If I played, the second game would be so cruel! As a learner still in the beginning stages of my Japanese journey (N4), I laugh at anything I can understand, even if the context isn't anywhere remotely funny. It's just so gratifying being able to read something in another language and get all the nuance and cultural differences that someone who is reading a translation might not get

I am a bit the same. I get excited and laugh when I understand a new sentence I haven't studied before, but I know all the parts, and can understand it.

Brian's voice is really that of a story reader!
My Japanese girlfriend and I read One Punch Man together. When I was done with the first volume she had already moved on from the eight one. Since it's an easy manga to read I thought I finished it pretty fast so this baffled me hahah

This was really fun to watch. I am a very avid reader in English. I can read fast with good comprehension, and it's one of my favorite past times. My eventual goal in Japanese is to be able to read just as well in Japanese as I can in English. A high goal, and I know that will take a lot of time. More immediately, I just want to be able to play video games in Japanese without reaching for a dictionary every minute. XD That will still take a few years, but as long as I can keep going one step at a time, I'll get there.

OMG I bought Satori Reader just a couple weeks ago, I would have waited if I'd known there is a sale this time of year! 😭
But I did get a discount anyway because I got it through your discount code. I watched a video months ago where you reviewed it and it made me decide then and there I would get it some day. Then a couple weeks ago I saw the video on the results of your reading challenge and it made me decide not to wait any longer. I was waiting because I'm not at the intermediate stage yet but I thought, if Andy can improve just from reading when he's already so much more advanced than me, I want to start reading now even if it's really hard!
I've been meaning to comment and say THANK YOU for recommending Satori Reader because it is AMAZING, and also THANK YOU for the discount code you have! I was halfway through signing up when I remembered your video and thought you might get a sponsor bonus thingy if I ordered through you so I went looking but it looks like you didn't get anything, you just got a discount for your viewers to use and that is soo awesome!
I am SO GLAD I didn't wait any longer to get Satori Reader, it is everything you said it was and more, because I don't have internet at home and I can use it offline which is perfect. I honestly wouldn't have gotten it if I hadn't watched your video and I would have been seriously missing out. I love Satori!!!!
Great video btw!! The editing has been top notch lately, can't imagine the work it must take! Thank you for all the work you put into your content!!
