Loving the series so far, I'd say try and produce an animatronic show for the Studio Pack? Either some sort of walk by thing (a la the dragon under the castle in Disneyland Paris) or maybe a mini stunt show? Great chance to show off the sequencer, another core feature of Planco
This is what I was going to comment; studios pack came with so many animatronics, could use them to make some sort of stunt show, even if from balconies above shops or similar, to save space
For Studios, I genuinely think a horror heights could work really well. I know it’s huge ride pad is off putting but by hiding the ride underground, so that only the two “towers” are sticking out. You can really build a full dark ride experience in a smaller space.
The experience itself could integrate other themes not yet within the park. With each “room” being a small diorama/action set piece. All the themed rooms can be themed to “studio sets”
I think this is the way @geekism
Or like a museum of the stuff that doesn't fit like the spooky stuff and adventure animatronics
I full-heartedly agree with this!
Oh, dang, this turned out really well. Good call on the open station. It's really cute, haha.
Instead of the horror heights for studios, maybe use the small drop tower instead? You could enclose it or leave it open air and do a stunt themed thing.
I'm really loving this series. Don't get me wrong, I love your more realistic style stuff, but this has been a lot of fun watching you get creative in the small spaces.
I love this build most so far! Especially that falling track, so good!
That coaster looks REALLY good
It would be a neat feature if PC2 had an option to split the map into smaller tiles that you could slowly expand on so that you can ensure every corner of the park is fleshed out and fully detailed.
Was wondering how you were going to fit in adventure..seeing as the pieces are massive..I'm amazed at what you done. It fits in so well. Maybe for the studio pack you could use some of the animations around the park. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
I think you should include the people mover as i can visually see it in the park and i think it would super cool! i know youll find a way to make it work
I think it would be cool to add on the curve after the jump some columns that are like "falling" on you
I was thinking for Studios either the Horror Heights or stretching the peoplemover thing as a Studio Tour (kindfof like the monorail in RCT3 for their studio park). You could have little scenes set off by the rides for all the other packs as it passes by, too. And since it's set up in the air, there's a lot of flexibility on space verses having it down below. You're definitely running out of space for all the rest of the packs, though, so I'm wondering if there's going to have to be more flat rides considered moving forward. Plus, you're already using flat rides from other packs, so you could also consider just the flat rides of other packs (like Magnificent or Classic Rides) and retheming them into other themed packs, as well...
Squeeze a dark ride in on the far side of the coaster and use studio FX in it - there's an old rumor that the sound stage where the original Phantom of the Opera movie was shot at Universal Studios was haunted- when they tore it down, the back lot caught on fire...there's a theme to tie it together
I know this park is small, well that’s an understatement but maybe use studios to add some backstage areas?!?
Loving this series! Been a watcher since geekism studios
Thanks for watching!
For studios you could make a little stunt show stage set with some of the animatronics and scenic pieces. Maybe a short sequence of fire effects and stunts?
I think provided you go heavy on the props and effects pieces, you could get away with using a ride from another pack. Maybe a tight compact shooting gallery ride.
Would it be possible to use the peoplemover ride for studios pack in a way that shows off the scenery via small show scenes using the sequencer. The scenes could even be on the second floor of food and merchandise buildings not unlike the real ride at Disney!
You could do a journey to Pompeii style water ride themed with a studio theme and do escape the studios With a splash down. Also the people mover could traverse the outside of the park via the fence and it's a border ride.
Amazing how you fit that coaster in! Looked awesome too!
For studios, why don’t you do your ‘main street’ area using studios?! Could either be similar to Disney Paris with the indoor hanger maybe and the art deco style with pretend sets for ‘filming’….
or have New York or Hollywood 1950s style buildings? Like Universals entrance style maybe?! That could solve the issue with the lack of space as they could be facades on the side to the adventure coaster using the scaffolding etc you could do the sidewalks with the trees in it like Hollywood studios and use animatronics - like you had that fake meet and greet in Geekism studios and put an entertainer down?!
Should do the droptower and put it in the helix of the woody and make it a cool building…. Makes for a great skyline and can be even partly underground…. Best bang for ur buck
Screw the rules, do the small studios people mover around the boarder of the park, its not fully cheating its just literally skirting around the rules. Have that as the studios themed part
Maybe you do like a gondola for the studios pack? I feel like the people mover disrupts eyelines too much
I hope we'll get the release date of planco 2 today on the live stream
Because you are doing a 30x30 park, you can go as high and as low as you want. For the Studios pack, could you do an "underground back-lot tour". Using a people mover, take the people "underground" and then you have basically all the space to do a tour, but it would be like a few blocks over on the map.
So you have the top section, and next to that, you could have another 30x30 section, which is the "underground" portion.
Jonti, new time viewer. This game is about creativity, doesn't have to be "real." It's fantastic to see what you create.
Heres some ideas for the studio pack. I think you could maybe make a shooter ride with like zombies/aliens, or you could make like a tiny stunt show, or if there's no room at all you could make a mini studio hotel.
The adventure adventrue coaster is SUPER cute. I really love how you made the open air station.
This is a great series. Can’t wait to see it completed. And PC2 of course.
I love this series and love seeing you have fun with the assets you couldn't use in Pinewood :) When I stopped seeing planco content on RUclips I went on an almost 4 year hiatus from the series. Ever since you and masked started up content again Ive been trying to play a little bit every day and its just as fun as I remember which is a testament to the incredible game. I hope planco 2 lives up to it!
The adventure pack was Epic, and a great step forward too.
So many parts in it were Not Grid Locked!!. Finally, we had access to wall components we could spin freely. not just that, but it was the introduction of the Snapping feature too, Such a great time saver. All the pieces had the same origin, and were aligned to it properly. This pack was just perfection!. I love working with the Temple ruins, I wish there were more natural looking Wood planks included with this one though.
I could see a small rinky-dink park installing a small roller coaster along those lines (maybe not with the track going under the station?). I have this vision of Chicken wire and plaster for the majority of the decoration. LOL.
How many have started playing planet coaster again since 2 is coming soon? Me!
I know I sure have!
Studios: how about a quick little launch coaster along the side of the woodie with the theme of studios, similar to the studio coaster at movie world in Germany. Just do a quick little launch coaster section, spaghetti bowl esk with a loose police chase vibe or something with a couple of the effects and building facades flat up against the edge of the park.
I love this series! This is one of my favorite Adventure coasters I’ve seen in the game. It’s super reminiscent of the recent trend of vekoma junior terrain coasters.
You could represent the studio pack by theming up a flat ride as a backlot set. For example; you could have building flats behind the ride and all sorts of lighting rigs and such around it, so it looks like a filming location.
Hello You, Jonti. Love the Tiny Park Project. All the progress is wonderful. For the Studios: Fencing and Paving the path near the Adventure area could work a bit. HOUR SIX: Geekism Studios idea :: Use the People Mover Transport ride (as a Outer Frame) just outside you 30 sq. cube thing. It could be placed at each with access paths above to frame the Tiny Park. One Train "the Geekism Express" around the park might look nice weaving in or above a tree line. Would love to see what you come up for it. Let me know your thoughts on this idea. I am looking forward to your PC2 parks / themes. Keep up the great work. !!!
Fantastic work making that all fit into the tiny plot! Studios is tricky, but a fun walkthrough of a "studios backlot" could be fun, or even an underground people mover could also work a la Moomin's Bunker and Disney Sea's 20K Leagues Under the Sea.
Great coaster, love it! You're far too hard on yourself, your coaster building is absolutely fine. I'd argue that the theming is more important in this game rather than if the coaster is super realistic in terms of layout!
For that space, I'd personally run a ghost ride going over several levels, tuck it under the wooden coaster and make a full building with several small rooms. Doesn't actually have to be a spooky ride, just something showing off setpieces from the studio pack. The downside would be it would likely be a large project; building internal rooms, as I'm sure you know, takes absolutely ages. You could probably fit it into a relatively small space though!
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Get vid, i'm really impressed how much you are getting into this small park. You are being forced into creative and inventive ideas. For the studios pack, Maybe a few small sideshows - a wild west shoot out, pirate sword fight, mini diorama/vignettes kind of thing. Let the juice loose, like the moose loose aboot the hoose ;)
Studio pack could be like a museum kind of area - showing all the AMAZING items that were in that pack that we used in all the parks ... like move set props
EG = The long awaited chain link fence once seen in seen in Pinewood Hills.
The pallets - once used to replace the 76 piece count pallet in Such and such a ride
Loved the work on this ep as always love the ride station looks incredible :)
This series is turning out so great. Love your adventure coaster! As for studios... I know you'll think of apmething awesome that will work out. If it were me, Id probably do a small scaled down mock stage show with the animatronics and themeimg elements. Cant wait for the next episode!
That coaster looks just plain Fun. I say instead of trying to reach real life with the coaster, we enjoy what the coaster can do comapred real life. On a diffebrt note, really enjoying the hour jumps. It let's us see how to make a good build great. What elevates it. Thanks!
Just as a suggestion, the studios peoplemover could be themed to a fake studios company that has the name of the park. Then, the trip through the park would be like a tour through different sets of this imaginary studios company (each area could be a different set). I am loving this series!!
For studios, what about a little arcade? I found that a number of the pieces (especially the panels) were extremely useful when building my pack of arcade game cabinets.
always novel seeing this ride because hardly anyone uses it haha. you did a great job though! the tiny foot print makes it very cosy
Really appreciate all the effort you're putting into editing. Your intros keep getting better and better! Love it 🙌
For the people mover and studios area maybe you could build a mini city buildings. The ride could be a narration about your experience with the packs. Since you would be trying to go around the entirety of the park.
could you get away with just building a movie set plaza with low-relief buildings on the park border? or a cinema darkride somewhere like how some disney rides are on top of each other?
Really cool series :) I love how awesome this build is with such a small footprint! Really cool
For studios, might be worth trying to just showcase some of the stunt show type items and animatronics. Maybe make a tiny outdoor theater in the middle of the wooden coaster helix or something to save space instead of trying to make a ride fit
Oooh, the main street could be for the world’s fair pack with a bunch of tiny themed shops.
Great video, as always!
People mover would be awesome!!! Maybe some sort of themed tunnels to tie in the studios theme? Also maybe tying studios into a “Main Street” area?
I might be a bit late, but I think you could do a small stunt show with studios pack - it's not a ride, but you can use all the animatronics and scenery.
For studios could you have room for a small amphitheater? Using the lighting & rigging etc that comes with studios?
I wonder if all the DLC pack pieces will be included (with updated textures) in PlanCo 2.
For the studios part, I think a motorbike launch coaster could be really fun, technically not studious but still theme-able to a city
For studios, stunt show using all the animatronics? I seem to remember there were cool car stunt animatronics right?
I feel like the line between the the smaller blocks and the larger blocks on the station walls needed a divider.
I love your coaster designs on this! Small but super fun!
Instead of a ride why not a studio street (mini) that’s just shops? But movie themes
Yloving the series! You could use all the characters throughout the park
Really great work on this adventure area, some of your best work tbh, love how smol it is, and how cute that sign is. As for studio, I have no idea haha. Maybe just a burning garbage bin with "Studio pack" sign coming out of it? I loved many of the scenery pieces, but as for rides? Meh. And the size of most of the scenery pieces too, plus the new wallsets really didn't match with the existing ones. Okay, seems like Studio was my least favorite dlc lol
Haha! I loved the studio for the backstage stuff it gave us... but yeah, looking over it again it's not as incredible as I remember lol
I’m hoping the ‘main street’ will be the vintage pack!
How about some kind of walk through horror maze ??
I am 15 seconds in and I can't wait to see how this turns out!!!
Just do a bit studios style entrance like universal
Wow, 100k subscribers on point! I will subscribe now to uneven that number.
YAY!!!!! the ghost busters made it in!!!!!
Mine are so bad compared to these lmfaooooo
*Angrily tears up postcard*
What about a studios gift shop
Oh gosh 2017????? Wow
Love this series, but 30 seconds and only 2 likes? Bro fell off…
lol, yeah, it's over. Will delete the channel shortly and go live in the woods.
While that does sound nice, we will definitely miss your content!!
