one of these rides before? They are kinda dull lol
I'm getting a real Frasier vibe from the hourly updates, ha ha.
As for the British waving spot, maybe both? An empty spot where they can wave with some very basic foliage? I like the idea but it looks a bit out of place.
6:30 No, they're definitely gray xD
Idk why nobody uses these

@@Geekism Oooh clever! Thanks lovely, I’m off to asphalt every park I’ve ever built! 😋
car ride seems a bit purposeless NGL, maybe add a lil mist feature to the underground bit?
Mist is a great idea tbh. But due to the nature of the space limitations, most the rides will feel very 'trucated' lol
Huh, never noticed the steering wheels arn't animated with the guests...
Oh yeah! Oh well, probably a waste of resources to do it lol
Time lapse is far superior. I avoid real time builds.
