I am weeping...she explained perfectly the way God loves us, and her testimony just rips into you...God's love is so much that it just comes out in tears when we can't hold any more of it. His love overflows and leaves us crying for all the times we've wronged Him, and leaves us begging for mercy. But It doesn't leave us. His arms wrap around us and hold us and He whispers softly, "I forgive you, my sweet child."
God is good. I feel sorry for non believers...I feel God's love everyday and I try to be better everyday as a follower of Christ. We are all fighting our own demons, hate no one, love is always the answer. This too shall pass, but God is eternal!

This was there first testimony I've heard. Last night I accepted God into my heart and was saved at the moment I needed Him most. It's unreal how much I can relate to this and it makes me want to share my story.
I wanted to commit sucide when I was 18 of my senior year of high school cause of all the bullying and I didn't want to live anymore and I was done.One day I went to church with my mom and I was very nervous so I sat in the back and he said someone is feeling pain and as I walked away he asked me to come to the stage and let me pray for you and as he started praying i went to my knees and God was speaking saying I love you just the way you are and you are not alone. My life definitely changed.
She understood her sin.. Wow what a sobering thing As christians, we can get tied up and really forget God's unconditional love. As I sit here and watch this, the enemy trying to tell me God doesn't want me anymore, I am reminded GOD LOVES ME REGARDLESS. Amen.
I seen lacey in Cincinnati last year and she told her testimony and it was so powerful and amazing, but I'm listening to her testimony again here, and I'm sobbing, God is reaching out to all of us, especially when we feel so so lost, he brings us back to him and thank you Lacey! This makes their music mean so much more. I didn't even know that their music was about this. No wonder their song "So I thought" brings me to tears. This is how it should be. No one person preaching saying that if you do this or if you do that you are going to Hell. Jesus loved everyone when he was alive. He never judged a person. All those "churches" out there and "good Christian people" who turn someone away because their appearance is different or they can't give enough money. Each person we or they turn away they may think that all "christian" people are like that or they may have been trying to make one last cry for love or help and our rejection leaves them hopeless and they take their life and the Devil wins. I am not perfect, I am a sinner but with God's love I can make it through. God has many names.
Just two things about your comment. You fell in the same sin for what you accuse Chritians, judging them. Christian ARE people, repented sinners, imperfect, like everybody. Then you said "when Jesus WAS alive". So you don't know Him. HE IS ALIVE RIGHT NOW, BECAUSE HE IS THE LIFE!!! the whole universe is alive because HE's giving life to everything, including yourself. Suicidal thoughts are real thing projected from the pain we've endured in our lives most of the time. I've been through soo much in my life from lies to sexual abuse. Gods grace had kept me here and sane. Years later with 5 children im grateful to have endured what I've been though so that my children have a less chance to go through it. This was a very powerful testimony. Honestly, I struggle with belief sometimes and I fear that I have a hardened heart, but, hearing the way that God saved Lacey’s life makes me feel so emotional. It reminds me that there is hope. That God is the God who saves lives. He loves us all and he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep his people in his arms. I wouldn't exactly consider myself a believer in god, I certainly don't follow any particular religion... but seeing somebody's life improve through their own belief is something I can get behind.

The Bible also says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." I like pointing out how each person's fingerprint is distinct and different-no two are alike. Now think about what type of Creator would put that much care into making sure that you are His own unique creation and He knows every cell in your body.

When I came back to the Lord I got away from all that prosperity message,formula's, and doctrines on from 1- a billion how to live my life. This actually mad me cry and I rarely cry over anything. I've been listening to Flyleaf more often then I ever had recently because of a lot of things I've gone through. I really connected with he while she was talking about who she was. I know how she feels because i"m going through it. Her story is truly inspirational
I'm 16, im a self harmer, I wanted to commit suicide, I thought God hated me, i cried myself to sleep and wanted to starve myself.. but I pray everynight, and sometimes I hear God saying "Dont give up. Please dont give up.." I juust want everyone to know, your not alone...

Philippians 3:13-14 says "13 brethren i count not myself to have apprehended but this one thing i do forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth towards those things which are before 14 i press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus". To those of you who at all hold people to their past, realize that you yourself are stuck and therefore never to grow unless you will choose to release them that you are holding a grudge against for their past. And further more, if Almighty has given grace for a second chance who are you to tell someone that they are bad or that God hates them? In doing so you call our Everlasting Father a liar, and I pray that people heed to this message and repent and live. Amen. Grace and peace.

There are so many teens who are alone who need to here this, who need to hear that Jesus really does love them and is with them and will never leave or forsake them. They need to know Jesus loves them unconditionally.
God's grace is everywhere! nobody can see it all the time but it is there all the time no matter what. jsut like the fact that the preacher happened to start talking about a story that directly described lacey. its supernatural but god made that happen just so he could directly get ahold of her and its great that she is still alive today. Its just amazing of what god can do to use us. several years ago, we put thanks to that pastor of that church and her grandmother for convincing her to go.
I've known God for almost ten years/am a christian almost ten years now, and the past weekend I experienced this same thing (other circumstances). God is good, no doubt about that, He is righteous and sovereign.
Lacey is blessed...God has given her back what Satan stold from her as a child.....fatherless and empty trying to hide in music.she now has a great husband..a child..she loves Jesus and has faith..hope and true lasting Joy!! Bless you sister.

Her grandma told the preacher of her church about her, that is how he "knew". Her grandma set her up and it saved her. Good job grandma.

There are so many teens who are alone who need to here this, who need to hear that Jesus really does love them and is with them and will never leave or forsake them. They need to know Jesus loves them unconditionally.
God's grace is everywhere! nobody can see it all the time but it is there all the time no matter what. jsut like the fact that the preacher happened to start talking about a story that directly described lacey. its supernatural but god made that happen just so he could directly get ahold of her and its great that she is still alive today. Its just amazing of what god can do to use us. several years ago, we put thanks to that pastor of that church and her grandmother for convincing her to go.
I've known God for almost ten years/am a christian almost ten years now, and the past weekend I experienced this same thing (other circumstances). God is good, no doubt about that, He is righteous and sovereign.
I had never cried so much hearing a testimony, cause I once tried to suicide too, but God saved me too! God Bless lacey

I know u will probably never read this but I understand u I’m a servivor of the infamous dozier school for boys in Mariana Florida it’s really hard when you go through such extreme circumstances and no one will ever understand your story or how you feel but glad you made it look at you know we’re there is life there is possibility ❤
