This helped me a lot on putting my dash pad together. I’ll have a 70 Z 28 Camaro that I just bought and everything is out of the interior, but I have everything brand new

Great job, I've been tasked to do a 70 and it's been a experience that's for sure. But I'm having to go in after some of its been installed already and try to fill in the gaps with missing parts. I love this video it's extremely useful.

@@Lethalgarage so if I can’t get the heater/ashtray panel to line up where it meets the glovebox panel would I adjust the dash bracing to align them?

Looking good. I also went with the npd dash pad. I ended up shaving my pad in that underside to get the lines better. I used a mini hand plain and was able to get the lines pretty good. the part that is not mentioned anywhere and i still don't know if i have it right is connecting the pad to the instrument cluster area. you see what i mean when you try it. the pad will sit flat with some creative use of washers.

as for the gaps in the dash, i saw a video of one guy and he put a washer in between and it brought the 2 parts of the dash really close together

Great video but on my npd pad I’m having issues up by the gauges where the 2 screws go up through the cowl and in to the dash pad. They keep pulling out and the dash pad wants to lift from the metal cowl. The gap is horrible. Anyone have a fix for this?
I’d suggest a fatter screw, just make sure it’s the right length.
Question: where did you get the lower pieces for your Dash Pad. I'm replacing an original Carmine with Black and I don't want to use die. I need everything in Black

No, we primered and sealed it and than properly painted it
