- Whether you’re a brand-new white belt or a highly experienced black belt, these 16 warm up drills will
improve your BJJ game.
Although I don’t expect you to perform all of these daily, I do recommend choosing 6-8 of these drills
and creating different warm up routines to follow.
Not only are these a great way to warm up and get the blood flowing, but these specific drills will
improve your jiu-jitsu as well.

As a new white belt these are great warm up drills that I can work on myself. I only made it half way through tonight lol but I have a goal now. Thanks professor 🙏🏽

Are you still training?

I incorporated your warmup here in my class and people loved it! Ossss!
I can see why you are a Champion! Thanks for sharing your Passion & Wisdom!
Exactly what I was looking for thank you for this.
Absolutely love these - completely different than what most gyms do and it’s all about “weird movements” like Boss says. Cheers, Marcos! Osss.
I will need to re-watch them, and will incorporate them in my workouts one at a time, thank you!!!
Thank you for the video. I will definitely work on incorporating these exercises to my training👍🏾
Amazing content as usual ! You’re an amazing professor Tinoco ! Big thanks for the inspiration !

Thank you, Sir!
Great drills, j'adore ! 👌😅 Thanks for sharing, teaching, inspiring ! 🙏 Big Oss ! 😁
Love these warmups. I’m a new white belt so I get to improve when I’m not at class. They’ve made me a lot more familiar with my hips which really helped me this past week when rolling.
I have to play these in slow motion, but great drills! Thank you!
This is what i needed. Thank you

fav routine before n after class
Thank you sir. These are great. I'm a brand new white belt and have not been taught any type of mobility movements like this. Question: What movements would you suggest to do during a rib injury, when I can't train? I injured my ribs the second time ever rolling and I'm out for a bit. That very last one you did, side shuffling on my back hurts quite a bit. Also, any exercises to do to prevent further rib injury when rolling? Thanks!
Very nice
I do a lot of hip escapes, forward & backwards and wrestling shots to warm up. Also, yoga flow to loosen up. But, I will start incorporating some of these.
Yes if you do drills that simulate your jiujitsu train on the map will help you a lot will help you stay healthy and will help you connect jiujitsu a lot better thank you for watch BIG OSS
super. I will start here)
I just wanted to say thank you I just started I'm training a brand new to it and I almost quit because I feel very awkward cuz a lot of the movements don't feel natural to me because I'm not used to doing them so I feel stupid and training but so I really appreciate this thank you I think if I did this I would feel less stupid in class
Maestro, obrigado por compartilhar tão boa routina, techniques or disciplina!! 🙋🏾♂️
this is great upload... cool excerises.. with a better camera work, closer angle on marcos and high definition... that d be a cool thing
Those drills are awesome. How about do a video where you actually do it with full rep for each, not only explaining. It would help to follow them better while doing the whole warmups, I think. Thanks.
Man, i was doing this for a week already for the purpose of improving my surfing.
gracias
My first night I was basically knackered after the warm up. But I still had to do the class. 😂
It gets easier every day.
We did the initial hip rotations he does in my bjj class, and it kinda hurts the inner part of my knees, I’m hoping by practicing I can develop the flexibility to where it doesn’t hurt

I just started BJJ with my kids. That hip/shoulder wiper is killer. Any tips or videos on how to get that correct?
As a white belt I'm gone try this :D
I can’t even do sideway switch stand up because of feeling of discomfort soreness in my knees. I can do it only with hand support on the ground. I am 27 and have done boxing for a time. However, I am very inflexible on joints and tendons. Can I do jiu jitsu? How can I improve it?
The shoulder hip walk is so much harder than it looks!😅
requires quite a lot of coordination
8:26 reminiscent of plough and cobra in yoga.

Forty one years old new to Jiu Jitsu. These are complex and hard. They're not good for new fuys
Keep on trying. Don't push too hard at first, just go at your own pace.
I think I just hurt myself warming up....
