Great video Jeff. I’m putting a Camaro back together and drivers side dash pad wasn’t setting like I wanted. Now I see what I need to do.
    Thanks

Great vid. I had my original dash repaired but lost some of the stitching look around the gauge cluster. I'm thinking about getting one of these NPD pads. Can't wait to get the dash back in my car. Still got a lot of metal work to be done.

Good vid - Thanks! BTW, I wouldn't recommend a screwgun on the gauge panel. The tabs on the panel are extremely fragile.

We didn't say that we had turned the clutch down to 4.

I know this video was made 6 years ago..still VERY helpful today. Can you explain why you only used three of the five clips included in the NPD dash clip part number C-14655-57K? Im ready to install and it looks like all five will fit.

@AutoRestoMod Thanks for responding! And, providing great videos for our hobby!! I wonder if this was just for the mock up. Remember, this video was in response to your NPD dash pad product review. And, this was NOT the final installation?!?!

Where can I get those 4 self tapping screws that hold the instrument cluster to the dash pad?

National Parts Depot Fastener Kit Dash / Instrument Panel Pad 20 #C-14655-4AK pretty sure that will do it.

How hard was it to get the speedo cable hooked up on the back of the cluster?

The 2 screws on the underside of the dash above the instrument cluster, were there screw holes on your dash that the screws go into or is it hard plastic on the inside that you just screw into? I got the same dash as you and have no holes here. The original dash had plastic clips that accepted the screws.
    Thanks

I used small self tappers that were long enough to not bore a hole in the top of the dash. I can't remember the length.

@@AutoRestoMod but were the plastic receivers there, molded into the dash like the original?
